Chp 55: Ancestral Tomb of Sword Mountain

"I can't hurt you because you're a direct descendant of those ancestors and you're the key to my safety there if you want to get in and out safely" said Cia Changyi.

Cia Changyi took out a few slabs from his subconscious but it looked like he was taking out an object from the storage ring.

"I found this while exploring the ancestral tombs elsewhere that turned out to be connected to the ancestral tombs here, you can read it to make a decision" Cia Changyi said.

Cia Changyi proffered the sheets to Wei Lan then read them carefully by Wei Lan, at first he did not believe in the authenticity of these sheets.

But Wei Lan also studied ancient sheets and at least he could check the authenticity of the sheets from ancient times although not as great as other historians and he found the distinctive emblem of the sheet.

"Where did you get this, I think it's part of Peiling's first-century book of the law of the dead, I can look at this symbol directly and hold it, I can't believe it," said Wei Lan.

Seeing that made Cia Changyi smile, then scrupulously Cia Changyi explained the history of this sheet in detail which made Wei Lan gawk.

"Where do you know that much? Lest you find many ancient relics from the past, ah can I borrow them, I beg you," Wei Lan said.

Wei Lan did have a fairly high historian soul, he was very fond of studying history even than the practice he chose to study ancient languages to be able to read ancient monuments.

"You forgot that the sword mountain sect has an ancestral tomb that has many ancient relics, what are you afraid of anyway until you don't want to go there?" ask Cia Changyi.

"You know it or not if the tomb of the sword mountain ancestor has a dark history in terms of traps, there are already many people who did not come out alive from there including my own father," said Wei Lan.

His father Wei Lan was the head of the Wei sect who was succeeded by the Yei sect head, his father was declared dead upon entering the ancestral tomb and never returned after 10 years there.

"Your father had the courage to go in there, what do you think drove your father to enter a dangerous place that might make him unable to meet you, there must be something you need to solve" said Cia Changyi.

"Why should I?" wei Lan asked that made Cia Changyi upset and then touched Wei Lan's forehead with her fingers that made Wei Lan feel sick.

"You are a dutiful child or not, think about this well because tomorrow morning I will enter the ancestral tomb and I will wait for you there" said Cia Changyi.

Wei Lan was speechless, she chose a farewell from there but before leaving she was intercepted by Cia Changyi. "You forgot the clothes you were wearing when you came here" Cia Changyi said in a mocking tone.

Wei Lan's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, she hurried to pick up the lady's butler's shirt and put it in her storage ring and as she was about to come out she remembered something.

"Ah I must not be known to meet you otherwise I will be seen violating the orders of the sect head," Wei Lan said only to realize the reason for willingly wearing a female servant's clothes to come here.

"Geez you're so careless huh, well you can come out quietly without fear of being discovered. I will use illusions to help you" Cia Changyi said.

Wei Lan hesitated but she had no other choice but to trust Cia Changyi, as she came out all the shadow warriors behaved normally like they could not see Wei Lan's whereabouts.

Then Wei Lan rushed away and now believed that Cia Changyi was indeed a great warrior at a very young age not only because it could be illusory but also insightful.

"How about sir, did it all work out? Eh whose clothes you wear, it looks like this is not the clothes of the master and where the clothes of the lady's maid, it's because it belongs to my girlfriend," said Bai.

"The wood is in my storage ring, tomorrow I will go to the ancestral tomb so please prepare my supplies," Wei Lan said as she threw her storage ring towards Bai who was nimbly captured by Bai.

"Ah but the master there is dangerous, I don't think you should go to the swordsman's tomb so I can't have a kind master anymore" Bai said worriedly.

"You don't have to worry, you know there are many mysteries in the ancestral tomb including my father's death, if I die before I go there then I'll regret it in the next life," said Wei Lan.

The conversation was quite difficult between Bai and Wei Lan although the loser must be Bai, he reluctantly prepared the needs of his master to go to the ancestral tomb while crying.

"Geez you don't have to be that dramatic" said Wei Lan, who saw Bai as she was about to go into the bedroom to sleep.

The next day Wei Lan in neat clothes had been around the ancestral tomb and there was also Cia Changyi and Xi Li who had just arrived there.

"Oh brother Wei Lan, what are you doing here? You don't have to escort the warrior lord into the ancestral tomb, it's quiet that he won't tarnish the sanctity of the tomb" Xi Li said.

"That's not the head of the sect, but you know that my father disappeared and was pronounced dead in the ancestral tomb, at least I want to enter this tomb also mumpung there are great warriors who also want to enter," said Wei Lan.

Xi Li glanced at Cia Changyi and found a nod from Cia Changyi sign he agreed that Wei Lan could come with him into the ancestral tomb.

"Well brother Wei Lan, I hope you can survive and at least find your father's body to be given a proper burial" Xi Li said.

Then in the end they entered the activated ancestral tomb together and then a portal appeared to enter the tomb, when they had entered Yeon-Jin sneaked in.

Xi Li who saw it could not do anything because it was Yeon-Jin's movement that was very fast until finally the portal disappeared by itself.

"Geez, I hope it's not the wrong thing" Xi Li said, hoping everything would be fine.
