Mika's name, is a guy who accidentally hit Jessica last afternoon. He also suffered severe injuries from the accident.
Before the incident happened, Mika came to the campus because there was an appointment with her script supervisor. It is only the final task that must be completed this semester.
After her guidance, she planned to find lunch first before returning home to continue writing the thesis. The quiet street made him subconsciously step on the gas pedal a bit deep when suddenly a short-haired girl ran in front of him and he could no longer step on the brakes because it was too close.
It is still clear in his memory when the front wheel of his motorcycle hit the girl hard then his body bounced a few meters motionless again, while he fell and grazed on the hot asphalt.
When some people came to him to help, he still had time to say while pointing at the girl lying down, "Help her first," before finally losing consciousness.
And here he is now, in a hospital treatment room with his right leg wrapped in a cast, his right hand also digips and head wearing a neck brace. Instantly the pain slowly began to strike even though in the infusion there must have been painkillers.
"You're sober, son," a worried mama's voice came from the right side of her bed.
"Ma.
Mama stroked her left arm gently.
"Do not move much first, son, so that it can heal quickly." said the mother again with a smile comforting herself.
"What about the girl I hit?" her question was anxiously remembering that the body had not moved after it had bounced on the asphalt.
"The injury is pretty bad too. The doctor said his head had a mild concussion and his legs might be temporarily paralyzed but because he was not aware, the doctor was still waiting for his development later" explained Mama to him.
"You don't think too much.... The police have also come, he said it was not your fault. And the girl's family also chose the path of peace with us."
Mika was silent to her mother's explanation. On one hand he was relieved that the girl was still alive but on the other hand he was sorry to listen there was a possibility of being paralyzed. His own condition is no better. I don't know why he was thinking.
"May the doctor's diagnosis be wrong" he prayed in his heart.

Kaivan is back in the hospital. She plans to wait for Jessica tonight so the girls' parents can rest first.
Arriving at the front of the girl's room, looks mama Jessica who is sitting on the bench. Maybe now his father changed to visit.
"Is Jessica already aware of auntie," she asked.
"It was realized just now and now the papa changed into going inside," replied mama Jessica still with a sad face.
"You may, let me take care of Jessica tonight, so that aunt and om can rest first," said Kaivan hoping his proposal can be accepted.
Mama Jessica nodded without looking at Kaivan.
"Let's try aunty tanya om first," said mama Jessica again.
Then silence enveloped them. A moment passed, the door of the room where Jessica was being treated opened and her papa came out.
"He's asleep again, maybe the effect of his anesthesia hasn't really gone away. But that's okay, let him not be quick to hurt from his injuries" Jessica told his wife.
Mama Jessica just nodded. It still seems to be in shock with the incident that befell their only child.
Papa the girl looked at Kaivan sharply.
"Udah should be the one who takes care of him, because he is the one who made our son this way," he grunted still angrily at Kaivan.
Kaivan bowed and swallowed the bitter-tasting saliva. He realized in the eyes of Jessica's parents this mistake could not be forgiven.
"Let's go home that way, tomorrow we come here again, change the wait for Jessi" said Jessica as she guided her wife up from her seat and walked outside.
After papa and Jessica's mother came home, Kaivan slowly opened the door of the treatment room. He saw a girl lying weakly on the bed.
Jessica's body is full of bandages right there. His face was pale and looked pitiful. Kaivan again felt regret stabbing his chest.
"I wish I had never turned away from the elo.." he regretted as he sat down slowly to the right of the girl.
She held Jessica's hand carefully. His feelings are mixed. Part of her heart felt guilty and wanted to mend her relationship with Jessica. But some were disturbed by the shadow of Ayana's face when she came home earlier.
Anxious face that then turned into a look of disappointment and sadness after he just passed and did not care about it. In the end he had hurt the hearts of the two girls. All happened because of the fragility and unfaithfulness of his heart. He is guilty.
Kaivan closed his eyes and exhaled slowly, trying to eliminate the tightness in the chest. The priority right now is Jessica.
There's no way she'd leave when Jessica was like this. However, this girl who had been faithful to accompany him for four years and they had long knit desperately for the future. Ayana was only known a few months ago.
So he hopes that Ayana's feelings for him are still not so deep and can forget about it later. He prayed that the girl would get a better person than him. And he had to try to make both his parents understand this situation.
Now what is clear is that he must be responsible for accompanying Jessica because what the girl experienced was all caused by her. There was no way he would go away and leave her.
"Gue will always be there for elo.... I will take care of Elo.... I hope you will forgive what I have done." - Kaivan whispered in his heart.

Waking up from her sleep, Jessica slowly opened her eyes. The dizziness still greatly disturbed him. He felt his right hand held by someone.
Slowly Jessica looked towards Kaivan who was asleep at the edge of the bed while holding her hand. His movements made Kaivan wake up as well.
"Have you woken up, Jes?" kaivan asked as he straightened his body back on the chair.
Jessica did not answer. His eyes looked around and only realized that he was lying in the hospital. He woke up and saw his mother. But it seemed that time had not been fully aware of the situation around him.
He thought he was awake in his own room at home and his mother was waking him up for college. Just somehow his head was still so dizzy and his eyes were so heavy that he went back to sleep.
It was only when he woke up again and saw Kaivan by his side that he only realized that he was not sleeping in his own room but in the hospital.
"Gue why is Kai here?"
