The Overrated Attitude of Erlangga

Kayra had tidied up her desk because it was five in the afternoon. Most of Mahadika Gautama's office employees have already returned home. Kayra herself was still waiting for Erlangga who was still in her room. Kayra would have to wait for her boss to come home first before she went home.

Kayra immediately picked up the phone at her desk which rang.

" Good afternoon, with Kayra." Kayra greeted the caller.

" Hello Kayra. Are you going home now?" ask Rivaldi who called Kayra again this afternoon. Apparently Rivaldi was still curious because he had not managed to invite Kayra to lunch.

" I'm sorry, Mr. Aldi. I'm still waiting for Mr. Erlangga out of the office" Kayra said.

" Is Mr Erlangga still long?" There was a disappointed tone from Rivaldi's words.

" I don't know, Sir."

" If your work is done, will you not be able to go home first to Mr. Erlangga, Kayra?"

" I'm sorry, Sir. I don't dare."

This time a snorting sound was heard in Kayra's ears.

" It's best that Mr. Aldi doesn't have to wait for me."

" Okay, maybe next time we can have a closer chat outside office hours" said Rivaldi. " Can you tell me where your home address is, Kayra? Maybe I can go to your house another time if you can't be bothered in the office." Various ways Rivaldi tried to get closer to Kayra.

" Eheemm, Kayra, come into my room! And you too Mr. Rivaldi, I wait in my room! "

Both Kayra and Rivaldi were shocked when they heard Erlangga's voice on their phone. Kayra forgot that her phone number was connected to one of the telephone planes in Erlangga's room.

" B-well, sir."

" Good, Mr. Erlangga."

Kayra and Rivaldi both answered Erlangga's orders and immediately turned off their phone connections.

" Geez, why did I forget that this phone was connected to the phone on Mr. Erlangga's desk?" regret Kayra. He then stepped into his boss's office with a pounding heart. He had expected that he would get angry with Erlangga.

" Excuse me, sir." Kayra walked into Erlangga's room and glanced towards the man's face who was staring with a sharp look in his direction.

" I'm sorry, what's wrong, sir?" Kayra hoped that Erlangga would call her instead to discuss the phone issue from Rivaldi.

" So all this time you and Rivaldi have always used the office facilities for your personal affairs!?" sindir Erlangga's. " Is that Rivaldi who called this afternoon? What did you say was the wrong extension number?" Now Erlangga got up from his seat and walked closer to Kayra.

" No, Sir. I don't use office facilities for personal gain!" Kayra refuted all of Erlangga's accusations because she did not do what Erlangga accused her of.

" Recognize? Then what were you guys talking about? Rivaldi's taking you home together?" sindir Erlangga who stole the talk of Kayra and Rivaldi. Curious about Kayra's attitude when receiving a phone call this afternoon, Erlangga finally picked up the phone when the phone number connected to the phone number on Kayra's desk rang, until he could hear clearly the contents of Kayra and Rivaldi's conversation.

Kayra let out a long sigh, she felt it was natural to receive a call because the phone was ringing on her desk. The matter of Rivaldi contacting him and taking him home together was also not his wish, why did Erlangga seem to blame him? That made Kayra confused.

The sound of knocking on the door made Kayra and Erlangga look at the door.

" Excuse me, sir." It turned out that Rivaldi was seen appearing behind the door. He glanced at Kayra who was showing an annoyed face then turned towards Erlangga who was looking at him with sharp eyes.

" I'm sorry, Sir. What did Mr. Erlangga call me?" ask Rivaldi.

Erlangga went straight back to his desk and sat down on his throne chair.

" I want you to know, Mr. Rivaldi. I don't like it if any of my fellow employees are romantically involved, it just wants to disrupt concentration at work. So I hope you understand, Kayra is my secretary. I don't want her performance to be interrupted as it's fun dating you." Words of innuendo directly pronounced Erlangga with ketus.

Both Kayra and Rivaldi frowned. Rivaldi thought he never found the rules as mentioned Erlangga earlier, prohibiting fellow employees dating, unless bound in a marriage, one of the employees had to resign from work.

While Kayra considers what Erlangga mentioned earlier to be too excessive because she herself did not date Rivaldi, it is not even today that she talks to Rivaldi outside of work affairs.

" And I also don't like you guys using office facilities to talk about your personal affairs!" erlangga is back.

" I'm sorry, Sir. I won't repeat it again." Rivaldi who understood what Erlangga meant by calling the office facilities understood the intention of the boss and immediately apologized.

" I remind you once again, Mr. Rivaldi. Don't bother Kayra!" Sentences of threat came out of Erlangga's mouth.

" Good, sir." Rivaldi glanced at Kayra while thinking. Of course Erlangga's possessive attitude towards his secretary raises suspicions in Rivaldi's heart about Erlangga's true relationship with his secretary.

" You can leave my room." Erlangga let Rivaldi out of his room.

" good, Sir. Excuse me ..." Rivaldi immediately left Erlangga's study room with Kayra following behind him.

" I haven't told you to go, Kayra!" Erlangga's voice made Kayra pull her steps back as her boss' voice sounded.

" What's up, sir?" asked Kayra who was starting to feel annoyed.

" You're an employee of my trust, you know a lot about my company's secrets. And I don't want anyone approaching you just using you to get information about this company."

Kayra was stunned to hear the reason that Erlangga had said. According to him, the reasons given by Erlangga are too excessive and too contrived.

" I'm sorry, do you think that Mr. Aldi would have betrayed this company?" kayra asked because Erlangga thought it would leak company secrets.

Erlangga fell silent at Kayra's question. She did not expect Kayra to ask such a question. He thought Kayra would only deny if the woman would not be able to divulge the company secrets. If now Kayra asked like that, Erlangga himself was confused to answer with what answer? While he himself did not know why he could act as if forbidding Kayra from contact with any man.
