Chapters. 27 Robbing a Bank Is an Investment

The next morning— all the members of the special forces gathered in front of the main gate, they made a tribute to Qin Chen. Although he was not a member of the special forces, the contributions he made to the camp and their members were so numerous that they could not be counted. All of that made the people back there curious, as it was not usual for special forces members to officially gather in front of the main gate.

Everything was waiting, Qin Chen came out along with Qin Yu. He spent the night with Yang Xi in his room, making a strong bond to keep her in remembrance forever although in the end he might experience death out there.

Qin Yu behind him was silent, he looked at Yang Xi with hostility. "You got my leg all night, but next I'll get it. I let it go that night for Chen Gege, not for you, got it. Dan—" Qin Yu turned his face sideways timidly. "Thank you for taking me to camp, that's all."

Qin Yu hurriedly went to Qin Chen's side as embarrassment lingered beside Yang Xi. Yang Xi who heard that, she chuckled back there. "Once he seems, he's actually good just his Tsundere– nature makes him what he is now." He muttered, he felt lonely staring at Qin Chen.

Before they exited the room, Qin Chen drew his appearance on a sheet of paper for storage. Yang Xi accepted because it was the only item she could possibly remember for quite a long time without worrying about anything.

To where, he waved his hand before him. "Captain, I'll call you as soon as. Dan—" Qin Chen stalled for a moment staring at the corner of his tear-stained eyes. "Until we meet in the future." He continued, smiling as he slowly turned his face back.

"Qin Yu, we're leaving now." Qin Chen. He hurriedly left the place because he did not want to make any other memories in his heart, Yang Xi. He just had to remember his name and forget about everything that happened a few days together in this refugee camp. With that, his life would be very meaningful.

Both of them exited the main gate, it gave one person who was in the middle of the gate a still without moving. All the members of the special forces no one dared to disturb the mood of their captain, because it was the same as giving his life to the tiger.

"All members disband, and return to their respective posts." Said the Commander firmly to his members.

They hurriedly dispersed from the spot where Captain Yang Xi was still staring at his disappearance which slowly turned into a black dot before the sun that was shining into the refugee camp.

"Captain, there's something I want to report." Commander Jiang Ta saluted beside him, Yang Xi instantly changed his gaze.

"Thanks to the large walls that surrounded the camp, there was enough land to grow plants. And the murky lake in the west turned clear, maybe Qin Chen made it usable without anyone's knowledge. With the help of this, the people inside there could grow plants for them to eat."

"Good, gather everyone. I will pass this information on to them, that way the special forces will not bear their living expenses anymore. They can plant and harvest the produce to be eaten together, the supplies that the members gather will be used regularly for the future."

"Good, Captain."

Commander Jiang Ta hurriedly left the place while observing his already improved captain compared to staring at Qin Chen's departure. He returned to the tent by preparing to speak in front of the many people in the camp, it set his and Qin Chen's picture on a picture frame that he placed on his desk.

Meanwhile, Qin Chen and Qin Yu were heading towards the center of the red fog in the big city. The two of them stopped to meet, as Qin Yu a human in need of food and drink restored his depleted strength on the way.

"Chen Gege's. Am I gonna be okay getting into the center of the red fog? Since I'm human, it might turn into a zombie just like they were there." Qin Yu pointed to where the zombies were in the middle of wandering around the city.

"About that," Qin Chen was still looking for a way to bring Qin Yu inside. And it helps with the system to evaluate it, whether it can turn it into the same mutation as it. "When Chen Gege knows how, he'll say it. Now, you eat and drink as much as you can because we're in town, you can get a lot of food than you bring."

"Is that?" Qin Yu was happy, even though death was before his eyes. But with Qin Chen he felt that worry was just a meaningless dream for him.

Qin Yu nodded because it was a good plan, because no one knew the circumstances ahead. And keeping some of the wealth assets in the Apocalypse disaster is a long-term investment, where they keep the gold plundered somewhere for the future to come.

"As long as Qin Yu can be together with Chen Gege. Whatever I do, robbing the bank is no big deal to me." He said he was very serious.
