For days the King was in a coma in the hospital with no change in his condition. Alex and Bastian came to see the King this afternoon.
"How is it?" ask Alex.
"Well, as you can see. I had already planned to take him to the best hospital in Singapore," Darmawan replied with a face of despair.
"May it be best for the King" said Bastian.
"Yes, the doctor said the King still had hope even though it was only thirty percent," Darmawan's eyes now began to glaze over. He could no longer bear his sadness today, although a few days ago he looked strong.
Alex rubbed Darmawan's shoulder plan, "Patience Om, all this must be heavy for Om and Aunt Rianti. But, here the King must have been heavier and was struggling. We both wish him all the best."
"You're right Lex, Om and Aunt are so grateful to you for helping the King."
Alex and Bastian only reviewed each other's smiles, which they now looked at was only the King with his condition unawares. Everyone in the room hoped there would be a miracle of God for his recovery.
"Can you ask me something?" On the sidelines of silence, now Darmawan again makes a sound.
Alex and Bastian just nodded the sign there was no problem if you have to get a question from Darmawan.
"Do you know where Belly is?"
Alex and Bastian shake their heads, a sign that they both do not know where the ex-wife of the King is now.
"You really don't know?"
Alex and Bastian now nod, they really don't know where Belly is.
"Then do you know where Alan is?"
"I don't know Om, but Alex would. Alan's your cousin, isn't he?" Bastian looked at Alex confidently, it made Alex feel cornered. How can Bastian say that, even though he already knows clearly since the incident and his relationship with Alan is now not as good as before.
"I-I don't know Om, Alan seems to be out of the country." Alex did not know where his cousin was until he guessed.
"Autside the Country? Which country does Alan usually go to?" ask Darmawan.
"Japan Om," this time Bastian confidently replied.
"Oh, so."
Their conversation stopped after Rianti's arrival. All the mouths of the man were silent, none of them dared to speak. Darmawan also advised Bastian and Alex not to carelessly provide information to his wife. Because Rianti is the type of woman who is easily shaky and does not think long in digesting information.
"Hey Bastian, Alex, is it here?" Rianti greeted the two friends of his son with a friendly greeting.
"Hi Aunty," Alex and Bastian's thin smiles responded to Rianti's greeting simultaneously.
"Eh, how's Maura doing? You guys know that?"
"Not yet, uh not Auntie. We don't want to know" Bastian replied lightly.
"Oh, great. Just let the wicked woman languish in prison!" Rianti starts to get emotional when discussing Maura.
After knowing all the truth, Rianti feels guilty because he has blamed Belly without first finding out the truth.
Coupled with the King's appalling condition, Rianti continued to blame himself.
"Lex, how's Belly's baby doing?" Rianti suddenly discussed the matter of Baby.
"Oh, that's ..."
"Ma, we better get ready. This afternoon we will go to Singapore," said Darmawan cut off the conversation Rianti and Alex.
"Oke Pa," in a soft voice, Rianti also obeyed her husband's orders.
...****************...
Inside the narrow four-by-four room were two women wearing Orange suits, with each bearing a number as their new calling. The two women were lamenting their fate. There were so many regrets that came to the mind of a middle-aged woman number twenty-three, while one young woman number twenty-four just lamented her fate.
Nadia, now called prisoner number twenty-three, was sitting limply with her knees propping up her head, she had been crying ever since she first set foot into this place when Alan handed her over to the police.
If only he had not obeyed his ego, if he had not spoiled Maura so much that he had to deceive her husband. There are many ifs that fill his brain.
Now only regret is left, because of the obsession of his daughter Maura, he so dragged into the black valley and curled up in this place.
In fact, if you think again his life has been happy and prosperous since marrying Prass. However, no matter what the power, she cannot blame Maura no matter how a mother wants the best for her child. Without thinking long, the thing he did turned out to be a big mistake.
Unlike Nadia who is now regretting all her actions. Maura just kept pacing around like an iron.
He bit his index finger while thinking to get out of this jahan*m place.
"I have to get out of here" he said softly with a gaze pointed out of the room that now locked his body. He held onto an iron trellis and shook it as he continued to shout.
"Hey!!! You guys over there, get me out!"
A female officer came to him, because Maura's actions were very disturbing.
"You shouldn't have come in here" said the short-haired woman looking at him intently. The woman moved closer to Maura.
"Heuh, you know that, don't you? Then get me out now! This is not my place," Maura smiled, she felt that an officer who was talking to her right now would free her.
"Yes, you're right! Because the place you deserve is just HELL!"
"You ...." Maura was astonished to hear the woman's official remark, so she no longer knew what to say.
"If you still make a fuss, I'll cut off your hand!!!" With a bluff and a loud noise, the officer left Maura.
"Araa!!!" Maura screamed, she could not control herself until her voice boomed in every corner of the narrow room that locked her up at this time.
"Get me out!!! Watch out for you, I'll make a calculation for you if I get out of this shit*m place!!"
"My king, help me please," Maura began to whine, she now remembered the King of men whom she adored.
Nadia was silent, no longer knowing what to do. Seeing his daughter treated like that he could no longer defend her. Currently defending himself alone he was so difficult, moreover he had to defend Maura.
Advising Maura was felt useless, because every time Nadia wanted to speak up Maura always preceded to not give her a chance.
Regret is always behind, Nadia is now very sorry for having mishandled her son.
To be continue...
