SAMUEL'S DECISION

"Married to me, Sam. Marry me!", said Calista with reddened eyes, raising her face to Samuel.

The girl's words shocked Samuel. The bright brown Netra stared intently at Calista's face that looked white with pale color.

"What's wrong with you, why are you so weird? Didn't we both know from the beginning how this relationship, no one brought feelings. We're two strangers who like to be just as happy. You know I haven't believed in marriage since Amber died. You do too, do not believe in the bond of marriage right, like your story yesterday".

"I like you Calista. But that love is not love. A marriage will succeed when it has love in it. While I can't promise you that love. I don't want to commit. I don't want to make your heart hurt because I can't give my heart to you, Cali. My heart is completely given to Amber. Amber carried my heart along with her departure" Samuel said in a heavy voice as he stared intensely at Calista's silent face.

"I'm willing to accept it. I am willing to have a marriage without love in it. I promise not to force you to love me. You remain free as you wish. If you want us to sleep apart I don't mind. I like you too, which is why I want to help you heal your wounds. Like you helped me heal my past wounds yesterday" Calista said in a trembling voice.

"I can't promise to give love either, but when we're together at least something makes me laugh again" Calista said, leaning back against Samuel's chest.

"We should try Sam. If our relationship fails, we can get divorced. At least we're trying to heal the wound with the person we like" Calista said, gently rubbing Samuel's chest.

Samuel seemed to be thinking about all of Calista's words. "Are you sure of what you said, Cali. Although I can't promise to give you my love while we're in the marriage?", Samuel asked as he gently rubbed Calista's back.

Calista nodded his head. "Yes, I'm sure".

Samuel lifted the girl's chin. And stared fixedly at Calista's black bead. He found the girl's faith there. Samuel fused his lips to Calista's lips which suddenly felt very cold and trembling. Calista.

"I'm sorry Sam. I was the one who caused Amber to die. I am responsible for your pain. I'm willing to change my heart's commitment to make amends to you, Sam", Calista said. He was crying in his heart. I regret everything that happened in the past. It turned out that the impact of his negligence, made many hearts hurt. And Calista is ready to endure it.

"We'll try it in a year's time, if we find happiness during that time we'll continue the marriage. But if it turns out we do not find happiness we will separate" said Samuel.

Calista raised his face. "Yes, I agree with that. It means I have to be a good wife to you, so I don't get divorced. Hm of course I do not want until there is a man who dumped me like that", great-grandson of Calista while piercing Samuel's body.

Samuel smiled at her. "Of course, you have to try hard, you also have to be ready to be jealous because there are so many women who like your husband".

"And they have to face Calista Naomi Justin. I will not let any woman take mine" Calista said, rinsing Samuel's lips.
