Chp 39: Lei Mei Training

"You don't need to know who I am but you obviously have to be a good tutor to Lei Mei" Cia Changyi said, flicking her finger at Lei Mei's forehead.

Lei Mei's eyes slowly closed and she fell unconscious, Cia Changyi held Lei Mei from behind. Seeing that made Yeon-Jin curious.

"Changyi is actually why Lei Mei could have the power of illusion? Why did he have such a rare ability and I could feel the strange power in his body earlier," asked the curious Yeon-Jin.

"There is no problem about that, you need to know that the strength of the dahlia swordsman will be stronger than the last time in his previous life" said Cia Changyi.

Cia Changyi and Yeon-Jin recounted their experience of fighting on the volcano until Lei Mei woke up from her stupor and came down from Cia Changyi's sling.

"Thank you senior Changyi and senior Yeon for the help and also this beautiful new shirt" Lei Mei said excitedly.

"You don't have to think about it, now are you ready for our journey to the mountain" Yeon-Jin said, pointing to the towering volcano as it reached the clouds.

"Yes, I will do my best for my mother" Lei Mei said as she recalled her mother's message to be strong so as to protect her mother from the Lei family's bad guys.

"Good, now I'll teach you to practice physics" Cia Changyi told Lei Mei.

During the trip Cia Changyi gave some quite heavy physical training to Lei Mei, they went through a path that people rarely knew and the monsters that passed by.

Lei Mei should be able to compensate for Yeon-Jin's running and can also run with certain weights that increase with intense training.

Although heavy but Lei Mei forced herself, even so but her stamina was not too depleted thanks to a potion from Cia Changyi that was very efficacious.

"Lei Mei I think you are strong enough to learn swords, now you use my old sword and try the horses and some basic movements" said Cia Changyi.

They used the break time to teach Lei Mei basic moves then replaced their break with a potion from Cia Changyi.

It is actually not good to rely on Cia Changyi herb but Cia Changyi can relieve the side effects of long-term use.

"Ah I'm tired, can we really rest," Lei Mei told Cia Changyi and Yeon-Jin, she wanted to feel a real rest not by drinking a potion of stamina.

"Well we rest, you look for shade and I'll cook for you" said Cia Changyi, who also saw that the day had begun late into the night.

As night fell they ate the food made by Cia Changyi voraciously especially Lei Mei, she praised the sense of pleasure from the food made by Cia Changyi.

"This is so delicious it's very different from the Lei family's leftovers. Can you eat good food there like me?" said Lei Mei who remembered about her mother.

"Have you not grieved like that. How about after this you will show me the entertainment of a swordsman," said Cia Changyi to entertain Lei Mei.

Lei Mei was enthusiastic about hearing that, she was curious about what entertainment for a swordsman. But his enthusiasm became a feeling of fear when he saw a monster that he thought was quite scary.

"This is the entertainment, calm down we will watch from up here and kill the ugly monster" said Cia Changyi who was on the tree with Yeon-Jin.

Seeing that Lei Mei was quite nervous to see that low-level monster, yet she immediately tried to calm herself down with the instructions from the big brother who was inside her body.

Lei Mei put up the horses that she had learned, although she was still a bit nervous that made her body tremble a little but Lei Mei forced herself.

Lei Mei started to approach the monster, the monster was a 2-year-old antelope. The antelope has arguably low strength that is suitable for beginner training.

The deer sensed Lei Mei's existence then immediately he fielded Lei Mei's sword attack with his powerful and sturdy horns, Lei Mei tried to hold back with her feet but in the end he retreated backwards.

The deer who felt the danger from Lei Mei was about to escape but was blocked by Lei Mei, Lei Mei nimbly confronted the antelope and then attacked again.

The gazelle had no other choice, it leapt onto Lei Mei who slashed her sword forward. The antelope quickly sat on Lei Mei's body.

Lei Mei did not want to lose, she moved her sword twisting to attack the two legs of the antelope, instead of explaining the antelope was even angry and stepped on Lei Mei's body.

Lei Mei who was in pain also looked towards Cia Changyi and Yeon-Jin who did not react at all, right his mother said that the warrior world was cruel where the weak would be below.

As powerful as Lei Mei gathered her strength, she stared intensely at the antelope and with a hint of illusion that she learned secretly from the goddess inside her body she managed to shake it.

The gap was not wasted by Lei Mei, he also slashed his sword into the body of the antelope which then made the antelope retreat backwards.

Immediately after rising Lei Mei was attacked with antlers from the antelope, Lei Mei tried to resist the attack of the powerful antlers.

He was squeezed into a nearby tree, Lei Mei began to cramp due to the crush. Lei Mei boldly pushed the sword that was in her grasp.

When the distance between Lei Mei and the antelope began to stretch a little Lei Mei even ventured to hit the antlers with her bare hands.
