Chapter 21 - Giving the Ring

After Yami separated from Riyu, she started looking for her friend to relieve some of her pain. He could have held it, but it felt a little uncomfortable.

He was looking for his friend because he was one of the best healers he knew.

His friend was in a special dormitory in Yozora Academy. It was a quiet dormitory with clean air, and a hint of a natural aura. Many medicinal plants are grown around the dormitory, as well as several types of trees that make the environment cool. Only by coming here would one feel that his body was getting healthier.

“Yami? What the hell's going on? Did you fight with someone?”

A beautiful girl opened the door, shocked to see Yami had some bruises. The woman had long light green hair, almost waist-length. Her beauty was almost the same as Mei's, it was just that she gave off a pure aura like nature.

“Yes, I have a little fight with the heir of the Akaasa Family.”

“Akasa Family?”

Scarlet POV.

This morning I got a message from my boss. He said that the transfer student he told me about had arrived at the school early in the morning.

I'm very upset because it's still morning, but I don't have a choice.

After I finished giving him a little lesson, we went to class. When she said that Mei was her boyfriend, I felt a little sour, and jealous?

When Mei and I separated from Yami, we continued our journey to MV Laboratory.

He wasn't angry about it, even if he was angry, I would accept it because it was something he shouldn't say, at least not yet.

Maya turns her expression serious then she immediately takes us to one of the rooms.

[One Room In The Lab ]

When I got to my destination, I took out a box in my hand, opened it and gave it to me in May. It was a silver-colored ring with some Aksara carvings.

"Do you... want to propose to me?"

I just smiled at his response.

"What do you think?"

Mei shook her head.

“No, from your expression this is not about that. Is there anything important about that?

I nodded and smiled, quite amazed by his sharpness.

"Let me put this ring on first."

I took one of Mei's hands gently, then placed the ring on her ring finger.

“Put your fingerprint there.”

Mei did as I instructed. After which, a holographic screen appeared in front of him. On the screen was written several items, one of which was the [Purple Lightning Sword].

He looked at me, then I nodded giving him instructions to touch the writing, the instant the purple sword appeared in his hand.

"Katana's? Is this what you want to give?"

"Yes.”

I began to put on a serious expression and explained the reason, ranging from what I felt to my suspicion towards my grandfather's attitude. I also said that I wanted to train him so that we could prepare for whatever was to come.

Mei listened seriously.

"That's how it is, I hope you can stay safe even if I'm not with you. What say?"

Mei started thinking then she averted her eyes, looking at me seriously.

“I hope your suspicions are wrong, but it never hurts to train seriously. Anyway, I don't want to worry you either."
