From a distance there is a reddish color on the hill. Raindrops become catalysts to create black smoke that soars in the dark night sky. The burning scent rippled through the air, with ashes flying into the residential area.
Mr. Siswoyo's wife screamed hysterically, crying so badly. Although he did not know the condition of Mr. Siswoyo, but when he heard the house on the hill was on fire already made him sure something bad had happened. Didn't the wife remind you not to go to the house, especially at night. Everyone knows Mr. Suryono has lost his mind, and could have acted aggressively to harm others.
The mothers of nearby neighbors embrace Mr. Siswoyo's wife and try to calm her down. The roaring cries made tonight even more grim. Speech and words to be patient and positive thinking in fact never make Mr. Siswoyo's wife calm. What was there instead made him roar and rest on the roadside land that was slightly wet because of the rain.
Male residents run to the top of the hill while carrying buckets, or jerry cans filled with water. Some carried machetes and scythes. Worry and anger are mixed. They panic, if until the fire spreads on the pine tree then the forest where they take sap is exhausted. On the other hand they are daunted if they do not carry weapons, lest Pak Suryono has prepared a dangerous trap for the residents. Who knows what a fat guy's thinking is? That's what's on everyone's mind.
"Fire runs into a dry pine tree in the north!" pekik Pak Kasun panicked. The head of the hamlet was in the front row carrying a flashlight and jerry cans with water that was only half filled.
"The water pack that I brought is only half?" chirp one of the citizens with curly hair.
"Your sheep's splinter! Yooo heavy. I'm old mbok tell bring a lot of water can be flabbergasted dong!" Mr. Kasun grumbled in annoyance.
Although initially hesitant and afraid of being trapped by Mr. Suryono, residents ended up watering the burning house and had collapsed it. They work shoulder to shoulder to put out the fire. Even some youths were seen back and forth down the river below the hill to fetch water. About half an hour, then the fire can be extinguished with the help of rain water which is also increasingly heavy.
"God! There's bodies!" shouted one of the residents who was checking the debris of the former house that burned. Everyone immediately crowded in.
"Surge! Move aside! Move over!" yelled Mr. Kasun to the crowd.
It is clear that the human figure in the prone condition is lifeless. His thin body was charred, blistered and peeling all over his back. From his stature the citizens believe he is Mr. Suryono.
"Take the body and bring it down. Call Mbah Modin to help take care of the corpse. I did not call Mbah Lurah the same Mr. Babin first," said Mr. Kasun gave the order. Residents appear to obey and immediately carry out Mr. Kasun's orders.
Has not had time for Mr. Kasun to unlock his cellphone screen, heard screams from other residents.
"Bah Kasuunn! There's another body in the abyss!" shouted the citizen who was clad in a plaid glove around his neck.
"Whose life? Which side? Don't make me tremble like this ah," whined Mr. Kasun with his trembling fingers.
Together with some residents, Mr. Kasun immediately checked and sure enough there was a corpse on the edge of a steep cliff. The location is quite difficult to reach although not too far from the path leading to the settlement.
The atmosphere was increasingly excited at once gripping after being examined and it was known that the corpse in the ravine was Mr. Siswoyo.
Meanwhile, Nilla was piggybacking on Wildan who was grimacing in pain. Nilla is quite in pulling the gas of his motor matic, although in fact he is not so adept at riding a motorcycle. A few times the front tire feels smelly and almost toppled.
"What about Angel? We left him there alone" Wildan said. His head rested on Nilla's scented shoulders. Wildan's consciousness was really on the verge of breaking down. His view was blurry. It was Angel's worry that kept him awake.
Nilla was silent. He was crying without a sound. A moment ago he saw black smoke coming from the top of the hill. He is very worried about Angel's safety, but is unable to do anything about it. All he could do right now was take the injured Wildan to the nearest clinic.
Unfortunately because Nilla is not too familiar with the road, did not even find a clinic or health center. The heavy rain flushed and Nilla and Wildan were drenched. More than thirty minutes drive, Nilla even arrived around the city. Nilla decides to stop at the private clinic she first found.
Nilla parked her motorcycle right in front of the clinic security post. He immediately asked the security guard there for help. Deftly the officer in the gray uniform immediately carried Wildan and fled to the ER room.
Nilla's tiny body felt extremely tired. He dropped himself in front of the glass door of the ER room. Sitting down with gasping breath, Nilla tried to stay strong even though tears would not stop dripping. He was afraid, anxious, and angry.
With trembling, Nilla reached into the cell phone in her pants pocket. Unfortunately due to rain water, the android screen does not want to turn on. Nilla continues to force-pressing all parts of the screen, but all that is free. Fixed screen black.
"I'm sorry Ma'am, don't sit here. Please sit on the available seats," reprimanded Mr. Satpam kindly while pointing to the iron chair attached not far from where Nilla rested.
After rubbing her eyes, Nilla stood up and sat down at the spot indicated by the security guard. The clinic is quiet tonight. There was only Nilla who was in the waiting room of the ER.
The security guard seems to walk away letting Nilla who still looks as excited. The next minute the nurse called him. The nurse asked Nilla to sign a letter of approval.
At the same time came another patient who entered the ER room. A man with a messy bandage on his head. The patient was delivered by a strong and handsome man.
"Please save my friend. He's a police officer" said the well-bodied man, handing him an identity card.
Nilla finished signing the approval letter. Just as he was about to sit down at his original spot, the Security Guard approached him and handed him a bottle of cold mineral water.
"Pacify yourself, Ma'am. Drink it first. And if you need help, you can convey it to me at the front guard post" said the friendly security guard. Nilla nodded and watched. The security guard may not be too far old with him. Looks friendly with a gentle smile.
