Chapter 8: Anomaly
Raezha followed Herlambang to the shooting field area. But Raezha stopped asking Herlambang.
“Yudo, you said fit on the plane you'd take me to see the anomalies in this facility.”
Herlambang stopped walking and turned to Raezha. “Oh yes, I forgot about that. What if we saw an anomaly just to the firing range?”
“Yaudah, let me mah.”
Raezha and Herlambang postpone their journey to the shooting range and replace it by going to a cell facility that secures and confines the anomaly.
They arrived at the room guarded by two heavily armed soldiers. “ID Card.” The soldier's orders.
Herlambang stopped with Raezha stopping behind him. Then Herlambang took out an identity card and showed it to the soldier.
“Now you are in the back. Why are you carrying a gun?” Ask the soldier cynically.
“Luck him my new member, earlier I wanted to take him to the shooting range to practice but I forgot about my promise to show him an anomaly.” Said Herlambang casually.
The soldier looks at Raezha. “Hey son, be careful when looking at caged anomalies. Don't make trouble and follow the absolute rules inside there.” The two soldiers opened the door and let Raezha and Herlambang in. “Please enter.”
Herlambang returned his identity card into his pocket and then entered into a long corridor followed by Raezha behind Herlambang.
After walking for a while they saw a confinement room that said "ANM-023 'Pembacok' (B)". Below it is written an explanation of the anomaly.
"ANM-023 (B) or by the common name of 'Reader' is a hazard-type anomaly and should be avoided or hidden from it. Anomaly 'Pembacok' is a monster with the characteristics and behavior of a reader who is doing brawl. This anomaly will always appear in a narrow place that has never been glimpsed or seen by people and at certain times it will immediately kill the lives of people passing in its place. Here's a feature if anomalies are all around you...."
“One-length explanation...”.
“So, what is this anomaly that visited your 'dream'?” Ask Herlambang.
“Not him, this anomaly is a temporary monster that is in my dream like a human figure.”
“Like a human figure yes.... Looks like this will be an interesting case and investigation.”
Herlambang and Raezha again walked and saw many anomalies locked up in special cells that are very tight, also they saw some researchers who are recording every anomaly that is locked up.
Then Raezha stopped in a cage that caught his attention. Through a very thick and strong glass, Raezha saw the contents of the cage but he saw nothing in it. Even so Raezha still feels in the cage there are creatures.
Then Raezha saw the explanation of the anomaly that was beside the cage.
"ANM-017 (KS) or more commonly known as 'death eye' is a special type anomaly that is very dangerous and can attack anyone who looks at it. As the name suggests, this anomaly consists of only one eyeball. This anomaly will appear without any sign of its appearance. So far this anomaly will only appear in a dark place or the electricity somewhere goes out resulting in the area becoming pitch black. IF YOU'VE BEEN STARED AT BY THIS ANOMALY THEN YOU WON'T HAVE A CHANCE TO SURVIVE BECAUSE EVERYONE STARED AT BY IT WILL INSTANTLY DIE ON THE SPOT, AND NEVER ONCE IN A WHILE STARE AT IT!!!"
“What is 'KS' code'? I've never been horrified.” Raezha asked and turned to Herlambang.
“So out there are still special level anomalies still hanging around?” Ask Raezha again.
“Yes, more precisely the unidentified. Maybe there are more out there, even though we've got some of their features. Better we continue walking, never stare at the anomaly.” Herlambang continued walking in the corridor.
While Raezha still sees the anomaly "Eye of Death". After a long time staring at the anomaly, Raezha went after Herlambang which was already some distance away.
Raezha managed to catch up to Herlambang and spoke to Herlambang while walking.
“I guess once every anomaly would be put in a special cage for each level.” Reveal Raezha while looking into the anomalous confinement.
“No, in this one corridor contains various types of anomalies. BARUNO still finds it difficult to examine the behavioral traits of each anomaly to put them on a certain level. Sometimes anomalous behavior traits can change and cannot be identified the cause of the change.” Herlambang continued walking.
After a long time of looking at the anomaly, they exited the corridor and went towards the firing range.
Arriving at the shooting range, Herlambang immediately taught the basics about shooting using a firearm on Raezha.
Herlambang teaches Raezha seriously but also a little relaxed, Raezha can quickly master the basics of firearms and shoot on target.

“You're too down, you know I got an order from the BARUNO center to investigate anomalous cases under the name 'Trisula'. BARUNO said that this is a newly discovered anomaly and is on the coast of Kemala.”
“So when does the mission start?” Raezha asked curiously while holding his weapon.
“Besok.” Answer Herlambang.
“Kalo so I want to call ma kos bentar.” Raezha put his gun on the table, then he went to a rather quiet place and started calling the boarding house.
Raezha calls the boarding house to tell her that he is going on his first mission, Raezha asks the boarding house mom to take the key she kept in the flower pot so the boarding house mom keeps it.
Raezha returned to Herlambang. “Already.”
“Ok further. So our investigation into the 'Trisula' anomaly is a bit difficult because we have to find it quickly or there will be more casualties. It seems like what I said earlier, the location of the anomaly was last seen on Kemala beach. So we'll be there tomorrow.” Herlambang.
“Ok.... But still wear this shirt?” Ask Raezha again.
