Ballad of Love The Dancer

Ballad of Love The Dancer
Chapter 32

Mr. Koswara's house consists of three main buildings, one main house, one pendopo used for training, and the other is a costume room and other equipment.

Banners bearing the Paguyuban Seca Branti are slightly worn due to exposure to sunlight and rain appear to be installed in front of the main house.

Ahmad had been on stand by with his camera since they first entered Mr. Koswara's residence, he did not want to lose to take every precious moment.

Doni also did not miss starting to photograph and capture every interesting angle. Meanwhile, Sari, must fight against herself who began to carry a strange atmosphere in the residence of Mr. Koswara.

With great difficulty Sari tried to control herself who was too sensitive to something invisible. He tried to behave appropriately in front of his friends.

Mr. Edi was greeted directly by Mr. Koswara who had been told before.

"Assalamualaikum, Mang Koswara.this introduces the younger brothers from Semarang that I told you yesterday." Said Mr. Edi

"Wa'alaikumussalam, oh this is my guest.Welcome to the rickety hut of Seca Branti, I am Dedeng Koswara the owner and chairman of Paguyuban Seca Branti." Said Mr. Koswara introducing himself

"Include me Bagas the head of the coverage team, and these are my colleagues sir." Sahut Bagas, extending his hand

Mr. Koswara greeted Bagas with a smile while shaking hands. He shook their hands one by one while getting acquainted, but when he shook Sari's hand something strange felt.

There was another tremor as Sari's hand shook Mr. Koswara. But Mr. Koswara tried to be calm as well as Sari although he was a little surprised by the strange energy sting when his hand touched Mr. Koswara's hand.

"Let's just sit in the pendopo, while waiting for other children to come." Mr. Koswara invited his guests.

They followed Mr. Koswara and sat down on the pendopo floor. Indramayu drinks and snacks such as mango dodol, koci and some other traditional cakes have been served by Mr. Koswara's wife.

After a little suave in his style Bagas also began to dig up the necessary information from Mr. Koswara, he said,

"Have this Mr Paguyuban stood up for a long time?" Ask Bagas

"For a long time even older than my own age, this paguyuban was passed down from my great-grandfather." Answer Mr. Koswara

"Great-grandfather? Well, it's been a while, sorry to know how old you are now?" Ask Bagas again

"My age, still young, only thirty years old Bagas." Mr. Koswara smiled.

"Eeeh, thirty?" Doni said in wonder

"Yes thirty can't believe it either, I don't believe it either" Mr. Koswara laughed

"Thirty but 22 years ago, I was 52 years old," he replied, chuckling.

Those who were there also smiled, Mr. Koswara continued his story.

"Paguyuban Seca Branti is overshadowing the artists sintren in this village mas, unfortunately the more here the fans are getting reduced especially young people now no one wants to learn what else to watch." Said Mr. Koswara

"You are millennial sir, it is understandable that it happened for example I sir." Bagas with a smile

Mr. Koswara laughed, "Yes, Bagas was right about the modernization effect so the young ones now prefer western culture."

"Not all mas, the sintren is almost all hereditary dancers from his ancestors as well as the handlers and healers. It was done so that this art was not lost in the times, as we agreed the artists sintren." Answer Mr. Koswara

"So aside from the offspring could not be a dancer or other part of the sintren sir?" Ask Bagas

"Oh of course it can mas, we are open minded so anyone who wants to learn we accept with pleasure. But specifically for the dancers there are certain conditions that cannot be fulfilled by everyone." Mr. Koswara

"What special conditions, sir?" Ask Ahmad

"A sintren dancer besides being a descendant must also be a virgin, still a young and untouched man who is not a muhrim." Answer Mr. Koswara

"Huh, seriously sir?" Ask Doni

" Seriously, my dancers, even if they are old enough to marry, are still virgins, and we take good care of them." Mr. Koswara smiled proudly

"May you pack one for me who has already made it so bini." Doni without shame

Mr. Koswara laughed at that,

"May, if the dancers want and you can determine my conditions for asking." Mr. Koswara's

"Apaan tuh terms sir, klo ma ma ma house work there kok, love can I love, diamond I try deh kebeli." Honi answered seriously

"Surely you can?" Ask Mr. Koswara again

"Suer is sure as sure as I am." Sahut Doni while raising his two fingers up

"The terms are easy, you have to be handsome first mas klo nda I will permit my dancer to marry ma ugly person." Mr. Koswara kalem

Suddenly, Mr. Koswara's reply was greeted with endless laughter from others, while Doni could only smile wryly even though he was sure that he was no less handsome than his favorite actor Ikko Uwais.

"Mampus lu Don, oplas gih sono in Korea that back his forehead to sleep with his dancer Mang Koswara." Sahut Ahmad laughed.

"Fate of you Don, face super langes you don't do any good in the day." Timpal Bagas

"Damn you on my wish I swear so Upik ashes all this." Doni said annoyed

"Diii.. atut." Sahut Bagas and Ahmad together

Mr. Koswara and Mr. Edi also chuckled at their conversation,

"It's not like Doni Mang Kos is joking, is it Mang?" Ask Mr. Edi while rolling his eyes

"Ehm, how are you," replied Mr. Koswara while pretending to think

"Dadah sir stop, do not need to be answered rather than making my heart ache ntar." Doni pasrah.

Hearing Doni's reply back they chuckled in laughter. Sari who had been tense because she held back a feeling finally laughed. At least Doni's joke relaxed him for a moment.
