Chapter 29a
Juna glanced at the luxurious watch that was curling sweetly on her wrist. Wulan sent a text message, notifying her of the possibility of arriving a little late because the morning traffic to her house was quite heavy.
Trying to be patient, Juna sat on the edge of the bed although to be honest he was restless. Anggi's face was as pale as if it had no blood. Seemed to grimace occasionally although the Anggi hold back not to voice a groan while holding his stomach.
The pillow is deliberately arranged higher so that Anggi lies half-leaning comfortably. Juna gently rubbed the side of the pale-looking woman's face. However, it was unexpected that Anggi brushed it off this time. Juna repeated it by smoothing the children's hair on Anggi's forehead and again the response was the same.
“Not pay attention to me, Mas,” reject it slowly in a low tone. They have no energy to scream.
Juna looked straight at her with an unreadable expression. Anggi even threw his face the other way, refusing to look back. Not long after, Bik Tiyas came carrying a breakfast tray. Put it on the nightstand and back down.
“Wulan on the way. While waiting for food first. You look thinner,” said Juna while moving the tray from the nightstand to the top of the lap.
A spoonful of potato porridge mixed with meat and vegetables, Juna thrust into front of Anggi's mouth. “Come to eat.”
Anggi. His eyes glared sharply. “I'm not hungry,” the answer is flat and back looking away.
Not without reason Anggi said so. The hull really hurts like strong squeezed invisible hands, the base of his throat is also sore accompanied by severe nausea. Plus the burden of suffering created by Juna is now writhing wildly in his soul. Calling for rights that have been taken away so far. Refuse to go back into the cage in the dark corner of the hidden heart.
He put the spoon back into the bowl of porridge. Trying to train herself to be more patient, Juna tightened her jaw and took a deep breath. Restraining his ego from taking over and gushing out.
“I don't want,” refuse it cold.
Juna massaged the base of his nose. Since then, Anggi has not stopped denying. Not as usual. It looks like the baby in her womb is encouraging Anggi to protest and defy.
Not accustomed to rejection, the anger side in Juna is wrestling not to be lured out even though it is difficult. Each time he remembered that a tiny creature part of him was growing in Anggi's womb, a warm streak slipped in his heart. Slightly softens his hard ego even if not completely.
“Minum a little. Didn't you vomit, surely now your mouth feels uncomfortable ‘kan?” Only this time Juna tried to persuade so tenaciously. Closer the glass to the front of the mouth of the Anggi once again.
Unexpectedly Anggi brushed it until the glass was thrown. It made a loud noise because the glass broke into pieces when it landed on the floor.
“I told you, don't care and pay attention to me! If all that Mas did was just to shake me then after that dumped me without mercy!” he shouted with the remnants of existing energy. Highlight his eyes were full of wounds as he looked at Juna. Anggi bit his lips firmly, holding back the stuffing that came back wanting to roar uncontrollably. Pain relief in his heart still leaves tightness until it feels as bad.
Juna clenched his hands. Refrain from yelling at each other. He also felt, Anggi who obeyed to be stubborn due to his attitude that had been only busy taking care of his own feelings, to forget there were other feelings that must be maintained. This is his best record in controlling his tempramental impulse which is often explosive.
Wulan went into the room in between Bik Tiyas. The two women were stunned as soon as they entered the contest room when they found shards of shard strewn across the floor.
Although surprised, without many words Wulan chose to hurry to do her job of checking Anggi, while Bik Tiyas immediately stepped aside after cleaning the broken glass carefully.
