Being Patient - ly

"Cody!" that voice, calling out his name, made Cody open his eyes.

Instantly, the light was so bright that it appeared even more clearly on it.

Slowly he got up from his bed and sat down, where was he? His palm touched the smooth and tender grass with warm soil. The wind blew fiercely, the sound of high grass swaying, large trees and as far as the eye could see only a yellowish green expanse, it felt very warm.

"Shaaahh"

He had never been to a place like that before.

"Guy!" Exclaims. Maybe he forgot, and they ended up walking out of town and he had amnesia for a moment, maybe he was asleep.

But no one was there, he was alone.

"Guys, don't joke where you are?"

Cody was afraid of being alone, he was most afraid of himself, since childhood he was always alone, left behind by Collin, his two parents, but he was never really alone all this time, there was Charlie, Hervant, Luke, Luke, Riana, now that Rio and Tony are growing again, he will not be alone anymore, right? But why is he alone there now?

Slowly he stood up, turning his body around looking at his surroundings, maybe this was just a dream, he would wake up soon, soon.

"Hallo, uh you, who?" Cody tried to get closer, he was already walking but the distance remained the same as before. The man only looked straight at him until he slowly disappeared back behind the tree.

A deafening, loud noise until Cody gasped loudly.

He opened his eyes wide, full of sweat on his face, in an instant he was already on the bed.

"Hoh hoh hoh"

Riana who was sitting almost asleep next to the bed immediately stood up to see Cody finally open her eyes.

"Cody, you're up"

Cody lowered his chest back, he had a nightmare, but it was so real that it confiscated his energy. The infusion needle had been stuck in his hand, the oxygen hose was still stuck in his nose, he could not feel anything, probably due to the influence of medicine, which had only his head slightly dizzy, he could not feel anything, bandages coiled up to his forehead, the ceiling that seemed to rotate endlessly, he gambled.

Riana smiled,

"Thank God, you've woken up Cod"

Riana's tired face, her tears haven't dried up completely, her eyes are puffy, she looks tired, Cody raised his hand caressing the sweet girl's cheeks.

Riana shook her head, her tears came down but she smiled, anything now is not important anymore, the important thing is that Cody has woken up after three days unconscious.

Cody sat a little high up on his bed.

The hospital hallway began to be quiet, visiting hours had passed and some patient rooms were not as crowded as before.

With some difficulty, Cody lifted his crutch on his right hand due to his fractured right ankle, and pushed the tube mast of the infusion in his left hand. He paused for a moment after coming out of the room and was finally able to walk in the hallway.

He shouldn't be moving much considering his head is still very painful, but the desire to find out about Dian, the possibility of dying in this hospital makes him continue to think about it until he can not continue to lie down without doing anything.

He glanced at the few officers behind the information desk of the twelfth floor of this hospital, all busy in their respective jobs so that perhaps no one would pierce him there.

"Cody's? What are you doing out here?" She was Mila, who actually wanted to see Cody but widened her eyes to see the young man outside her room.

Immediately help the tired Cody sit down.

The young man only smiled, Mila's small hand helped him sit on the chair which immediately made him relieved, he had indeed been exhausted since.

The girl frowned looking at Cody there.

"He Mil" Cody could only smile looking at Mila's anxious face.

Cody was supposed to go back to his room and lie down, but his stubbornness left Mila with no choice but to take him around by sitting in a wheelchair.

Throughout the hall several pairs of eyes looked towards Cody straight. Cody knew they were not humans, only the residual essence of life that was left behind after their bodies died.

Dian also stood in the corner next to the elevator looking straight at him, his face was not excited at all, tired of life, but lost his identity which made him unable to go anywhere until now, he said, whether when he left his body, maybe just, or long ago, it was what Cody was burdened by because he could not do anything until now.

"Cody" Mila stopped the wheelchair in front of the back garden exit, the rain outside made them stifled there.

Mila sat down on the chair next to Cody.

"If the doctor knew he could be so mad at seeing you outside like this, what, you're looking for Cod"

Cody's gaze was far out, the branches of the tree were waving because of the swift rain, the cold wind that blew through the bones, he was still alive because he could feel all that very clearly.

Mila tidied up Cody's blanket looking at the young man's face for a moment. He has a very strong sense of him, a feeling that is difficult to express in words alone. Looking at Cody's face, it was a joy for him, he could smile widely just by looking at it, as if all the burden he had felt had disappeared instantly.

The young man looked at him.

"Heh, I'm looking for my friend, in fact, up to this point, I don't know how to start"

Mila grabbed Cody's palm over her blanket, the wide hand was cold, rubbed with her two hands to make it a little warmer.

"Look at your cold hands like this, we're back in the room, Dad"

Cody turned towards Mila, smiling at her.

"emm, what, you might be able to help me? he, being treated here first, I lost track of him and I don't know where to look"

"Eh, friend? You sure he was treated here? Em, I might be able to see in the patient data if you want, what's his name?"

Cody held his breath for a moment, maybe Mila could indeed help him, since the beginning he still did not produce the slightest result, he could not continue like that.

"Name's Dian"

Mila was silent, for a moment her countenance changed upon hearing the name, but she immediately smiled trying to hide it.

"E Di Dian's? Em Dian what?" Ask Mila.

Cody smiled.

"He, I only know his first name, we, not so close, but, recently I just found out that he disappeared from his friends, he said, last time he went to this hospital for treatment"

Mila quiet.

He didn't move for a moment in his seat until he smiled and confirmed Cody's blanket.

He stood up from his seat to the back of the chair, pushing him slowly back down the aisle towards the elevator.

"You better go back to the room, the air's not good for you, later, I'll see what I can do to find your friend, although it may be a bit difficult well because patients with that name are very much here"
