Chapters. 20 Treating Wounds

Qin Chen smiled with satisfaction at hearing it, how they laughed off despite yesterday's astonishing circumstances. And tonight, they actually had a long beautiful dream without worrying about any disturbance from the zombies. Therefore, he smiled considering the events out there were very messing with his eyes.

Captain Yang Xi, he was in front of Commander Jiang Ta talking about something. "Anyway, captain. I want you to immediately bring Qin Chen to get treatment immediately. He's got a pretty big cut on his chest for saving us all from a new zombie mutation, the full data I'm going to tell you in the morning."

"Good job, you're back alive." Captain Yang Xi patted him on the shoulder, "As soon as you go to the medical room, I will take Qin Chen to another medical room for treatment." Further.

"Thank you, I'll be with the members directly to the medical room." He said, he paid his respects to Yang Xi.

Then, he came to Qin Chen's place. Qin Chen was sitting on the bench sipping a soft drink. "Why are you here? Your job isn't done, is it?" Said Qin Chen by asking Yang Xi.

"Tasks can be set aside. Now come with me to the medical room to get treatment, I've heard from the Commander that you've got a big wound, and you've only got first aid. Don't break it, because you're on duty because of me, I'll take responsibility when you get hurt."

His hand was directly in Yang Xi's grasp without being able to let go. Even Qin Chen had not had the chance to make a sentence to refute, and Qin Chen was immediately taken to the medical tent. Once there, he went inside and was asked to sit on the patient's bed.

Yang Xi simply kept quiet in embarrassment, and directly helped Qin Chen take off his clothes. Qin Chen held back his embarrassment while peeking at the red hue on Yang Xi's cheek, he smiled as he let out a thin laugh to avoid being heard. After his shirt was removed, he found that there was a bandage that had turned blood red because the wound was severe enough to keep his blood out.

"How did you get this wound?" Nervously asking, he could not yet believe that Qin Chen could withstand it.

"I'm fighting a new mutation zombie, he's a High Orc Mutant. His strength, speed and endurance were terrifying, fortunately I had some experience fighting the mutations beneath him. But it can't compensate for it and get this wound as a victory."

Yang Xi sighed, looking for the place where the P3K box is usually used. After that, he helped carefully remove the bandage, and finding the wound really big made him feel guilty asking Qin Chen out.

"During treatment, you are not allowed to move. And stay in this place until you're cured." He said, he spoke firmly.

Then, he took out a wet cloth to clean the dirt in the wound. Qin Chen felt like dying as his heartbeat skipped a beat until it was heard in his ears. But Yang Xi was only silent because she was embarrassed, and did not want to say enough.

"Are you going to go out of the camp? Because your job is over." Yang Xi asked as she cleaned her wound.

"Yes, because that's the first goal I set." Qin Chen spoke as he looked at her, he knew that Yang Xi wanted to keep her from leaving the refugee camp. "Tomorrow, before morning I will leave this place."

Yang Xi stopped cleaning her wound, she picked up the bandage without looking into her eyes. "so." He said he wrapped it with bandages around his body.

Qin Chen just silently looked forward to it, until where Yang Xi had already helped Qin Chen replace his wound bandage. "Rest me, I'll go back to my room for a sudden assignment." He said he closed the box and hurried out of the tent without saying anything to her.

The next morning, inside the captain's tent, the commander was standing and giving reports of his days of searching for supplies out there.

"Did he contribute so much? What about the mutation that the commander said just now? Qin Chen said there was only one way against it, Ballistic Missile." He said, he asked curiously.

"I can't be sure yet, because the weapons used now can't penetrate its defenses. But from the glare of his eyes was very serious signifying that he was not lying with it. But there are a lot of strange things that keep in mind by me and the other members."

"Say."

Commander Jiang Ta turned his head to the side, "About the supply cart we brought. I can confirm that it weighs almost the same as a tank. But I can pull it easily, and the other members can pull two carts that are the equivalent of two public vehicles. The other weirdness is, the accuracy of Qin Chen shooting is not an ordinary ability, he's like getting special training about this, because I've already observed it."

"And all I can say is that he's very mysterious. All his actions I cannot understand well, every time I see him. I was terrified, as if there was a terrible existence compared to the mutations we've encountered." He said, he explained what was on his mind to Yang Xi.

"If the commander has said that, I will look for him. Although I'm curious, I just want to make sure of a few things about this." Yang Xi made a sound, he made the commander silent therefore Yang Xi and Qin Chen couldn't possibly reject him.

"If there's nothing I can do, I'll go back to the post." He said, he came out of the tent where Yang Xi was.

"Qin Chen's? Who are you." He muttered, he smiled faintly as he stared at the reports he got from each of the members who came out.

While in his place, he was lying where Qin Yu was beside him peeling fruits for Qin Chen. "I told you, right? Don't come out because you could get hurt, but Chen Gege was very stubborn when he said it." Qin Yu was furious and annoyed at Qin Chen for going out to the city to look for supplies.

"Don't worry about it, I can be cured in a few days." He said he raised his hand to show his cool body with a magnificent appearance of golden-eyed black hair.

"Chen Gege just pretended to be strong in front of him, so what? Getting a chance to date Captain Yang Xi? Or get a suprise reward, for completing the task."

Qin Chen froze helplessly saying anything, everything was in Qin Yu's speech. About the purpose and how he was going to get his main prize, but yesterday he only gained a feeling of guilt for making Yang Xi feel that Qin Chen only existed for a moment.
