A Series of Dreams
Change plans

“Na, sorry.” Sandi stood on the porch of the house, talking to Kana on the phone.

His feelings are still messy because of Kenanga. The girl gave him a surprise by getting pregnant without a husband. The heart of which parents can accept this reality, even Lasmi until now still locked himself in the room. Continuing to cry and lament fate, limp on the bed imagining a marriage that was forced to be annulled.

Repeatedly begging everything to go as planned, but Sandi can not be cheating. Right and wrong must be clearly defined, not disguised for any reason.

“What's up, Kang?” Kana answered casually across the call. Sekampung friends who will soon be able to contact him, of course there is news that wants to be conveyed regarding the marriage of their daughter's son.

At that twilight, cool air enveloped the city of Bandung. The wind was blowing lightly, caressing the wrinkled face with the jawline tightening. Not seen a smile, Sandi's body stiffened since morning.

“Na, sorry.” Repeating the same words, it was difficult for Sandi to start the conversation. The news you want to tell may surprise everyone.

“Yes, Kang. What's up?”

“Na, maybe Kenanga and Wisely matchmaking can not be continued.”

Kana was silent at the end of the call. For a moment, he digested back the speech that Sandi had just thrown out in a soft voice. Honestly, he was worried about mis-capturing information.

“Em, Kenanga already has a lover. And, I .. decided to marry her to another man.” Sandi tried to explain as honestly as she could. There's no way to be frank if her eldest daughter's pregnant. This Aib belongs not only to Kenanga, but also to her family.

“Kang, it's not that easy. Preparations have started running and it is impossible to cancel just like that.”

“Mak ... means .. replaced Seruni?” guess Kana.

“Yes, Na. If you don't mind.” Sandi said doubtfully.

Smile on Kana's face. Of course he never minded. In fact, the middle-aged woman had already fallen for Seruni at first sight. Unfortunately, he could not choose. All because of a deal.

“Union good child. I'm sure he won't let you down. He is currently in college.”

Kana looked in her silence. Whatever it was, she was sure one of Sandi's daughters was her son's soul mate. However, this exchange was so sudden, of course he had to fix his feelings to start accepting Seruni. Not to mention the response of the husband and Wisely which certainly can not be ignored.

“Give me time, Kang. Right now, I have to explain everything to my husband and Wisely. I personally don't mind. Both Kenanga and Seruni, both sweet children. Only, this decision is not mine. I need to inform my family here. Later, I'll call you again, Kang.”

Sandi nodded in agreement. The call had not been interrupted when a roaring scream came from inside the house. The old man was shocked and ran in to confirm what happened.

“Na, it's been, yes. Lasmi called me.” Sandi decided on a hasty call. Flowing into the room, he was jolted to see the show his wife was doing.

“Bu, have you gone crazy?” asked the twilight old man. Kenanga sat on the floor with a puffy face and despair. “What happened, Nga? Don't tell me there's a new surprise again.”

“Pak, she ... she is pregnant with ...”
