The real puppeteer
Zhu Fan hid in the outskirts of Tianwu City and vented his anger by killing all the poor family members in a small hut.
The small hut was the best place to hide from the watchful eyes of Royal Zhao Warriors, especially from Judge Zhao Jian who had recognized his face.
He did not return to the Lin Clan Residence because he was embarrassed for not being able to save Jiang Xiaofan and decided to kill Zhao Jian with his own hands.
Zhu Fan was sure he was stronger than Zhao Jian, because during the fight last—Zhao Jian always avoided him and targeted Jiang Xiaofan more.
“Cih, this poor Man, why is there only dry bread here!” his gerutu took the leftovers of the poor poor family he killed.
An adult man, an adult woman and two small children were lying on the floor of the hut which was only a room as wide as Twice Two spears without any room or kitchen space, because the room is a multi-function room aka all their activities are done in the small hut.
Zhu Fan sat cross-legged doing cultivation and would move again at night. He also set up a Barrier formation so that none of the Cultivators were aware of what was happening in the small hut.

Zhao Jian and Zhao Chen inspected the corpses of the dead Royal Soldiers in the big wall.
The injuries they suffered showed that the Royal Soldiers were actually putting up a fierce fight against the enemy who had suddenly attacked them. Which signified the enemy party had the same cultivation base as them. However, because the enemy attacked first and their numbers were more then these Soldiers ended up staying dead as well.
Zhao Jian was also confused, there were no enemy corpses lying there. It seemed like they had directly brought the bodies of their comrades so that the Zhao Kingdom side did not know which side carried out the raid.
“Is there a party that Uncle Chen suspects in this case?” Zhao Jian asked, as Zhao Chen was a senior Court Officer and had experience investigating a wide variety of criminal cases.
“Klan Lin and the Gu Clan are the most suspected in this case. However, we have no evidence to force them to drip blood on your Book of Justice so that we can find out their motives for doing this!” zhao Chen let out a long sigh.
“True too, I'll tell dad uh... King Zhao Tian in order to strengthen the Troops on the great wall, because the enemy's goal is for the Star Formation to malfunction when their main force reaches our Gui Dao!”
Zhao Jian immediately wrote a message for the Palace and sent it through the Dove Message.
Although the traitorous culprits were known, they had not been able to crack down on the Lin Clan and the Gu Clan as they were hindered by the prevailing rules of the King.
The only way to punish those two great Clans was for King Zhao Tian to make a new decree containing the massive capture of those two great Clans and it was certain that there would be a great War throughout the Kingdom Zhao.

King Zhao Tian felt his head was extremely dizzy after reading the Message sent by Zhao Jian. The message is similar to the one he allegedly discussed with the Princes, Ministers and his advisers.
After Zhao Jian's wedding party with Liu Ruxu was held, the, King Zhao Tian directly called the Princes back to Tianwu— City as he was suspicious of Lu Xiaoran who was the Jie Zhu Realm who was actually an unlikely existence in the Zhao Kingdom's Gui Dao.
King Zhao Tian also suspected the Gu Clan and the Lin Clan of conspiring with Lu Xiaoran. Today's events had made him very certain about the betrayal of those Two Clans.

The Heavenly Dragon Guards bowed their knees before King Zhao Tian who immediately nodded slowly.

King Zhao Tian sent the First Prince Zhao and the Third Prince into a surprise attack on the Gu Clan. He decided to dodge the attack on the Lin Clan, because there was Lu Xiaoran there and the strength and team he had was still mysterious.
The Lin Clan would be attacked using a full-scale military attack and force the Liu Clan as well as other small Clans to join. They must have obeyed his call for fear of the fate of their Clan just like the Gu Clan, had both of his Sons managed to destroy the Gu Clan.
