The black motorbike boarded by Rebyano and Adeline is now on a busy road. Adeline glanced at the rearview mirror to see the funny thing Rebyano was wearing on her head. The pink helmet became something that made Adeline laugh.
"Why, Ayline?" asked Rebyano who heard Adeline's laughter.
Adeline immediately confirmed her sitting position, no longer glancing at the rearview mirror of the motorcycle. "There's nothing, Rebyano." His eyes were now focused forward looking at the street that was slightly blocked by the black helmet Rebyano was wearing.
"Every night I asked for your number through Agatha, I had your chat after Agatha gave me your number, but you didn't reply to my chat. What time did you sleep?" rebyano asked in a slightly loud voice.
Adeline recalled what time it was on the message from Rebyano that was sent last night. Remember that message came in about fifteen minutes after Adeline entered the house. And around that hour Adeline remembered that she and Agatha ate the fried rice made by Rebyano's mother together while telling her how about the day.
"I haven't slept at that hour. Sorry for not replying to your message, yesterday I forgot to activate the data network" Adeline replied.
"Oh gapapa, kirain me you go straight to sleep after getting home because of the fatigue," rebyano said as he lowered his legs to balance his motor that was stopped behind other motors that were also waiting for the change of color of the traffic lights. "How do you think mom's fried rice is made?" rebyano asked with Adeline staring from the rearview mirror.
"I give you one hundred out of a hundred for your mother's fried rice. It feels so good, it looks like you have to raise the price to sell in the store."
Traffic lights that were originally red are now alternating into green. Rebyano continued riding his bike carefully. "Mom would definitely be happy if you praised it in front of mom straight away. Regarding the price, we have set that price because we are very happy to hear people who are grateful to be able to eat good food but the price can be reached by those who are in economic trouble."
"What a noble family you are, Rebyano," praise Adeline for the good family she met.
Rebyano smiled faintly. "Thank you for the compliment."
There was no further conversation between them during the trip. Until finally the motorbike stopped in the parking lot of a shop that was not so spacious.
Adeline got off that bike first. "I go in first."
Rebyano who was pushing his bike turned briefly to Adeline. "Yes please," he replied. Then the focus was back on the bike.
Daryata and Gita are already in the store with different activities. Daryata water the plants in the store while cleaning up decorative objects that are slightly dusty. While Gita is struggling with the cashier, starting from preparing a payment receipt machine, putting change, and activating the android tablet used as a booking engine.
The sound of the store door that Adeline opened made Daryata and Gita look at the same time.
"Good morning, father," said Adeline to Daryata who was working on her activities near the entrance.
"Morning, son," replied Daryata with his switched eyes seeing his son who had just finished parking his bike properly. "You're leaving with Rebyano?" tannya
Adeline nodded and smiled. "Yes, yeah," he answered.
"Oh good. So no more idle rear seat Rebyano motor." Daryata returned Adeline's smile.
Adeline smiled clumsyly. "I want to get ready first yes, well," he said with uncomfortable gestures to quickly approach the mother of the owner of the store.
"Yes please." Daryata let it go and then went back to cleaning a small vase that had no plants.
Adeline's move accelerated until she finally stopped in front of the cashier's desk. "Good morning, mother," he said to Gita.
"Good morning, Ayline," Gita replied with a sweet smile. "Have you had breakfast?"
Adeline nodded. "Here, ma'am."
"Yes you are ready now. I'm going to be at nine, the store is open."
"Good, mom. I'm sorry." Adeline immediately moved towards the curtain-covered room behind the Gita.
The sound of the door being opened by Rebyano made Daryata and Gita again turn at the same time towards the door.
"Mom made coffee dong. Rebyano's eyes drowsy" cried Rebyano as he closed the door.
"Officacy of shouting." A clean canoebo from the apron bag Daryata used to hit Rebyano who hurriedly got out of the way, so the canoebo only managed to hit the wind.
Gita threw away the unused blank paper from the payment receipt experiment and asked her son, "What time did you sleep last night?" Gita does not know Rebyano sleeping hours because last night Rebyano stayed at her grandmother's house which is still one area with Ayline's house.
"Hour three," he answered casually making his two parents stare at him sharply. "Eit don't be angry. You see last night at the grandma's house there was also her aunt Mora's son. Rebyano help grandma nenangin his son aunt Mora pas nangis, so Rebyano can sleep at three o'clock pas his son aunt Mora 'alah anteng."
"Mora nitip her kid to granny again?" tanya Gita gets a nod from Rebyano. "Emang really should be taught the boy's lesson." Gita took off her apron with a red face because her heart was upset to hear that annoying thing.
"Eh, uh, uh, mom don't ma'am." Daryata and Rebyano hold Gita together.
Adeline who just came out of the curtain-covered room earlier with her appearance that was ready to become an officer in this tavern was confused to see three people who were fighting each other's mouths.
Rebyano's eyes stared at Adeline with both hands still holding her mother back from leaving the tavern.
"What's wrong?" adeline asked Rebyano without a sound.
Rebyano. "Nothing," he replied without a voice as well.
"I warned your aunt, but she did the same thing." The red color on Gita's face began to dim. "Review don't stop mom!"
Daryata and Rebyano are holding Gita back. "Udah, mom. Later if the store closes new mom to aunt Mora's house. Now it's time to open the shop. The shop needs a mother" Rebyano said, wiping her mother's arm.
Adeline's line of sight that had noticed the three people who made her confused was now turned into looking outside the store. Three large men and a young man leading the way stepped closer to the door of the shop, bringing Adeline closer to the family of the owner.
"They're coming." Daryata who had calmed his wife was now moving towards the entrance. Rebyano and Gita also began to move into their positions at the tavern.
And Adeline? The woman even suggested that her head was watching the movement of the three shop owners left her.
"Nline!" Adeline turned to the source of the voice from Rebyano who now put up her nametag. "You're standby up ahead. After the finished dish, you immediately deliver it to it," said Rebyano who first pointed to the order table so, the second pointed to the seats of the people who had been directed by Daryata.
"I have to deliver the order there?" asked Adeline who was a little afraid of seeing those people.
Rebyano. "Later with dad to deliver it."
A little quiet feeling Adeline when dad called. Dad will be his defensive fort later.
With a hurried step the father approached towards them. "Is your mom in the kitchen?" tanyanya asked the whereabouts of the wife.
"Udah. I must have cooked the food they used to order" Rebyano replied.
"Wine. The food they ordered now was the same as usual." Daryata headed straight for the kitchen leaving Adeline and Rebyano.
Adeline looked agitated. Whereas Rebyano who was used to this situation only sighed. "Gig, shindig." Two words were uttered by Rebyano while shaking his head.
Adeline is confused as to what to do now. "Should I help you cook?" ask him to Rebyano.
Rebyano turned and shook his head. "no need. I'll help mom. You don't have to panic."
"How can I not panic when I see mom and dad panicking like that?"
Rebyano laughed. "They are lebay. This situation has happened often. You don't have to panic like them."
Adeline nodded then managed to catch her breath trying her beating heart was not because it could return to normal again as soon as possible. His thumb nails rub against each other signifying his heartbeat has not subsided.
When Adeline's heartbeat began to return to normal and her feelings began to calm down, her eyes even caught the eye of one of the men from earlier who continued to stare at her without blinking.
Panicked instead of playing, Adeline immediately turned her body again staring at Rebyano who was staring back with a shady look and two ends of her lips that were lifted up.
As bewitched by Rebyano's smile, Adeline's heart immediately warmed up like someone was hugging her. His heart calmed down again.
