BEING THE CEO'S MISTRESS

BEING THE CEO'S MISTRESS
Work as Best as Possible

In her rented house, Ibu Sari was placed in a room that used to be occupied by the mother of Kayra every visit to meet Kayra in Jakarta. While Diah who served all day did not stay at Kayra's rented house. Diah will come at six in the morning and will be home after Kayra gets home from her office.

" I'm sorry, Mom, Mom. Tomorrow before six o'clock I'll get here." Diah said goodbye after a day of helping Kayra tidy up the items brought from Bandung.

" Good, Ma'am Diah. Thank you, yeah." Kayra did not forget to express her gratitude even though Diah was paid to take care of Ms. Sari.

" Together, Ma'am. Ariston ..." Diah said his greetings before leaving Kayra's rented house.

" Waalaikumsalam, be careful, Ma'am." Kayra led Diah to the porch.

" Mom better take a break first." Kayra told her mother to rest, she did not want her mother to feel exhausted even though the distance traveled Bandung-Jakarta is not too long but because her mother just returned from the hospital, she said, she was worried about her mother's health.

" You must rest, son. You have to go to the office tomorrow, right? During your time in the hospital, your sleep time will be reduced." Sari's mother knew her son could not sleep peacefully while accompanying her in the hospital.

" Kayra's okay, Mom. Mom just calm down. Let's get Kayra to the room." Kayra accompanied her mother to walk up to her mother's bedroom.

" If you need anything, I'll just call Kayra, right, Mom!?" Kayra put her mother's cell phone on a nightstand near her mother's bed so she could easily reach her when she needed help.

" Yes, I'll call you later. You better get some rest now, Kayra." Sari's mother asked her daughter to rest immediately because it was almost nine at night.

" Yes, Mom." After helping Ms. Sari lay on her bed Kayra left her mother's room and went back inside her room.

Meanwhile in a different place, Erlangga had just entered her room which looked as empty as ever. No Caroline would welcome him when he got home.

Erlangga threw his body on the bed. To be honest he was very bored with his household life which lately felt bland. Maybe only his love for Caroline alone makes him still survive with Caroline's attitude.

Ddrrtt

Erlangga picked up her phone as the flat object went off in her inner blazer pocket. He got his name Mama who appeared on the screen of his phone.

" What's up, Ma?" Erlangga immediately answered Helen's call, Mama from Erlangga.

" Have you come home, Erlangga?" ask Helen.

" Yes, what's up, Ma?" Erlangga repeated his question.

" Lang, tomorrow night Mama asked you to come to dinner at Mama's house, there's a special guest coming and you have to meet her." Helen asks her son to come to the evening event tomorrow night at her house because of the presence of someone who Helen thinks is very special for Erlangga.

" Who?" The wrinkle on Erlangga's forehead is visible when questioning about the special figure that Helen meant.

" You should come if you're curious, Lang." Helen chuckled because she felt Erlangga was very curious about her special guest.

" But my wife is not around, Ma. Caroline is in London. He's having a photo shoot there." Erlangga reasoned because if he invited dinner there should be a wife who accompanied him.

" Is your wife still ambitious about her career? Mama told you not to marry her, Erlangga! Now you see for yourself, right? He is more interested in pursuing his career. Does she think being Erlangga's wife is unimportant and not proud?" Helen who was contrary to the wishes of her son when he was about to marry Caroline seemed to find a way to corner the daughter-in-law who was not expected it.

" Ma, never mind .. My head is dizzy, don't add to the words of Mama who cornered Caroline!" Although feeling disappointed with Caroline's attitude, but Erlangga still did not like to hear his mother criticize the wife.

" That's your weakness, Erlangga! You are too weak to face your wife! You are a man and a husband, you should be able to be more assertive in attitude! You are a CEO, a famous entrepreneur. Our family is not a careless family, our family is a respectable family. Don't you think what your wife's doing will affect your good name? Our family's good name?" Helen was still not satisfied trying to influence Erlangga's attitude to act decisively towards his wife.

" Ma, stop! If you're still vilifying Caroline, I'm gonna hang up from this mom!" Erlangga was provoked by emotions because Helen repeatedly said bad things about Caroline.

" Yes, but Mama asked you to come tomorrow night even in the absence of your wife!" Helen forces Erlangga to keep coming to her dinner at her house.

" Who's the guest that Mama said was special?" erlangga asked for a clear answer from his mother.

" Agnes, Agnes is our special guest. He has returned to Jakarta. You should meet him, Erlangga." Helen sounded enthusiastic about mentioning the name Agnes, the young woman she had long hoped to be Erlangga's wife.

" Why did I meet him, Ma?" Erlangga felt that there was no one she needed other than Caroline's presence next to him so that whoever her mother meant was not important to her until she had to come to see him.

" Of course you have to meet Agnes, Erlangga! He came here to see you so you don't let him down." Helen hoped that Erlangga would not disappoint her as well as Agnes.

" Let's see tomorrow, Ma. Now I want to take a shower, I'll hang up the phone, Ma." Erlangga intended to end his phone connection because he was lazy to talk about Agnes with his mother.

" Okay, I'll see you tomorrow night." Helen ended her phone relationship with Erlangga.

Erlangga then put his phone on the bed right on his side who was lying down. His eyes closed as he took a deep breath. She didn't go straight into the bathroom to clean herself up like the reason she ended a phone conversation with her Mama.

Erlangga then turned to the phone next to him, and he took the phone back to contact someone.

" Good night, sir." A woman's voice rang out from the flat object Erlangga had brought near her ear.

" Have you reached Jakarta, Kayra?" asked Erlangga who turned out to contact his secretary.

" Already, Sir. I arrived in Jakarta this afternoon" answered Kayra.

" Alright, so tomorrow you can go back to the office as usual, right?" ask Erlangga back.

" Can, Sir. Tomorrow I will return to work in the office" Kayra said.

" okay." Short answer given by Erlangga.

" Sir ..." Kayra sounded hesitant continuing her sentence.

" What's up?" erlangga asked because she felt Kayra hesitant to say her words.

" Thank you for your concern and help with the problems that have befallen my parents." Kayra said what she wanted to say earlier.

" It's OK. I just want you to be able to do your job well without being bothered by the problems that happened with your parents." Erlangga said in a straightforward sentence.

" good, Sir. I'll work my best." Kayra said. Because that's all Kayra can do for the kindness of her boss.
