Adeline is now moving her legs towards home. His eyes sparkled at the nametag that read the name of Ayline Namora Ilza that was in the grasp of both hands. The name of the owner of the body was wiped, and the nametag was raised as high as his head.
"I'm so happy" he said as he looked at the man walking to his left.
Rebyano only showed a flat facial expression. "Obsolutely normal. Just what could be a reason to be happy?"
Adeline stopped her steps and looked at Rebyano. "If I hadn't been run over by you, I wouldn't have gotten this nametag." Then the nametag was stored in his sling bag.
"You're so happy that I got hit? Do I have to hit you to keep you happy?" ask her with gestures that want to nudge Adeline using her shoulders. But his intentions were broken. His right hand, previously hidden in a trouser pocket, is now used to embrace Adeline's shoulder.
Adeline was shifted from her previous position on the right, now to the left after Rebyano pulled her body so as not to be hit by a motor that passed at high speed beside them.
"Is that guy crazy? Didn't you see anyone standing here?" oceh Adeline stared at the empty road that the biker had passed.
"It has. Let's walk again, it's almost late at night" said Rebyano pointing to the bright moon above them.
Their journey continues. Adeline's small steps make Rebyano a little anxious because usually with a big step it takes a few minutes for Rebyano to get to the destination.
Rebyano deliberately invites Adeline to go home. Not because there is no transportation, but want to talk more.
"Before working in my shop, what kind of work experience did you have?" asked Rebyano suddenly.
Adeline thought hard to answer. What work has Ayline done Adeline clearly does not know. Even one of the jobs he had once done in his home world came to his mind all of a sudden. "Clean up horse dung," he replied in a small voice out of embarrassment and doubt.
Although the sound was very small but with Rebyano's clear hearing, he could still hear it. "Cleaning horse shit? You ever do that?" tanyanya made sure with a little laugh.
"You don't laugh, I'm ashamed." Adeline covered her face with both palms.
Rebyano's expression instantly returned flat. "others? I saw you deliver a buyer's order without anyone falling down."
Adeline opened her palm. "I told you I was once a babu what's a job?" tanyakanya.
"Grey?" Rebyano was confused by that word. "You mean a housekeeper?"
Now alternate the confused Adeline. Adeline doesn't know what a housekeeper is. "Helper without pay" he explained in a language that was easier to understand.
Rebyano. "You ever work without pay? Why do you want to work with bad people?"
Adeline covered her lips. He was confused on how to explain it. He also did not feel good to hear the word bad man. Because what can be meant by that word is the King or his biological father.
"Emmm... That's not what it means." Adeline scratched her non-itchy neck. "I deliver breakfast, lunch, and dinner for three months without pay. Like those. There are no bad people."
"Then? You volunteered to do it?"
Adeline nodded. "It was because I made a mistake, so I had to volunteer to do it all."
"You're weird," said Rebyano making Adeline just a clumsy smile.
Rebyano won't understand Adeline's intentions.
A grocery store that was still open made Adeline stop her steps. Good chance for him to switch the conversation at this time. "I'll be there first." Adeline pointed at the stall. "From here my house is near. If we split up here now it's okay" he continued.
Rebyano. "I'll take you to your front."
The man very much kept his promise to protect Adeline during the return trip.
"Wait a minute there. I won't buy the things I want to buy for long" Adeline said, pointing to a long bench made of wood in front of the shop.
Rebyano obeys Adeline's orders. The man sat quietly on the wooden chair that Adeline had pointed to earlier. His legs are straightened to relieve a slight soreness.
This territory that was quite foreign to Rebyano was a sight that caught in Rebyano's eyes. The quiet and dark region made the anxiety for Adeline's safety in the future arise suddenly in her heart.
A lot of evil that could have happened here when the atmosphere was like this. Rebyano fears that the crime happened to the woman he knows better by name is Ayline. But Ayline is just a name. Rebyano was actually worried about Adeline's figure who he thought was a little innocent.
Too much thought in a few minutes waiting for Adeline shopping, so Rebyano is not aware if Adeline is now sitting next to him.
"Make you," said Adeline as she offered a bottle of fizzy drink whose lid had been opened.
Rebyano received the drink. "Thank you" he said.
After Rebyano gulped down half a bottle of the fizzy drink, they resumed their way to Ayline's house which had already begun to be seen.
Now they stopped their steps simultaneously in front of the white fence that was still locked.
Agatha quickly paid the online taxi service to the man who delivered her here safely.
"Rebyano?"
Not the first Adeline that was called, Agatha was precisely the wrong focus with Rebyano who was still standing next to Adeline.
Rebyano nodded then smiled. "Hi mba."
Agatha hit Rebyano's arm slowly. "Mr, mba. Call me queen!"
"Good frog queen."
Both laughed cheerfully. While Adeline can only listen with a thin smile. Adeline doesn't know what the relationship is between them so they can talk like friends who have met for more than ten years.
"Lo's gapain here? What's the same business with me?" ask Agatha who is now a mediator between Rebyano and Adeline.
"Just nganterin Ayline got home safely. Oh yeah Ayline now works at Al's shop."
Agatha was surprised not to play. "Huh? How come? How's story? How come your parents hired Ayline?"
"Long the story, tha," Adeline replied with her sweet smile which was now stared in awe by Agatha.
"Lo is now arrogant have not stopped by my store again, so do not know if my store now rame until need more people to help manage the store," rebyano's words made Agatha change her facial expression to become annoyed.
The laptop that was in his hand was directly embraced by Agatha. "Gue is busy" he said, tapping his index finger on the laptop.
"May be really busy soon. Not busy doing anything" said Rebyano.
An irritated look on Agatha's face added. The laptop he hugged was almost used to hit Rebyano. "Negotch mulu lo."
"I don't care" he said. "I'm good for Agatha?" ask Adeline.
Adeline simply nodded while smiling as her answer.
"Him-my. Like you guys in your style of speaking," pouted Agatha for Rebyano.
Rebyano pulled the tip of her lips slightly upwards, resulting in a faint laugh. "Like me."
"Sorry, do you guys still want to talk here?" adeline asked while confirming the large plastic that wrapped the tobacco she bought earlier. The shoot was quite heavy. Adeline can be sore if you still have to wait for the two people in front of her to chat. "If I am, uh I am, uh ah me or I want to go first into the house."
Agatha and Rebyano finally realized with Adeline that was actually not happy to ask like that.
"Ah lo anyway invite me to chat mulu," Agatha told Rebyano who did not accept to be considered guilty. Agatha immediately moved to open the fence of the house.
Adeline looked at Rebyano. "Thank you for bringing me safely here."
"Dadah Rebyano, see you sometime if I'm not busy" said Agatha who stood on the fence. His hand waved as a farewell greeting to Rebyano then waved as a sign of invitation to Adeline. "Come in, lin!"
"Let me take that inside." Rebyano stopped Adeline from entering the house. He pointed at the large plastic containing the sembako that Adeline was carrying.
Adeline shakes. "No need, Rebyano. I can."
"You just bring this," continued Rebyano while offering a package of food given by the mother of the shop owner who previously did not allow Adeline to go home immediately after cleaning the store tables. During the trip Rebyano was the one who brought the food.
Agatha returned to walk over to the two people who had just met a few hours ago. "Here let me take it," he said by taking over the groceries from Adeline's sling.
Adeline can bring her own. But the two people in front of him were simply too pampering him.
"Come in, lin!"
Adeline receives a meal made by her mother Rebyano. "Thank you again. Careful home, Rebyano. We meet again tomorrow at the store."
The nod and smile from Rebyano made Adeline smile. "I'm saying goodbye. Good night," she said to Adeline in a soft, soft voice.
Slowly Rebyano's feet stepped back. His hands were raised to wave at the woman who was staring at him flat. "Gue's home, tha. Good nights!" his farewell to Agatha with a slight shout.
"Be careful!" reply Agatha who was also slightly shouting.
The separation between three people who now know each other looks so dramatic. The bright moon up there was also a silent witness to the beginning of the closeness of the relationship of the three.
