The Scene

Jeep's Cody

In front of an unkempt five-story old building.

Growing sweet plants cover part of the building wall, trees that are so dense that fallen leaves accumulate under it. The remaining pile of rubble that is still left just like that in the corner. The building is already very fragile, some roofs even look rickety and hollow, doors and windows torn to the cracked floor in some parts like an earthquake.

It was an old hospital, visible from where Cody was standing across the street, Cody thought he might be able to start looking there, he got the address from a search with Lukas and Hervant last night about an old, unmanageable building, I don't know what he'll find but his two best friends might get very angry because he left first without telling them both.

The road to the building at the end of the street was quite confusing, were it not for the hint of some citizens he might not have found such a big building there, not to mention the tall trees that cover the building until it is not visible from far away.

"Oh that building, it's in the driveway over there, but the building's kind of anker like that, if the night likes a strange sound so many do not use the driveway there" said one of the mothers who had gathered near a school when Cody asked.

Rio and Tony were actually a short distance from the old building, about a block after parking their vehicle and searching on foot to the address they got earlier.

Rio narrowed his eyes looking at the surroundings, the sun was shining bright enough against his eyes that he had to wear his sunglasses.

"I'm in Avenue5, where are you? Want to come here no? Who knows I need you to take pictures of the suspect's house, some people from the forensic department are in other parts of the city" Rio said, he was actually trying to persuade Cody since his last meeting was not too bad, and he was so excited waiting for Cody's answer.

"Well, the old building is a former hospital" Rio replied.

Rio's speech made Cody stop his steps for a bit.

"Ex hospital? The one at the end of Khan's road? I happen to be here, you guys just come"

Rio stopped his path, Tony who saw him came to a stop "what's Rio?"

Rio opened his eyes wide, looking around, who knows seeing Cody's Jeep there.

"Eh where are you Cod? Do you know where it came from? Did someone tell you? Anna yeah?"

Cody shook his head, he walked straight along the passageway that he was familiar with, he seemed to have seen that passageway in his dreams, he said,

A girl who was pulled by her hair along the hallway, slowly Cody continued his steps, there were traces on the floor like traces of dragging something along the hallway until it ended at the end.

"Cody don't turn off the phone, uh this kid, Tony's trying to figure out where the building is fast!"

Rio was anxious, his premonition saying Cody could probably be in danger himself there, and the young man had already turned off his phone connection.

Cody walked slowly to the end of the hallway, his heart pounding even more, not knowing what he would find there but he was starting to feel it was a very bad idea to go there alone at this time.

Tony ran to the end of the road, he seemed to see Cody's Jeep parked not far down the front road.

"Rio's here!"

Without thinking Rio's long run, he and Tony immediately approached towards the Jeep parked right in front of the old building they were looking for, the suspect's last address visible to the residents.

Rio took out the weapon that was slipped on the belt behind his jacket.

"Come on Ton, call for help"

Rio exclaimed as he dashed towards the building.
