...—Eora Land, Ecasia— Republic...
...—17 September 1238—...
The evening sky stretched, the sun-red rays that would set once again rained down on a city with the most dense economic activity on the Eora plain.
Capital of Dorssels, one of the many cities located in the Administrative Region of the Capital of the Republic of Ecasia, a neutral territory without being influenced by one of the five major families who become the leader of the Republic of Ecasia alternately every 6 years.
Not far from the grand palace that rises majestically in the middle of the city, tension adorns a room in one of the large whitewashed mansions with open curtains that feature bright lantern lighting.
A young man of about 21 years old with sea-blue hair curled at the full unwillingness of the figure of a middle-aged man with almost the same physical features who was sitting before him.
Both dressed in white shirts that seemed neat, brownish luxury leather shoes also warmed each soles of their feet, laden with the luxury of appearance owned by a state official.
Hector de Levene, Head of the Levene Family and Chief Justice of the Republic of Ecasia.
Andres Levene, the rightful heir of the Levene Family and a military attache of the Republic of Ecasia.
The direction of the conversation felt increasingly runnyam, Andres had just received news from his father if he had a cousin, a leader of a large country that had just risen, Ares I.
If only that, Andres will not reveal his objections even though he only found out his aunt—his sister's father—married a noble man from another country.
The root cause of the two problems stems from their relationship with Lourentz. Even for Andres, who also had a younger cousin in the family, he would never give up the slightest bit of his guard against something Lourentz would do.
It has become common knowledge among state officials that if the Lourentz Family is a fox, all the political actions and steps that the family will take always seem devious, only beneficial to themselves.
"Dad, are you really going to cooperate with Lourentz?!" Andres took off the tone of respect for his father, as if not believing what pierced his two eardrums.
"Yes." Yeah." Hector replied firmly, not accepting the slightest rejection.
"But, if you—"
"Andres." Hector's resolutely impressed call made Andres momentarily speechless, "I've been out of touch with the Rueter Family ever since your aunt died in the past. Although Emperor Arestia is also my nephew, it is very risky to start a relationship with him. Also, we don't understand how genuine habits he has."
Hector recalls his past memories. His father, the Predecessor of the Levene Family Head, was someone who was often afflicted by many different diseases.
Various healers and medical experts have been brought in, almost from all corners of the world for the improvement of the health of the Father. Still, the bed where he lay sick as if never satisfied to accompany his daily life.
He had only one son who became the firstborn and two daughters, the succession of the House of Levene was decided clearly even without a single contradiction in the hearts of its successors when their predecessors left the world.
All members of the House of Levene, which at that time had been dashed by the hope for the safety of the Head of the Family, were dashed, hearing that across the sea there was a rich region that had a great variety of medicines and healers, Hector and his youngest sister left, and, heading towards the Rueter Region for the betterment of the health of the father whose blood also flowed within their veins.
For several weeks, the Head of the Family underwent treatment to gradually improve, although he was still only able to sit and lie on his bed. Even so, it has been felt enough to extend his age, just to satisfy the children who love him very much.
Even so with the Predecessor, he felt that making a good relationship with the House of Rueter was very important for his family. He really does not want when the child and his descendants suffer as well as with him who often experience severe pain.
The Predecessor gave his youngest daughter to marry Gido, hoping that the two families could be interconnected if one of them was hit by a major calamity.
Gido returns with Princess Bungsu, staying in touch with Levene's predecessor until his death picks up a few months after his daughter gets married.
Hearing the news that his brother had died right after his nephew was born, Hector was only able to send letters and condolences to his brother-in-law, it was very busy to take care of his country which was at that time being hit by six years of political turmoil because of the change of head of state.
Decades had passed, without sending a single letter for communication, Hector heard that great chaos was sweeping the land across the sea. He hopes that his nephew will be saved, thinking that Ares will leave his territory and seek asylum for the Levene Family.
Contrary to his expectations, Hector did not think that the source of the continental chaos across the sea came from his nephew, who even some time ago a fifth country had been conquered and was now under his nephew's two feet, causing Hector to become very wary of him.
A letter came from her biological sister who had now become the wife of the Lourentz Family Head, who was, he asked Hector to work together to once again open a relationship with their nephew after getting a proposal from the Kingdom of Gardom to attend the two-state conference.
Andres bit his lips, his right hand clenched tightly, unable to refute his father's words.
Not unlike the nature of Ares in the past before the transmigration of souls, Andres was a submissive child. Someone Hector loved more than his sister who has now turned sly, following the bad habits of her husband.
"I understand." With a heavy feeling, Andres slightly lowered his head, obedient to the decision his father had made.
"Cool your head" Hector ordered.
"Excuse me." Without agreeing, Andres left the room with heavy steps.
Looking at the door that had closed, Hector let out a heavy sigh, feeling tired from the continuous trouble coming at him.
Not far from the Levene Family Mansion, with several knights and servants following, a long brown-haired girl with decorations near her ears stepped into the moonlit open passage, showing a smile that seems scary.
The sharp eyes were yellowish in color, the stature of the body was neither too high nor low, looking like a normal teenage girl. Even so, everyone understood, the girl was someone to look out for.
Not because of his fighting ability, not because of the influence he has, but because of his cunning nature like a fox and his personality that does not care about one's life to achieve something that becomes his goal.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you, My Far Brother.
