Ghani's lips seemed to twitch, but for a few seconds, no words came out of his mouth.
Ghani looked at the woman standing right in front of him, her face looking natural. Tight eyelashes adorn his round eyes, his nose is not too sharp, but very harmonious with his thin and ripe lips. Her hair was shoulder-length with thick, neat front bangs, looking adorable with her slightly chuby cheeks.
Not a bad picture, both in terms of appearance, or in terms of morality. But for years knowing each other, Ghani had no special feelings for him at all.
"Bang!" Call Melani.
He looked at Ghani with anxious expectation. Could it be that man I would break his heart. In her heart she was very hopeful, the man would keep the same feelings for her. But if reality does not match expectations, he tries to accept. The heart cannot be forced.
"Melani, i.i..."
"Just say Bang, don't hesitate! Whatever you're feeling, I'm trying to understand" Melani said.
Ghani let out a long sigh, then she looked back at Melani.
"Actually, until now I still did not dare to have such feelings." Ghani said slowly.
"How do you mean Bang?" ask Melani.
"You know how I'm Mel, I don't deserve to love, nor be loved. Right now, my life goal is only one, make the kids happy. I have to give them a decent life, I don't want their future to be the same as mine." Ghani said while laughing blandly.
"I understand how you feel Bang, but, don't all people deserve to have love, no matter what the circumstances." Melani.
"What you're saying is true, but to me, once I dare to love, I should be able to make her happy. And now, I have nothing to make someone happy. Melani, I don't dare love yet, because I'm afraid this love will actually make you miserable."
"Happiness isn't just about Bang's treasure."
"I know Mel, but if it's just to make him full, I'm not necessarily capable. Will he be happy?"
Melani did not answer, because she no longer knew what to say. Surely he would accept whatever Ghani's circumstances, but he also could not force, he tried to respect his choice.
"I understand Bang, I'm sorry I was so sassy to talk about this." Melani said while looking down.
"It's okay, it's me who should apologize. Maybe my answer disappointed you, but how else, I don't deserve to have you Mel." Answer Ghani.
"But we're still friends, aren't we, Bang?" ask Melani.
"Of course."
"Don't tell anyone, Bang" Melani asked as she clasped Ghani's arm.
"No, we know enough" Ghani replied with a smile.
"I'm waiting for you Bang, hopefully someday, the first woman you love is me" Melani said, letting go of Ghani's hand.
He stared at the man's departure with a sweet smile on his lips. Melani has just moved from her place, when Ghani's body has disappeared at the turn.

Nothing in this world is eternal. Everything is spinning properly. Every thing felt at the top, and also at the bottom. No matter how strong he is, sometimes it will disappear.
Like the sun, though it seemed mighty, and was at its highest point, yet it was immortal. At night, the sun begins to disappear, changing the moon and stars, which decorate the sky.
In the order of nature, all things go according to their line of circulation. As for humans, they walked according to his fate line.
Like this moment, so quickly day passed into night. The sun that a few hours ago still shines bright, has now sunk in the western horizon. Time does not want to wait, it continues even though we want it to stop.
This is what Bylla felt. He was standing glued in front of the shopping center, his face looked very agitated. It was late, but he still did not know how much longer to wait.
"Where yes Brother Leon, he said he would pick me up, but it's been almost an hour yet nongol-nongol." Bylla's grouse is alone.
Today he did not bring a car, because this morning he left for the office with Reymond. But this afternoon Reymond had a meeting, so he could not take him home.
As a result Bylla went home alone by taxi, but he stopped by shopping first. On the way, Bylla got a phone call from Leon, he invited Bylla to visit Grandma Halimah. Leon promises to pick him up, because he happens to be in his office not far from the shopping center.
"Where is the low bat phone, how do I contact Leon's sister," murmured Bylla while looking back and forth.
Not long after, Bylla faintly heard the sound of singing that flowed quite melodious. Bylla turned her head, looking towards the source of the voice. Bylla squinted her eyes, looking at the figure before her more intensely.
"He was like the man of that time." Mumbled Bylla slowly.
A few seconds later, the man started walking towards her. Now he's standing not far from Bylla's. The man again plucked the strings of his guitar, which now sounded clearer in Bylla's ear.
He sang a song that Bylla had never heard.
I greeted the morning with a laugh
No matter if you have no treasure
I put a dream in my soul
Hope for a time
it becomes real
I'm just an ordinary man
Who are only good at stringing up hope
But I never gave up
I stayed even though my legs were tired
I am the dreamer
I am the dreamer
Who hopes to reach the stars
Bylla smiled, as if swept away in the melody she was listening to. Shortly after, the man ended his finger-pointing. Some people around him, began to put money coins into a plastic bag that he carried.
Bylla stepped on her feet, she walked over to the man, clutching the sheets of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
"A very melodious song" said Bylla, putting money in a plastic bag belonging to the man.
The man looked up, staring at Bylla without a blink. And before long, he stared into the plastic bag he had in his hand.
"Don't do much Miss" said the man.
"It's okay" replied Bylla, shaking her head.
"But..."
"Are you the man at the time?" bylla asked cutting off the interlocutor's speech.
"You, you still remember me?"
The man who is none other than Ghani, he lowered his head to hide his smile. He never imagined, would be reunited with the owner of blue eyes. What else until he remembers.
"Yes, but I was hesitant." Answer Bylla.
Ghani did not ask any further, suddenly a man came to them.
"Bylla, sorry I'm a little late, I was still delivering my friend." Said Leon who had just arrived.
Ghani turned his head, looking at the handsome man wearing a formal suit. A man who is a caste with a woman who lately he often misses.
"I've been waiting for you for a long time, brother." Bylla's voice sulks.
"I'm sorry, I called you so many times, but your number's off." Said Leon.
"My phone is low bat" replied Bylla with a big smile.
"Basic forgetful!" Let Leon.
"Who is he? could he be her lover? Why is my heart so no yes" Ghani said as she squeezed the plastic bag she was holding.
"Come on!" take Leon while turning his body, and step towards his car.
"Yes." Yeah."
"I go first, yes" said Bylla, staring at Ghani.
Ghani answered with a nod.
But just a few steps Bylla walked, suddenly Ghani shouted at him.
"Wait!" ghani shouted, as she stepped closer to Bylla.
"What's wrong?" ask Bylla.
"Ghani" said Ghani, extending his hand.
"Bylla" replied Bylla, welcoming Ghani's hand.
"Sorry, I.I..."
"What's wrong?"
"M." Mmm."
"What's wrong? Just say!" bylla said as she looked at Ghani.
"Is he your lover? Mmmm sorry it's nothing, I just, me. I.." said Ghani nervously.
"I'm so stupid, why ask this," Ghani said as she bit her lip.
"No, he's my brother." Answer Bylla.
"Sister?" ghani asked as she scrunched her forehead. Is that really her sister, why her face is so much different.
"Yes, he's my brother, but a cousin, not a sibling." Answer Bylla.
"Oh."
"Come byl!" yelled Leon from a distance.
"Yes." Yeah." Replied Bylla in a slightly loud voice.
"I go first, yes" said Bylla as she walked away from Ghani.
"Hopefully we can meet again" whispered Ghani with a big smile. A whisper, which of course only he himself hears.
Seriate...
