"Tock... Geck... Geck..."

The sound of knocking on the door sounded.

Doubt was evident from the eyes of everyone in the room. They look at each other.

Before they reacted, a voice sounded from outside.

"Hello, is there anyone inside?" Say someone.

Those inside looked at each other and nodded as if understanding each other.

"A..is there no zombies outside?" Ask one of the nervous girls.

"There are no more zombies here, but if you don't open the door, other zombies will come soon." Answer someone from the outside.

"Kree...." The sound of the door opening.

Alvin was stunned for a moment. It turned out that the one who opened the door was a petite but beautiful girl followed by a sturdy young man while pointing a knife at him.

"Mh... Where are the zombies outside sir?" Say the girl.

'Sir? Am I that old?' inner Alvin.

Alvin scrunched his forehead. He just turned his head and pointed towards the zombies lying on the ground.

Then two more people appeared, a beautiful girl followed by a young man who looked arrogant.

Alvin's eyes immediately focused on the beautiful girl called 'Anna. He seemed to be hypnotized in his daydream when he saw it.

Another unfriendly and arrogant young man named Felix London, he did not introduce himself and looked down on Alvin.

From the novels he had read, he knew food would become very scarce later on. But the truth is Kyle and the others, except Felix, think of Alvin as a savior and seem trustworthy.

They also nodded together. Only Felix looked at Alvin with a scornful look. He feels superior because he thinks this zombie apocalypse is only temporary and the government will be able to restore the country in a few days.

Alvin spread his gaze around the zombies he had killed. The lock of the warehouse must have been kept by one of the restaurant staff. After a while, Alvin gets a bunch of keys on one of the zombies.

"Let's go back, maybe there's a key that fits here." Alvin said as he waved the keys to his findings.

Alvin walked in front followed by the others. While heading to the food warehouse, Alvin saw 2 figures curled up in the corner of the kitchen. He paused for a moment and scrunched his forehead.

"You're a real estate agent, right?" Ask Alvin.

Targeted by a question from Alvin, a woman raises her head and looks at Alvin.

"Sir Delamo? Yes sir, I'm Nancy Gordon, marketing from Gordon Real Estate."

"How did you get here?" Ask Nancy.

"I just happened to pass by." Answer Alvin.

As if to say something, Nancy stared at Alvin for quite a while.

"Well, wait a minute, I'll open the storage shed in the back, you guys just wait here." Alvin said while looking in the other direction.

As Alvin walked into the storage shed, there were whispers from behind him. She thought the students were looking for information about her from Nancy.

Alvin did not care about their conversation, now his priority was to get out of the restaurant with food.

Alvin tried all the keys he found to open the barn door. But all the keys don't fit the door.

Not wanting to give up, Alvin secretly took out a sledgehammer from his storage ring. By slamming a few times into the door, the door finally opened.

Hearing a loud bang from behind, the student and Nancy and a child she was carrying rushed to the back. They were stunned to see the broken door.

From inside Alvin shouted,

"Come in, there's enough food here, we need to get out of this restaurant as soon as possible."

They rushed in too.

Looking at the food inside the storage room, everyone's eyes lit up. They quickly looked for bags, bags or anything that could take the food out.

"We can eat it later, now pack the food first. Miss Gordon, as a local, please think of a safe place for us to settle down." Alvin Urge.

While packing the food into a bag she found in the kitchen, Nancy said.

"My place of residence is around here, not too far away."

"Good, after packing we moved to Nancy's house. Do it quickly, I'll wait in front of the restaurant while looking at the movement of the zombies." Alvin.

Since the back door was completely closed, Alvin did not worry about it. He rushed forward to secure the exit path first.
