Katty stared into the ICU from outside the window. The girl touched the glass and stared fixedly at the figure of a middle-aged man who was rubbed weakly on one of the patient's beds in the room which was closely guarded by nurses. Even the family should not just enter, because the room is not a special room that is usually rented by people who have a lot of money. There are a lot of patients in that room.

Who himself. Katty is self-aware, she can't afford the special room, from the salary and bonuses she gets. From his job he can only afford a regular room for his father who had kidney failure since a year ago.

Katty is grateful she was able to finance her father's treatment, even she is very grateful to her boss Calista for financing blood washing that requires a lot of money.

"Sister. Doctor Arthur wants to see brother now in his room".

Katty turned her head, looking at her sister. Katty immediately smiled wryly. He knew that when Arthur's doctor wanted to see him for sure because he wanted to convey his father's deteriorating condition or talk about the costs needed for his father's treatment. Katty as the patient in charge of treatment of course the doctor or the hospital will talk to her. While her sister Anabelle was still in college. And it's Katty's responsibility, too.

"Yes, you go there now" answered Katty, trying hard and showing a cheerful face in front of Anabelle. The girl does not want Anabelle to see it difficult to finance Ethan and Anabelle, because Anabelle will definitely stop out of college as she often told Katty. Anabelle often expressed her desire to work, but Katty wanted her sister to focus on college first.

Katty arrives at the door of Doctor Arthur's room. Katty closed her eyes and knocked on the door of her father's doctor. Then a nurse opened the door and let him in because the doctor was waiting for him.

It was seen the middle-aged doctor sitting in his chair. He smiled when he saw Katty coming.

"Good afternoon doc", said Katty kindly.

"Sore. Please sit down Katty, there's something I want to talk to you about".

Katty nodded her head, instantly her face changed. His feelings are not good either. Katty can only resign and guess what the doctor will talk to her. He knew Dr. Arthur well. Senior and experienced internist doctor. Doctor Arthur is also a very understanding doctor with a family of patients like Katty.

"Yes doc. I am ready to receive any news about papa", said Katty resigned.

Doctor Arthur smiled. "Katty, what I want to say is not about your father but about other things" Arthur said.

Katty stared fixedly at the face of the Latin-faced doctor, who still looked dashing at her age.

"From today I won't be handling your father again Katty, because I'll be focusing on the clinic I have in Birmingham".

"Doctor Arthur, what if my father was transferred to the doctor's clinic? because the doctor's been taking care of my father ever since he had kidney failure".

"While your father must be in intensive care with adequate facilities, he must remain in hospital" Arthur replied.

"Katty.you don't have to worry, there's a replacement doctor. He's the best doctor, too, having handled cases like your father's. He'll be here soon".

"Well, no matter what is best for you, I will follow all the advice of the doctor" Katty said.

Arthur asked the nurse to get a file on Katty's father.

A few minutes later someone knocked on the door. The nurse opened the door and let the man in.

While Katty is busy with her own thoughts and Arthur is still reading the files about Ethan Katty's father.

"Doctor Morgan's here".

Arthur looked at the easy doctor who was already standing next to the senior nurse he had long worked with. Arthur smiled. "Katty. The doctor who will replace me here has come. Doctor Morgan.welcome. This is Katty, the patient's daughter I told you about a while ago. I'm sure Dr. Morgan can handle the patient case even better. You're the expert" said doctor Arthur smiling meaningfully.

Katty turned her head, looking at the man Morgan called the doctor. Katty's eyes stared in disbelief as to who she was looking at now standing behind her. "Mister Steven..?"

The bright brown hazel guy stared back at Katty who was standing from her chair. It seems to be remembering a moment. The next moment a smile adorned his handsome face. "You're my friend Samuel's assistant wife, right...?"
