Become The Adoptive Sister In My Novel
CHAPTER 28: Something's Wrong

"I knew it was my fault, my selfishness made me go to bring Amora. But I really can't take care of him anymore. I've had various treatments, but last night I had a dream that it was my time to go home."

The voice was clearly heard from the lips of a person with a beautiful smile that Thedelso had known. "Calista.." groaned Thedelso as he awoke from his dream.

A bright night with the moon and stars, just as it used to be when he met and parted with the woman he loved.

Slowly Thedelso started walking towards the balcony of the room. He was the one walking in the park there. Seen a half-teen boy walking around with lights involved differently.

Slowly Thedelso came down from his room. Go to the park where the boy is. "Amora.." call Thedelso make Amora flinch instantly.

"Dad! Jesus, my father surprised me" said Amora as soon as the light of the lamp disappeared.

Duke knew that the light was the spirit form of what Amora had learned all along.

"What are you doing?" tanya Thedelso spontaneously approached Amora.

"Talking to my sister, my sister said that during her dorm day it was very noisy so I spoke at night," Amora's words re-emerged her spirit light.

The puzzled Thedelso's countenance was also shocked. It was clear how he did not even know what way of communication the two were engaged in. Amora simply displayed her smile, then held the Duke's hand gently. It was also a yellow silhouette, signifying the spirit coming out by Amora.

"Hello? Amora, why did it suddenly disappear?" a voice came that out of nowhere made Thedelso instantly startled instantly.

Another thing with Amora as usual seeing that, she looked at Duke with her sweet smile. "Sister, father is here," said Amora looking at the soft Thedelso.

"Dad? Tumben once father comes."

"Yes, it seems like I was caught walking in the park this time," Amora replied.

Their conversation became longer. With Thedelso know also Chandler's situation there. He had already learned a lot of magic, even this included from the development of magic he was looking for. The sooner he learns the better, because the sooner he'll graduate from the academy.

The conversation deepened, until Thedelso showed a genuine smile. "Chandler," called Thedelso on the sidelines of their conversation.

"Yes dad?"

"Can you take care of your sister? This is my request."

"Why do you talk like that? I'll always take care of her, won't I always do that?"

"True, you always do so even I don't have to worry anymore when leaving you two," Thedelso said with a smile looking at Amora.

At once the calm and warm atmosphere became calm. "Dad will leave me with brother?"

"I mean I don't have to worry about leaving you two together, you're gonna take care of each other, right?"

"Of course, what did you say?!" chandler's speech was raised by the chanting of Thedelso.

"Nothing, I'm just calm you're really being a father's son. I'm really happy."

The speech became the closing of him and Chandler. So did Amora who walked straight to her room. With a mind full of wild thoughts.

"Airy," the words that came out of Amora's lips. Instantly there was a fairy coming out from the golden yellow light as usual. Gradually the figure was clearly visible with his head, body, hands, feet, as well as his small wings.

"You call me, Madam?" said the fairy.

The elf was the result of a spirit covenant between him and the possessor of power. Being of the true spirit, making a pact to be more able to speak. In this case, Magic is not able to imitate the form of a spirit that is sometimes in the form of fairies or animals themselves.

Airy, the kind of low-level spirit that Amora managed to summon. The greater the form, the greater the eating will be the greater the strength needed. Airy belongs to the low level Spirit type.

"Airy, I thought of something" said Amora still lying on her bed.

"You think too much of that," Airy's reply briefly flew over his face.

"really? Is everything gonna be okay? I'm scared."

"For sure, your strength is a rare power. Especially with Diana in existence, you must feel insecure."

Nod Amora for a moment and then sit from the previous position. He looked at Airy who was still flying by his side. Moments later, Airy sat on his shoulder.

"You think of something?" airy asked confusedly looking at Amora's face which was still unchanged from before.

"Nothing, it's just a little while older sister's birthday, yes Airy, the previous years I did not give anything, now I think of a gift for sister," explained Amora left her bed. Moments later Amora heads to her study table. It was seen he opened the nightstand and took out some blank paper as well as a pen from there. "Airy, can you help me?" ask Amora while showing the paper.

"What can I do?" airy asked with his serious face.

"Hehe, describe me something," Amora replied with her smiling face.

Airy was surprised by what Amora said. He sat at the table with the paper and pen that Amora had prepared.

"You joking? I Can help you in healing, or do something great and you just tell me to draw?!" airy said with a slightly irritated face.

"You know Airy I don't really need that right now, after all I have to hide you for a while. It's like a trial, so do it right."

"It's an insult to me" said Airy directly put the big pen on his body.

A few moments later Amora lowered her head. Right in front of Airy, he immediately saw what Amora wanted to describe. Airy and Amora are like something that's been together. They can understand and know without having to speak. A sacred covenant binds them, making them understand each other.

Airy opened her little eyes. Followed by Amora who realizes Airy has done his job. "Can you do it Airy? I couldn't believe my drawing skills" said Amora, rubbing Airy's small head.

"What do you think? You kind of made something different" asked Airy puzzled by what he saw from Amora.

"Hehe, that's archery with a thrower" Amora replied as she teased with a joke.

"You must be kidding how can you make that with details?"

"Eat him Airy, I told you I've never been with my drawing skills so I asked for your help."

"I'll try, Amora."
