Chapter 101 – Shiori's Past

[The Past ]

In a green, secluded, and full of huge trees are seen sharing unusual houses and buildings in the place. The place is very beautiful as in a fairyland where only fairies and angels live there.

And it is not wrong to mention it as there are so many beautiful women living there and they are as beautiful as fairies. And the most beautiful of them was the beautiful girl who became the daughter of the Shori family and that was the young Shiori.

Just then, he was chatting merrily with Mother Riyu who happened to come to talk to her father.

“How's aunty?”

Shiori asked for her opinion after she finished playing the violin.  It seemed that he was trying to compare himself to someone when seen from the look in his eyes that seemed to want to prove something.

“That's a nice game little Shiori. But it was still lacking when compared to Riyu.”

“Really?”

“Yes, but if you play together it will be very beautiful. Auntie hope aunt can hear it.”

Apparently, before Shiori played the violin, she got an appraisal from Riyu's mother and compared it to her son.

And the over-loving mother of course continued to praise her son, saying that he was the best musician, musical genius, and so on that made little Shiori look annoyed.

But mother Riyu looked indifferent with Shiori's expression as she explained how amazing her son was, like a mother in general. Or maybe not?

"I gave up aunt. Is Riyu really that amazing at playing music?"

“Oh, do you think your beautiful aunt is lying. Do you want to see the footage?”

“Is there?”

“Ya, come here, we will listen to it together.”

Out of curiosity, Shiori walked up to Mother Riyu then sat down beside her accepting the offer.

Riyu's mother was not satisfied with that so she lifted him up and placed him on her lap.

Once comfortable enough, Ms. Riyu plays the video recording while Riyu is playing the piano.

And that was the first time little Shiori saw the face of Riyu, the person her aunt always told her about, a name that always annoyed her.

Riyu back then still did not have a warm expression, but it still still made a little girl like Shiori seem amazed.

A beautiful melody sounded as the video played and it made little Shiori as she gasped and glowed as if she was looking at her idol. The longer he listened, the more amazed and enjoyed him.

When her piano tone ended, she felt her feelings turbulent and without her noticing that was when she felt, she felt,

Falling in love at first sight.

A few days passed while Mother Riyu was still living in the Shori Family and she had several conversations with Shiori. Of course Mother Riyu did not waste the opportunity to bring home the little daughter-in-law as she continuously told about how great her son was.

And it made little Shiori affected by her teachings so she started to really fall in love, even though she had not met him in person yet.

“That aunt... a-didn't Riyu already have a girlfriend?”

“Oh, what is this. What our little princess is starting to fall in love.”

“Bu-no, a-i..”.

Shiori lowered her head in embarrassment at his question.

“Riyu has a woman she likes, her name is Mei.”

“Be-so.”

Shiori said disappointedly after hearing that. But Mother Riyu continued.

“But. In the future, Mei may not be the only one that Ryu will love. If you want to be his wife you can do it.”

“Bi-can?”

“Sure,” Mother Riyu smiled gently as she rubbed Shiori's hair then said calmly, ”because you might be one of her ‘Benang Fate’.
