8. A Promise and Trust

*Vika POV*

Sfx: tap..

The sound of someone's footsteps was heard approaching towards us, until the end of his we all turned our heads and his appearance marsha who had already come out of the room.

"How's zidan doing, marsha!?" annisa.

"He's doing fine... And now is sleeping.., thank goodness zidan now more calm" said marsha who then sat next to me.

"Thank God.." timpal annisa relieved.

"I've buried the body of Zidan's parents to a decent place" said Rizal, leaning on the sofa and closing his eyes.

"Good rizal! Thank you, yes!" timpal marsha who smiles at rizal.

"Hey-hey..!! He wasn't the only one who buried her! We both helped Marsha!" annisa said scowling.

Okta nodded her head in agreement like annisa and puffed her pouting cheeks.

"Yes-yes... Thank you my friends" said Marsha with a smile.

"Then... Where's shin and kelvin?, where haven't you been seen since?" marsha continued while looking back and forth to find the whereabouts of the two people.

"They checked the state of your house marsha" said Okta with her innocent tone.

"Seck my house??" marsha said in a tone of ignorance.

"But my parents aren't home" marsha continued.

"What mean!? Then where are they??" I asked him, looking at Marsha's face.

"When we were on that trip I got a message from my phone, it was from my parents. They said they were being assigned to the square post and help the victims who were there as well as looking for vaccines to eliminate this zombie virus" said Marsha at length.

All who heard the marsha explanation only nodded their heads if we understood.

"Have you guys cooked dinner for later?" marsha said, shifting the subject.

"Of course it is" chimpal annisa briefly.

"We just wait until zidan wakes up and also mr. shin and kelvin come back from your house" said I who leaned the head of the sofa.

Sfx: criieeeett..... Cklek!! Taps.. Taps.. Taps..

I then heard a door being opened and someone's footsteps.

"Hey all! Sorry I fell asleep!" said Zidan who approached us with his sengum who was cheerful back.

"You've woken up, Zidan?" I said with a surprised tone.

We were all also a little surprised by the arrival of zidan, what zidan still remembered was the incident this afternoon.

"Then where's my parents' body?" ask Zidan who saw no bodies in this middle room.

"I buried her properly in your yard, sorry for not asking permission from you." replied Rizal in a rather heavy tone.

Zidan then sat down at the side and patted her back, rizal was only shocked to see Zidan's smile and on his back pat.

"Thank you guys, I'm feeling better now and also... My parents sacrificed themselves and gave me confidence... To protect my family's one-on-one" said a smiling Zidan with a faint look.

Zidan then rang from the sofa and clenched his right hand with a face of spirit staring at Rizal.

"You know rizal!? Don't we still have another purpose!" speak with full confidence.

"Other goals?" rizal said with a tone of ignorance.

"Don't we still have to go to 6 more places" said Rizal with a confident smile.

We were all stunned and smiled, because Zidan cared so much for all of us even though his heart was screaming to cry for loss.

"I can't get drawn into the grief of loss, therefore I will try to protect my family and friends" she continued with a sincere smile that adorned her lips.

We who saw the face of Zidan who was smiling sincerely were just stunned and amazed in the heart, somehow I felt this atmosphere was very unrivaled for me and so warm. I wish we could all come together like this and this atmosphere would still exist and would not fade away.

The rhythmic sound of the rain that has subsided tonight with its cold, the moon and stars decorate this evening beautifully.

Sfx:sa.tik.tik.tik.tik.tik.. Kriee... Klekka... Cklek...!

Suddenly the sound of someone opening the front door came to our ears, suddenly I went from the sofa and checked the front door with cautious steps.

"Who opens the door at night like this...? Is it zombie..?" I murmured in my heart with a bad feeling.

I peeked out from behind the wall and it turned out that the two people who were waiting for had just returned... After checking out his friend's house.

"You guys are back too..! Said zidan who surprised me because zidan was already standing in front of me with okta and annisa behind him.

"You guys..!! Since when is it here!?" my shocked words then came out from behind the wall and saw Kelvin and Pak shin who were at the door with their bodies soaked.

"We heard the front door open and why does the vika sneak around..?? Tymphal octa with his innocence.

"Huh.. I-I'm not doing anything!" my reply somewhat stammeredly hid my embarrassed expression and looked for an excuse.

"REally..?" the word okta who thinks innocently.

"Who is zidan up ahead!!" said marsha who slightly shouted from the middle room.

"Kelvin and shin sir, marsha!!" zidan answered who saw the approaching marsha.

"So how did kelvin?, did you find anything?" ask Annisa who went straight to the point.

Kelvin and Pak shin did not answer Annisa's question and showed her 2 suitcases.

"Huhahh... It was raining a lot out there, but it was in our favor because the zombies outside were confused because of the sound of this rain, yahh... Even though we were soaking wet" said Kelvin sighing in his wet clothes.

"Marsha, here are some important items in your house" said Mr. Shin with a friendly smile.

"Thank you, Mr. Shin" said he was happy and brought 2 suitcases inside.

"Zidan, help me, this is heavy tofu!" marsha grumbled to escape one of her suitcases to Zidan.

Zidan was just a whiny then helped carry the suitcase owned by Marsha to their room. Rizal approached us with 2 towels and threw them at Pak shin and kelvin. The two of them caught the towel thrown towards the two of them swiftly.

"Wand first, the bathroom is ready. After this we have dinner" said Rizal who then returned to the living room and slept on a sofa.

Me, annisa and okta go to the living room and turn on the tv while chatting together, mr. shin and kelvin go to the bathroom.

*POV* Act*

The cold night made me feel a little cold even though I was inside the house.

"Annisa, please set the ac temperature... I was cold." said I hugged Annisa because it was cold and whined like a child with a plain face.

"Yes" said Annisa smiling and stroking my head.

Annisa then grabbed the remote ac and set her temperature to warm, I still hugged Annisa so as not to get cold.

Me, annisa, and vika were chatting just pleasantries, ordinary because girls are like this.

Mr. shin and Kelvin who had come out of the bathroom, changed his clothes and rested on the sofa at Rizal's company.

20 Minutes later......

19:20 wib

Sfx:stap.tap..

The sound of footsteps of zidan and marsha approached us, seen marsha holding a cute baby girl.

"eek... Whose baby is this.. Funny thing!" vika pinched the little baby's cheek with anxiety.

"Fearful!" timpal annisa was also anxious to see the baby in the sling of marsha.

"Why do I see you guys, like a married couple who has just arrived the baby" said Kelvin who slightly insinuated his friend.

"It's a little kelvin, like a happy little family" continued Mr. Shin with a smile looking at marsha and zidan.

"Ma-times anyway!?, we're like a married couple?!" said zidan who stammered with a slightly red face while scratching his head that did not itch and looked the other way because it was quite embarrassed.

"Really..!" timpal marsha who was shocked and her cheeks began to blush held in shame.

"Yes, that's right.. What then? What's the name of this baby?" ask me with a plain face.

"His name is reina setiawati, my youngest sister and also his age has just stepped on 8 months" replied zidan.

"Ohh.." answered us all briefly with a nod of the head.

"Hey! Come eat! I'm hungry." said Rizal who surprised us because before his rizal was still soundly asleep.

"Alright then, let's have dinner together" annisa said with a smile.

"Yes but I'll put Reina in her room first, you guys go there first I'll catch up" said marsha who then went to Zidan's room to put Reina to sleep.

We all went to the dining room and shifted chairs, sat down and circled the dining table filled with delicious food and ready to eat. Soon, Marsha came and joined us all.

At the end of all the food on the dining table was exhausted unnoticed, all very satiated after eating delicious dishes so that it looks zidan and rizal who stroked his stomach.

Zidan and rizal satiety with a distended stomach after finishing the dishes at the table and then fell asleep in the middle room in front of the tv.

"After eating straight to sleep, very fast they.." said Annisa who saw zidan and rizal who had slept soundly.

"Well that's how the two of them are" said kelvin who joined to see zidan and rizal with a smile.

"Then we rest first" said Vika who yawned because he was sleepy.

"Yes.. But.. Who will be on guard?" marsha.

"Me and Mr. Shin will be on guard and then replace with them" Kelvin replied as he pointed to the sleeping zidan and rizal.

"Yes, just rest" said Mr. Shin kindly.

"Thank you, Mr. Shin, let's go to the room, I'm sleepy" said I who was sleepy.

"Yes both and also... Don't call me sir, it's like I'm too old for you, so just call me by my name" Mr. Shin said with a friendly smile.

"I am also only 24 years old, and still young... Although not as young as you" continued Mr. Shin with a smile while scratching his head that does not itch.

"Well we'll all call Mr. shin by our names, shall we?" timpal kelvin's.

"Of course you can!, please go ahead" replied kamiya.

"Then we rest first yes, brother kamiya" said vika and marsha who then went to Zidan's room to rest.

"We're counting on you kelvin! Kamiya!" annisa gave a thumbs up to encourage them both.

"OK ready commander!!" kelvin and kamiya said simultaneously and smiled.

Annisa and I went to Zidan's room and slept with Marsha and Vika.

I closed my eyes lying next to Annisa, just the one I was thinking about for now... How are you there andhika...

I opened my eyes again with a gaze towards the ceiling of the room, are you okay there andhika....

"Can't sleep...?" annisa said that surprised me.

I tilted my body towards Annisa with an innocent smile.

"I-iya annisa, I just thought about the state of andhika out there.., is she okay there" with the worried and sad.

"I'm also so okta, is haqqul okay... But take it easy okta" said Annisa who then stroked my head gently.

"They'll be fine until we meet them both, not if Andhika has promised to come back to you okta" she assures me with a smile.

"They must be back, believe me.." continued Annisa again with a sweet face and lips decorated with a sincere smile.

"Yes annisa, I believe.." answered me with a childlike smile.

We were both late asleep together with hearts that believed in his return.... On a silent night only the moon and stars shine beautifully.

Meanwhile in haqqul and andhika....

*Andhika POV*

I played my zippo match while looking deeply at the bus we were riding on this morning.

I remember the incident after the bus was rolled over, felt... Like living again as...

A murderer......
