CHAPTER 40: Just a Temple

That morning Amora woke up in a place that was foreign to her. Comfortable room with a large bed.

"You're up, Miss?" asking someone makes Amora flinch. It was Barier, with a gentle smile.

"Barier! Oh my God you surprised me!" sontak Amora spoke in a slightly raised tone. "This where is Barier?" ask Amora.

"This is Mr. Chandler's room, you had dinner with him last night remember?" barier replied back in a relaxed manner.

For a moment Amora nodded her head. Looking around was truly a foreign atmosphere to Amora. Amora Chandler is a very private person. She doesn't like it when someone else walks into her room, even if it's the waiter who tidies up the room. The previous duke, Edelweis, Barier, was Chandler's confidant to break into his room.

Until now Amora, not only entered and even slept in Chandler's bed. Amora heard a lot of noise. He watched from the bedroom window, a new soldier was being trained. The leader of the exercise was Chandler himself.

After preparing, Amora went downstairs. Seeing her brother with a feeling of joy and pleasure. "Sister!" yelled Amora calling.

Chandler stared at Amora. The cold gaze was different from the one Amora remembered last time. Some time Chandler gave the code with his hand. Make those soldiers stop training and start resting.

Amora was silent, like a block of ice with a gripping cold atmosphere. Amora doesn't believe her brother changed in one night. The warmth he felt was either his memory of desire or just a dream.

"You're okay?" tanya Barier then broke Amora's daydream.

Amora was silent, she did not dare to speak. His steps came to a halt with the tears he held back. For a moment Amora sat languidly holding her face which she had hidden down.

"What happened to Barier?" tanya Amora still did not believe her brother's treatment. "Barry? Does my sister feel different?" ask Amora directly.

"Please don't get me wrong, this must also be a hard thing for Master Duke, he just lost his father and became Duke in a short time. Please understand," Barier explained trying to calm Amora down.

On the other hand, Amora looked at what Chandler was saying. Perhaps a pretense of Chandler's concern all along because of Thedelso. On the other hand, Amora also tried to understand what Barier explained.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner as usual. Amora alone, Thedelso who always accompanied Amora now does not exist. Even the servants were nowhere to be seen. Only Barier is always next to Amora now.

"The food is good" said Amora, breaking the silence.

Amora felt free for a moment, just as Barier was away. He looked around, the collection of books that were given Madam Schwarz was still there.

"Give me a little strength to survive now, Monday" said Amora, holding her hands together and closing her eyes. At the same time, glare began to emerge from Amora's hand.

"You call me, Amora?"

On the other hand Barier was already in the middle of the gathering. Where there's Chandler and Theodor. I don't know from when Theodor was there, but it took Barier by surprise. Because in the palace there is still Diana, but Theodor can now start free to go.

"What do you want to say Mr Duke?" ask Barier to Chandler.

"Nothing, is afa something different from Amora?" ask Chandler with his serious face.

"Nothing, after preparing Miss Amora for dinner then went to the library," Barier said immediately to answer the question. "Ah, it seems like Miss Amora is starting to realize the deserted mansion. At dinner he asked if he could meet his cook. I gave a simple reason and it was enough to make Miss Amora not ask any more questions, but I know that is not a satisfactory answer for Miss Amora" Barier explained.

"I will send some of my subordinates as servants and guards. Don't let Amora know it's Chandler's magic" Theodor said in response to Chandler's gaze.

"Can't I tell Amora directly?" ask Chandler.

"No, it's too dangerous to involve Amora in the plan!"
