Chp 29: Yeon-Jin's Blood

The journey of Cia Changyi and Yeon-Jin began, their destination being a city in the northern regions of the empire. They had to pass through the trade route because it was the only way there.

"You remind the north of many cold-season cities all year, we'll be there" Cia Changyi told Yeon-Jin.

The woman is known to be a young miss from the Liu family, she is named Liu Ahcy who was separated from her entourage due to an assassin from one of the Liu family's enemies.

The red skull sect did also open the services of high-priced assassins, most of the tasks they worked on were always smooth running and usually the hitmen were called skull assassins.

The skull slayer tenaciously slashed his sword towards Liu Ahcy, each slash of which scattered the poison powder that could make the opponent's movements weaken.

Liu Ahcy focused on defending himself, his sword slashing towards the skull assassin with 4 moves from the 6 death slashes. The first movement of the sword slashed out with a wave pattern.

After taking a few steps back, Liu Ahcy jumped on top of the assassin and made his sword straight down. Seeing that the skull killer also jumped from the bottom to the top of Liu Ahcy.

Their sword eyes met and the two of them both exerted a strong pressure, but the sword that the assassin was wearing began to emit poisonous flower powder.

Liu Ahcy gritted his teeth, the two attacks should have been successful but why should they have failed. He also felt his movements begin to weaken and it made the skull killer smile cynically.

It was then that the skull-killer readied his horses and straightened his sword to the side, with a quick movement he targeted Liu Ahcy's neck.

Liu Ahcy suddenly had blurred vision, the effect of the flower powder was deadly. The flowers came from the red skull sect and they could only be cultivated.

Liu Ahcy faintly saw the attack, he could only run as well and slash forward hoping that his attack could hit his opponent.

However the slash could be broken with that skull-killing sword, it was still targeting Liu Ahcy's neck and as it got closer something happened.

Yeon-Jin runs before Liu Ahcy then his sword quickly draws out the skull killer's arm, as a surprise attack makes the skull killer retreat backwards.

"Based on the sect of red skulls, using poisonous flower powder to weaken the enemy, no wonder you often complete paid assassination missions" Yeon-Jin said.

"Where do you know the truth of the red skull sect, whoever you are must die before this secret spreads," said the skull killer, he was initially surprised but now there are two targets.

"You are very arrogant, let me tell you that I am the brother of the great swordsman Cia Changyi" Yeon-Jin said proudly.

Seeing the attack makes Yeon-Jin injure his finger, blood comes out of his finger and he uses it as poison in his sword. He with a single slash spread his blood poison.

The poisonous flower powder and Yeon-Jin's blood meet, but Yeon-Jin's blood poison entity is so high that the poisonous flower powder merges with the blood and attacks the skull killer.

The attack then made the skull killer kneel and then fall down with a pool of blood that immediately formed around him.

Yeon-Jin was indeed waiting for the right momentum to attack and fortunately he obtained a talisman from Cia Changyi that could dispel the aura of existence.

When he turned around, Yeon-Jin saw the unconscious Liu Ahcy as well. It was definitely the effect of the poison flower powder that would make Liu Ahcy's body weaken and heat cold.

"The blood is so great, it can regenerate my wounds quickly," Liu Ahcy said inwardly, before he could think again that his entourage had found him.

Liu Ahcy chose to keep the true events of last night a secret to his brother during questioning, then they hurried to continue the delayed journey.
