The day was getting noon, Naura as usual began to work on activities in the boarding school. The afternoon sky has changed into the twilight sky which signifies the afternoon.
On this day, Naura spends all her days going to the kitchen and the council to teach. Inevitably, the rules of the cottage must be obeyed.this afternoon he went into the kitchen again for activities that every woman always do. Learn cooking. Although he had been more than a week, but it felt like just one day living in the cottage. Still feeling heavy with the hut jitters.
"Huh, it's hot in here. I could die" Naura walked out of the kitchen as she felt tired with the atmosphere quite covered and filled with cooking fumes that made her want to explode.
"where are you going, Naura?" ask someone who saw Naura pass. Naura did not know who, because from earlier, her eyes were busy looking for a place to rest and had ignored the person, Naura did not answer.
Naura stopped in front of the rice field that was next to the hut. He looked at the vastness of the sky that he could see as much as he could. The wind is so cool at dusk today.
"Maybe this is the right place for me to lean on for a moment" he said slowly.
Naura sat on a large, long wooden chair next to her. Only then could he feel a little calmness from the tiredness of this long day.
His mind floated back. Suddenly the shadow of his family was present in his mind. Missing cannot be lied to by him.
Naura is still fairly not too familiar with the cottage, then Naura will feel still alone even though many people who have been friends with her.
A single tear dripped from the corner of his eye. A few questions followed the turn of the fallen tears. Which question he would always ask and no one could answer.
"Why do you have to put me in this place?"
"For what?"
"What happiness will I get from here?"
The plot!
Naura threw an empty can with just about anything that hit someone behind her. Out of annoyance, Naura will smash or throw whatever objects are around without thinking about where to fly after being thrown.
Naura turned her head for a moment and said, "Sorry."
"Yes. All right, it's okay." reply Ramdan, the person who was hit by the throw earlier.
Ramdan walked closer towards Naura, then sat down on a chair that happened to be long, so that Ramdan could sit with a distance between himself and Naura.
Naura only glanced at Ramdan who was sitting next to her even though it was a little distance away. Naura's mind was not able to think clearly let alone just say hello. Naura chose to keep looking at the twilight scene before her.
"It's been a very late afternoon. Aren't you going to clean your body?" ask Ramdan to start the conversation.
"Lo's surprised, huh? Rude language is my everyday language. I've been trying to avoid that, but sorry I can't."
"It is not my language and my behavior that I cannot forget, but also the pain, disappointment, and bitter memories of my life. Honestly, I can't, Ram."
"Lo can persuade you to pick me up?"
Ramdan shook his head, "No. You're on the right path. Never go back on the wrong path, Naura." - Ramdan said as he looked at Naura.
"What do I need to do? Give me one reason to stay here!"
Ramdan was silent for a moment. "I." He said, making Naura turned her head and looked into Ramdan's eyes with a look of confusion.
"What?" naura asked Ramdan to repeat what was said, maybe Naura's ears misheard.
Ramdan swallowed his saliva slowly then said, "I want to marry you" Ramdan said, making Naura round her eyes perfectly. His breath seemed to freeze for a moment, feeling shocked and unable to believe what he was hearing.
"What?" the real question did not intend to ask, but as a word that seemed to express Naura's surprise.
Naura moved from her seat slowly. His eyes were still staring at Ramdan. Ramdan's mouth opened slightly when he saw Naura starting to move. Naura stepped back while shaking her head slowly.
"I-I need some time" said Naura stammering and then turning her back to Ramdan. Naura walked over and passed with a face that stared at the ground she was on.
Ramdan could only stare at Naura's departure in lethargy. His eyes closed and he breathed deeply.
Meanwhile, Naura stopped under a mango tree that was also by the lake, not far from where she originally sat. Naura closed her eyes as the wind blew on her. Then opened his eyes slowly and looked at the lake water with a blank look.
What Ramdan said earlier, made Naura feel very confused to interpret it. Eyes that are still closed slightly shriveled, his lower lip he bit when Naura felt nausea, dizziness, and pain in the abdomen. All that feeling is becoming. Naura was no longer able to hold her body. Naura fell.
However it seemed, Naura was not destined to fall. Naura's body fell on Ramdan's rebuttal. Not knowing how long it had been, Ramdan was there, right behind him.
Naura looked at Ramdan's face before Naura's eyes closed in unconsciousness. Ramdan patted Naura's cheeks, hoping Naura would wake up soon. But apparently not.
"Naura. Be aware, please don't worry me. Be aware, Naura, be aware." said Ramdan with a face that looked increasingly worried because Naura was unconscious.
Ramdan chose to immediately carry Naura's body and intended to take her to a nearby hospital.
