ADELINES
The chaos at the Al Store

Some dishes containing food ordered by large-bodied people were transported by Daryata. While Adeline who was behind him brought a few glasses of drinks that were also ordered by those people.

Adeline's head was firmly staring straight ahead according to the orders of Daryata. So Adeline doesn't see anything underneath.

One of the legs of the big body was suddenly straightened to the side making Adeline who did not see so stumbled.

Byurs!

All the glasses containing the drink fell right on the table where there was one of the young men who was protected by the big-bodied men.

Everything stands up. The young man who protected his suit was forced to be doused by the drink he ordered.

"Hey you!" One of the large-bodied men near Adeline immediately reprimanded in a loud voice.

Adeline's scared isn't playing. But Adeline was helped back by one of the big men. Adeline looked up at the man, it turned out that the man was someone who had been watching him.

Rebyano's footsteps quickly carried Rebyano's body up beside Adeline. "You're gapapa?" she asked with her hand cupping Adeline's arm.

Adeline shakes. "I'm fine."

"How is this?!" One of the big-bodied men who had reprimanded Adeline came back with her voice. "You don't get dirty at work!"

Adeline's head is down. His thumb rubbed back indicating his heartbeat was beating unbecoming. Rebyano rubbed Adeline's arm gently.

"We apologize deeply. We will replace everything with a new one yes, sir," said Daryata while bowing his body.

"Wait a minute!" All focused his attention on the young man who was now taking off his wet suit.

Adeline looked up at the man. Adeline tried to remember the familiar face of the man.

Adeline remembered. The man was an injured man with his eyes closed on a gurney pushed by hospital nurses on the day Adeline was allowed to go home.

"Aren't you going to apologize to me?" ask the man to Adeline. "You did this wrong, you should apologize. I won't forgive you if you don't apologize."

Adeline's teary eyes looked at Rebyano's ever-shady eyes staring at her.

"Quick apologize!" The large-bodied man whose voice was loud immediately pulled Adeline violently to get closer to the young man she was protecting.

The large-bodied man who was staring at Adeline without blinking immediately released the grip of the man's hand from Adeline's hand. "She's a girl" he said firmly defending Adeline.

Adeline, who was in the middle between two large-bodied men, just silently forced herself to focus on apologizing to men who were quite the same age as her who was in front of her.

Slowly, Adeline's legs weakened so that Adeline sat on the floor. "I'm sorry" he said with both palms tied together to ask for forgiveness.

"Nline..." Rebyano could not bear to see Adeline like that. The movement that wanted to help Adeline stood stifled. Because the big man who defended Adeline first helped Adeline to stand up.

"Don't apologize like that, Ayline," whispered the man who helped Adeline stand up.

Adeline looked at the man with a sad look. His tears almost fell, but Adelin rubbed his eyes first.

"I'm sorry, I'll take responsibility for everything" Adeline told the young man in front of her who was smiling sideways.

"This time I'm sorry. If you are like this again, I will not hesitate to hit you even though you are a girl. Understand?!" said the young man with his arrogant fight.

Adeline nodded. "Once again I'm sorry."

"Yes now replace everything with a new one!" the young man's orders.

They sit back. Daryata cleaned the table that was flooded by Adeline's spilled drink. While Adeline and Rebyano brought glasses that fortunately did not break back towards the kitchen.

The kitchen curtains were opened by Adeline. The shop owner's mother is seen standing while looking down in front of the sink.

"Mother.." - Adeline called out to Gita with fear.

The closer the Gita steps forward, the more Adeline's heart becomes - so it beats not because of her.

"Whoa, everyone will make mistakes." Not a curse given, Gita instead gave a sedative sentence to Adeline.

Both of Gita's hands were opened wide allowing Adeline to enter into her arms. Without a doubt Adeline immediately approached the Gita and immediately hugged her after placing a tray on top of which there are glasses earlier near the sink.

"Not to be afraid, Ayline." Gita rubbed Adeline's back gently.

Adeline let go of that hug first. "I'm helping you make a new drink, ma'am," Adeline pleaded.

Gita nodded. "Let's help mom."

Adeline helps Gita arrange a few clean glasses on the tray. Gita deftly opened the instant drink powder that had been placed in each place.

The curtains were opened slightly by Rebyano. "There's a new order of two extra fried chicken rice equal two ice tea, ma'am," he told Gita who was still stirring the drinks.

The spoon in Gita's hand was handed over to Adeline. "You stir the two, yes" he said, pointing to two drinks that had not been stirred.

In a hurry Adeline immediately stirred the two drinks earlier. Then the spoon he used was immediately placed in the sink when the two drinks were perfectly stirred. "It's over, ma'am."

"So soon I'll call you first." Gita leaves Adeline in the kitchen. Gita immediately approached Daryata who mopped the floor around the table of the people. Then Daryata turned her head as Gita patted her shoulder. "You delivered the new drink."

Daryata nodded. The mop in his hand was immediately lifted.

"Wait a minute." The young man got up from his seat. Daryata and Gita who had just turned around immediately stopped their steps. "I want the woman who delivered a new drink here" he continued.

Gita looked at her husband with a hinting look to refuse. But Daryata closed his eyes one second hinting that everything would be fine.

"good. All will be delivered by my son," Daryata replied to make a large-bodied man who defended Adeline was looking at him with an annoyed look. "Excuse me," said Daryata immediately embrace his wife with one hand.

Adeline who is still loyal to keep the new drink is now turning to the direction of Gita and Daryata who entered the room.

"You'll drop the drink back there, Ayline." Gita rubs Adeline's arm.

Daryata washed her hands after putting the mop cloth into a bucket filled with water. "Father will be behind you to accompany. You don't have to be afraid, as usual, like delivering someone else's order," he said, smiling calmly.

Adeline nodded. Trays on which there are new drinks were immediately lifted by Adeline. Then Adeline walked out of the room was followed by Daryata.

At first it was normal, but the closer Adeline steps to the destination table to make her heartbeat start beating no longer. His hand suddenly trembled making the tray he was holding sway slightly.

Now his footsteps stopped in front of the people's table. Carefully Adeline landed the tray on the table. Then Adeline put the glasses one by one onto those people. Only then did his heart calm down when the last glass was properly placed in front of the young man. "Good fun" said Adeline, bowing slightly.

Those people just looked at him flatly then switched his focus to the food and drink in front of him.

Daryata turned around to make Adeline also turn around to leave the table. But behind Adeline, the big-bodied man who defended Adeline was walking in the steps of Daryata and Adeline. Adeline who was aware of the person also looked back a little. The man smiled at him making Adeline's hair stand up.

The man broke away to the cashier from Adeline who was approaching the finished order table. "How much is it?" ask Rebyano who immediately handed over their order receipt. A few pieces of red money were instantly removed from the black wallet he had in hand after seeing the total order to be paid. "The rest is for the restitution that Ayline spilled earlier."

Rebyano stared confusedly at the man. He wondered how the man knew the name of the woman who spilled the drink.

The man immediately moved closer to Adeline who was still loyal in front of the order table so after getting a new payment receipt from Rebyano. The man took out a card from his suit pocket and extended it to Adeline. "This is a new number, Dad. Call me if you have time, son. I miss you, Ayline."

The confused Adeline looked at the man whose eyes were shady as if holding back her cries. With no heart Adeline received the man's business card.

"Take care of yourself, son," said Agra Akandra whose name along with the address of residence, telephone number, and email address are listed on the business card held by Adeline.

After that Agra stepped back leaving Adeline who gave no response. Adeline is still digesting what the man meant.

"What is that, Ayline?" ask Gita who brought someone else's order from inside the kitchen.

Adeline shook her head while smiling. The business card was directly inserted into his apron pouch. Then Adeline refocuses herself to work on ushering in someone else's new order by forgetting the confusing events that just happened.
