Twenty years ago...

Five-year-old Kai was so happy when he heard the news that his parents' best friend had given birth to a beautiful daughter.

"Well, said Uncle Bram already have a baby grandpa huh ?" little Kai asked with his innocent face.

"Dear, Uncle Bram and Aunty Desi already have a beautiful baby" Aditya's father pinched his son's cheek gently, He was very anxious to see his son's happy face.

"That means the baby's a girl ?" little Kai asked jumping happily, "Yeay finally Kai has a little sister"

"Stop jumping baby !" aditya's father scolded, "Well you want to see the baby's sister ?" ask Aditya's father.

"Can I ?" asked Kai who got the nod by Aditya's father, "Let's go now !" said little Kai who was so excited.

"Wait for Mother dong !" said Mother Maryam who just finished getting ready.

"How long is it ? Kai can't wait to see his baby sister" said little Kai puffing his tiny lips.

"Sorry dear" said Mother Maryam rubbed her little son's head, "Kai happy to have a new sister ?" ask Mother Maryam.

Little Kai nodded and smiled, "of course Kai is happy" he replied.

"All right, let's go now !" said Aditya's father then carried the body of little Kai.

"Daddy put Kai down !" the rebellious Pinta Kai wanted to come down from his father's arms, "Well, you're not a child anymore, you're already a big brother that means Kai's already big" said Kai, who now walks alone.

Hearing the plain words of her son made Mother Maryam and Father Aditya laugh.

After they arrived at the hospital, Kai immediately approached the baby box and saw the tiny baby who was sleeping soundly.

"Well, Mother, the baby's grandpa is asleep" said Kai who was still staring at the tiny baby.

Aditya's father and Mother Maryam smiled at her son's words. They congratulated his best friend who had found a beautiful princess.

"Congratulations Ma'am" said Mother Maryam to the mother of the baby, "finally after the waiting of seven years Desi and Mas Bram get a baby" continued Mother Maryam who participated happy for the birth of her best friend's daughter.

"Thank you Ma'am" said Desi's mother who unconsciously dropped her tears of joy.

Mother Maryam then approached the baby box, she saw her faithful son staring at the tiny baby who was just one day old.

"The baby's sister's mother is pretty, isn't she ?"

"Yes, does Kai like it ?" ask Mother Maryam who has now been holding a little princess whose skin still looks red.

"What's your daughter Bram's name ?" ask Aditya's father who approached his wife and saw his best friend's little daughter.

"Jennie Clarissa" Bram's father replied.

"Beautiful name" praised Mother Maryam.

"Mother can we take the baby's sister home ?" little Kai asked innocently.

"Can't be dear" said Mother Maryam.

"Why can't it ?" again little Kai asked with his innocent face.

"Is it because the baby's sister is still a child ?"

"Yes, later if Jennie's sister is already big Kai can invite her to play at Kai's house" continued Bram's father who felt anxious with little Kai.

"Yeay, Kai can't wait for Jennie's sister to grow up" Kai said excitedly.

Such is the happiness felt by the Bram family and also the Aditya family. Indeed, their friendship has been like a sibling relationship, that's why Aditya's father also felt happiness over Jennie's little incident.

But that happiness only lasted one year, Father Bram and Mother Desi actually left Jennie in a small state and still need the affection of both parents. After an accident that resulted in both of them dying on the spot and only Jennie survived the death.

Eventually Mother Maryam and Father Aditya decide to adopt Jennie, and Jennie's presence makes their family happier. But again the harsh reality must be faced by their families when Jennie who was two years old was sentenced to suffer from heart failure.

That's why Mother Maryam and Father Aditya pay more attention to Jennie and bestow all their affection with Jennie because they feel sorry for the fate of her adopted daughter.

Kai who grew up without the affection of his parents the longer he did not like the existence of Jennie, he felt jealous of his sister who received excessive attention and affection from his parents. Even when Jennie was declared cured her parents were still favoritism.

As time goes on, Kai grows into a teenager, and fifteen-year-old Kai learns the fact that Jennie is not his biological sister. Yes indeed Kai did not remember if Jennie was just an adopted child because at that time she was too small to remember such a thing.

Kai's hatred grew when he found out that his position as a biological child was taken over by his sister who was only an adopted child. Since then Kai never considered Jennie again as his sister, nor did he see Jennie as a brother but a stranger.

*Flashback Of*

"Jennie isn't Kai's real sister" Kai continued, making Aditya's father stare at his son with a hard-to-understand look.

"You know if Jennie is only the adoptive child of Mother and Father, Kai knows if Jennie's parents have died, Kai knows if the tomb we often visit is a meal Jennie's parents, Jennie's parents, Kai already knows everything" he continued, explaining that he already knew everything and his parents no longer need to hide the secret.

"But whenever Jennie is still your sister, no matter if she's a foster child or not, it's clear that she's still your sister Kai" Aditya's father replied firmly.

"But Kai can't think of Jennie as a sister" Kai said honestly.

"Father doesn't need your confession to my daughter Jennie" Aditya's father coldly replied.

"Can Kai be honest ?" asked Kai who got no response from his parents.

"Kai actually likes Jennie" Kai's confession took Aditya's father and Mommy by surprise.

"Try to repeat again !" pinta Aditya's father wishes he had heard wrong.

"Kai likes Jennie, Kai loves Jennie, Kai loves Jennie as the opposite sex not as a sister" Kai honestly said.

"Brazed kid" Father Aditya's emotions exploded when he heard his son's confession, just now he wanted to punch his son in the face suddenly the Doctor came out of the ER.

"Pardon the patient's family on behalf of Miss Jennie ?" ask the Doctor.

"Yes, I'm Dok's father" said Aditya's father, "how's my daughter doing ?" ask Aditya's father who is curious about the state of his daughter.

"Miss Jennie is awake, and I have given a sedative so that your daughter does not feel excessive anxiety" explained the Doctor, "Now Mr and Mrs can visit Miss Jennie" continued the Doctor.
