Zhao Jian rode on the Heavenly Chicken Beast which immediately ran at high speed, so Zhao Jian felt something was wrong.

“Shouldn't you just fly, Chicken Jago?” zhao Jian asked.

“Older Xiao Shi's hut is close enough, so it's better to just run to save some spiritual energy!” sahut the Heavenly Chicken Beast.

Zhao Jian felt that what the Celestial Chicken Beast had said was correct, so he did not complain anymore and took a few breaths later they reached the courtyard of the house that was on top of the Tree.

On the branch of the Tree next to the house was the perched Beast Phoenix belonging to Elder Xiao Shi.

The Heavenly Rooster Beast immediately lowered its face not daring to stare at that Phoenix Beast, so Zhao Jian frowned; why would even the Beast look intimidated by that Phoenix Beast.

Zhao Jian jumped at the door of the house belonging to the Peak Taming Beast Elder, he instantly cupped a fist to show respect. “Zhao Jian greets Elder Shi!”

Xiao Shi was discussing with some of the Elders in his small house and immediately stopped his discussion upon hearing Zhao Jian's voice. “My best disciple please come in... What are you looking for me?” he said with a big smile because he had a high talented student.

There were a Hundred disciples at the Peak Taming Beast and only a third of them had Soul contracts with Beasts, as well as the Beasts they tamed were weak Beasts that were not suitable to be escorts while doing battle.

“I've done a Soul contract with one of the Beasts and I came here to get the Peak Taming Beast Plaque!” sahut Zhao Jian—because it was with the Plaque that he was able to go in and out of the Immortal Sword Sect and carry out his duties as the Imperial Judge.

Xiao Shi and the other Elders were shocked to hear that. This was the first time in the history of the Peak Taming Beast that there were disciples who could instantly enter into a Soul Contract with the Beast.

In their minds those Beasts might be the Wind Tiger Beast, the Stone Ape Beast or the White Snake Beast. Those three Beasts were the strongest Beasts who had yet to forge a Soul Contract at the Peak of the Beast Tamer.

The three Beasts were subdued by Xiao Shi from the Middle Forest which only opened the end of the year of the Jiang— Empire in order for the Beast population as well as the savage Beasts to be inexhaustible, hunted down, as well as giving the Beast a chance to evolve into a Beast.

Zhao Jian approached the Beast Phoenix and cupped his fists to show respect as he was the Beast that belonged to Elder Xiao Shi. “Please senior release the Rooster, I will train it to have good natures!”

The Beast Phoenix frowned and immediately laughed as the Celestial Chicken Beast instead had the name Rooster. “He is not a rooster, but a cowardly chick!” taunted.

Zhao Jian started to get annoyed at that Beast Phoenix, as he wanted to rush down the mountain to find out information regarding his friends from the Zhao Clan being accepted at any Peak.

“As far as seniors are, please let her go! Don't let me take out my Imperial Judge Token!” threaten Zhao Jian—because if he issued it then the Book of Justice will also be issued to find out what verdict will be sentenced to the Beast belonging to Elder Xiao Shi.

Beast Phoenix glanced sharply at Zhao Jian and said, “Hey, rotten man! You threatening me? Are you tired of living?” threaten her.

“Is it alright to let Beast Phoenix say arrogantly so?” elder Duan Siliang asked Elder Xiao Shi, as he was afraid that the Beast Phoenix would beat the new disciple to a pulp.

“Let's rest, if he's almost dead then I'll break up that Beast Phoenix!” elder Xiao Shi said casually.

The other Elders were worried precisely because Zhao Jian was the Emperor's son-in-law, if he was seriously injured then the Emperor would definitely be angry because his handsome son-in-law turned into a daughter-in-law who had a deformed body and was not suitable to be the companion of the very beautiful Jiang Ruo.

“Violet, huli Jing, Daji.. come out!” zhao Jian exclaimed, then the Butterfly Beast floated above him and the Two Fox Beasts with the Crescent Moon symbol as well as the Sun Symbol instantly surrounded the Phoenix Beast.

“Oh? You guys want to gang up on this Ruler?” sahut Beast Phoenix who was one of the strongest Spirit Beast while flapping its wings filled with flames. “Take this!” He kicked the Heavenly Chicken Beast towards Zhao Jian.

Zhao Jian leaped high so that the chicken Beast darted beneath him and stopped after crashing into the Tree behind him.

“How could you be sir!” the grunts of the Heavenly Chicken Beast spewed out a mouthful of blood.

“If I don't dodge then I will spit out a mouthful of blood! Do you have the heart to see your master hurt?” zhao Jian Sahut.

The Heavenly Rooster Beast frowned, he did not know whether to be happy or sad. “Then please pick up the feathers sir!”
