Chapter 5: Anomalous Affairs Agency
Raezha walked home to the boarding house in a condition still somewhat dizzy and tired. Arriving at Raezha's boarding house, he went straight to the boarding house and closed the door tightly.
Raezha sat on the floor and thought what the strange man said in his "dream.
“What does it mean to find out about anomalies? And what does it mean about 'truth?' I was confused by who my parents even made dizzy again by a strange person who appeared in my dreams.”
Raezha becomes confused but also curious about the words thrown by a strange person in his "dream.
Raezha took his smartphone in his pocket, then he looked at the clock on the smartphone.
“It's 9 o'clock, I don't know what to do again.”
Raezha was really confused about what else to do, not whether to find a place to apply for work again or delay until his legs healed....
In the end 1 week later or on September 20, 2017 Raezha is completely financially empty and already has no money, really finan-"shit". Although the injury to his right knee has improved enough, Raezha still does not know where to find work again, if he does not get a job soon he will be expelled by the owner of the boarding house because this is the second month Raezha is in arrears.
As Raezha was sitting pondering on the floor, there was the sound of knocking on the door and someone calling his name in a familiar voice.
TOK, TOK, TOK, TOK, TOK.
“Raezha!” Call the guy while knocking on the door.
“Yes! Who the hell is coming?” Raezha stood up and walked to the door and opened the door.
A tall man in full uniform and beside the sleeves of a jacket bearing the words "BARUNO" and in front of his jacket bearing the "Anomaly Investigation Division" with a shield and claw emblem stood right in front of Raezha. Who else if not Herlambang Yudhoyono.
“O-oh sir Herlambang, what's up here?” Raezha asked quite curious.
“Don't I tell you that time that I'll meet you to take you to the headquarters of the Anomaly Affairs Agency.” Said Herlambang casually.
“Should it now?” Ask Raezha again.
“Iya, now just follow me to the car.”
Raezha decides to go with Herlambang hoping that he will get a monetary reward to add to his wallet. Before leaving Raezha locked the boarding door and followed Herlambang to a black SUV parked on the side of the road. Obviously the car is not an ordinary car because it has been modified.
Raezha got into the car as did Herlambang who entered through the driver's door.
Herlambang started the car and drove away from Raezha's boarding house to the headquarters of the Anomaly Affairs Agency in Central Jakarta.
“This trip will take about 1 hour more, so just relax enjoy the view of the city.” Reveal Herlambang while driving a car.
The trip was far enough just to take Raezha to the headquarters of the Anomaly Affairs Agency in Central Jakarta. Raezha grabs her smartphone from her pocket, Raezha looks at her smartphone while leaning against the car door.
After walking for 1 hour they arrived at the headquarters of the Anomaly Affairs Agency in Central Jakarta.
Raezha and Herlambang get out of the car after parking their car, Herlambang guides Raezha into the base.
The headquarters of the Anomalous Affairs Agency looks more like a corporate office than a headquarters.
“Why does BARUNO headquarters look more like an office place?” Raezha asked as he walked following Herlambang.
“Because this is where officials and higher-ups give command, while research centers and anomalous cells are in different places. Not funny if suddenly there is an anomaly that escaped from the cell and attacked the citizens of Jakarta. You think this headquarters will look like TNI headquarters?” Reply Herlambang casually while walking towards the elevator.
The two of them continued walking and went upstairs through the elevator. The two of them reached the upper floor and continued walking towards a room. A room on the door reads "Chairman/Head Room".
They both stopped at the door of the room. Then Herlambang knocked on the door several times and then came the sound of commands from inside the room.
Herlambang opened the door slowly then entered simultaneously followed by Raezha behind him.
The man sitting on the chair stopped writing on the paper. “Oh Herlambang, so this is the young man you mean? I'm curious about him.” The man who was the head of BARUNO stood up from his chair.
Herlambang and Raezha stand in front of the BARUNO head desk. In the headwear of BARUNO is written the name "Andhika Pratama".
“Include me is Andika Pratama, chairman or chief chief of Anomaly Affairs Agency.” Andhika.
“Meet me is Raezha, only one who is looking for work.” Reply Raezha casually but with a flat expression.
“So just go straight to Raezha, Herlambang has already told you that you are experiencing 'dreams' that are directly connected to the real world.” Andhika.
“Ya, and one week ago or rather when I was interrogated by Mr. Herlambang, I again experienced the dream but different.” Reply Raezha flatly.
“Oh so? Please explain the details.” Pinta Andhika as she continued to stare at Raezha.
Raezha also told Andhika about the "dream" he experienced 1 week ago. Andhika who heard the story from Raezha was interested and also curious.
“Interesting, so that weird black guy in your 'dream' admitted instantly that he was part of an anomaly. I think you'll be a useful subject.” Andhika. “So son of Raezha, would you care if you were part of BARUNO? Are you still looking for a job, too? Want to?” Andhika offers Raezha a job.
Obviously this is a rare offer and Raezha without thinking immediately accepted it. “Well I received!” Raezha is excited.
Andhika smiles. “Good, now you are part of the anomaly investigation division with Herlambang Yudhoyono as your mentor and partner.”
“But hehehe.... Can I get a salary now, right? The cost of where I live is 2 months, sir. ” Pinta Raezha while grinning.
Andhika and Herlambang laughed a little. “Please, now your entire cost of living has been borne by BARUNO.” Andhika.
“Thank you sir Andhika!” Raezha replied happily.
“Then in 1 week then make sure that you are ready to run your first investigation.”
Raezha and Herlambang came out of Andhika's room, then they walked downstairs through the elevator and passed a woman who looked the same age as Raezha.
“Why Raezha?” Ask Herlambang.
“She's like the same age as me.” Raezha said as he looked at the woman walking away.
“She does look the same age as you, but she is already 28 years old.” Herlambang.
“S-seriously?! Didn't know if there was a cake.”
Raezha and Herlambang walk out of the base heading to the car. Herlambang also drove Raezha back to the boarding house.
“Raezha, do you have a suit?” Ask Herlambang before Raezha gets out of the car.
Raezha turned to look at Herlambang and answered him. “Yes I have my former grandfather, why?” Ask Raezha back.
“Good, wear it later on Sunday. Also take this as your allowance, next time just call me Yudo.” Herlambang gave money of two hundred thousand rupiah to Raezha.
“Thank you very much Mr Yudo!" Raezha said happily.
“Ya equally, I go first yes!” Raezha leaves the car and Herlambang leaves Raezha walking to his boarding house.
