A Series of Dreams
Matchmaking Deal

“Stupid?”

Sweet iced tea gushed out of Wisely's lips when the matchmaking discourse was re-echoed by the mother. Fascinating eyes, gawking mouth. He still did not expect that Kana would speak so clearly in front of the three people he considered foreign. They had met several times while still young, but the shadow did not stick at all in the memory.

All eyes were directed at one point when a tanned water spill littered the table with a rhythmic coughing sound. Kana who sat right next to the son, rubbed the young man's back to muffle the choking that Wisely experienced.

“Mama what the fuck? It's not like I told you not to talk. Why talk about matchmaking?” A pair of clear eyes that had been mine suddenly stretched wide. All the drowsiness and drunken effects disappeared at once just because of the series of words that came out of Cana's lips.

He saw faces that were stunned skinning.

“Sorry, his name is young people today. Every discussion of the soul mate is always inborn first. But, if this is not the case, how else?” Kana was not feeling well, looking at Sandi and her family alternately.

“This son is not a perfect man. Lack of a lot, compared to more.” Looking towards Erlang. The man was busy biting the piece of meat that was woven with a lidi, the old man did not care about the lunge of the wife. They had discussed this matter before leaving for Paris Van Java and he agreed for the good of his beloved son who had strayed too far.

“Ma.” Wisely interjected as Kana spoke.

“Sstt, remember. If you do not want to obey .. tomorrow out of the house. Don't bring anything,” whispered Kana right in front of her son's earlobe.

Having no other choice, he had to be tough and act decisively. It's been too long to let Wisely live free, wandering in a world that's gone crazy.

“Ma?” Wisely again muttered the same word. The mind is suddenly clear when subtle threats are whispered again. There was earnestness in the lightning of Kana's eyes, making Wisely constrict and obey.

“Modest series sports car, extra allowance. Mama will give you double. In fact, your target apartment is in your grasp. Married to the woman of Mama's choice, your life will be felt in heaven.” Kana's smile expands when her whispers affect her beloved. Wisely's face loosened slowly and carved a smile with a slow nod.

The young man with the status of a widower did not protest much. The rest, he and the papa are just good listeners. Until one discussion that makes the eyeball almost jump out.

“Seruni?” Shuddering, he looked towards the braided girl who was showing off a flared smile.

“Not, not Uni. But, Anga.” Miss Lasmi interjected when she saw the shock in Wisely's eyes.

Dumbfounded, body stiffened, floating gaze. Wisely was only able to breathe a sigh of relief when she found out that the woman to be married was not the village girl in front of her.

“Ah, I've almost asphyxiated.” Seruni felt relief when the matchmaking was not intended for her. Handsome, charming, a pity so immoral and minimal faith. Behind the aroma of camphor, Seruni could smell the smell of alcohol even though vaguely. The blank look was enough to answer the big question that since morning filled his mind. Why is a handsome man and tycoon in front of him to have to find a wife through an arranged marriage.

“Unni, Wise. Not Noni.” Kana used her son's words.

Wisely shook her hands and chuckled. “That's it, the important thing is not him. I don't match her face, Ma.”

“Why?” Kana smiling.

“Too simple. Less challenging.”

“Well, then it fits with Kenanga. Kenanga's face is more challenging.” Lasmi interrupted again. “Aduh, Sir. We should have brought a picture of Kenanga. So Nak Wise can look. Definitely in love.” The old woman was not much different from Kana, raving since the beginning of the meeting and was busy showing off the eldest daughter who could not attend the meeting of two families.

The word agreement has been obtained, two families also re-established a friendship rope that is almost cut off. Kenanga—the oldest child of choice, Wisely seemed to agree without rejection.

Get married. When else get married and can get all the five-star facilities. After all, from her mother's story, Kenanga was more interesting. Not a village like this girl.

Wisely was still observing Seruni who was busy with a cell phone in his grasp.

He's not ugly. It's just too simple. How can I take her to the club after marriage. It's better her brother. Although not yet seen, the picture of Kenanga more interesting.

“Kang, I will tell you how to go ahead. We have to go back to Jakarta to prepare the engagement. Keep contact, Kang.” Kana sipped the remaining orange ice in the glass.

The casual meeting ended with an agreement. If there is no transverse event, the next few months of the wedding will be held. A simple event in Kang Sandi village and a luxurious reception in Jakarta afterwards.

Happy hues adorn old faces that do not stop smiling. They will be different in a moment, the feeling of condolence is slowly going away.

“We'll take you, Kang. Hows it? Who knows, we could meet Anga.” Kana gave an idea, turning her head towards her son who was busy playing the phone.
