CH-57 Shezie asks for divorce from Henry
That afternoon Henry came home early, rather surprised to see that Shezie had already returned home. When he entered the house, the girl went straight to him.
Henry immediately smiled looking at her, he felt that the girl welcomed him like a real wife.
“You welcome me?” he could not hide his happiness.
“Ah no, indeed there is nothing I can do anymore,” Shezie replied.
An unkind answer for Henry, he stepped away from Shezie.
“You should welcome me when I come home,” he said.
Shezie just kept quiet to see Henry's reaction so, the man did not talk anymore, he immediately left Shezie. The girl turned her body around following in Henry's footsteps. The man entered his room and followed him to his room.
Henry went into the bathroom. Shezie pegged at the door, did he really have to say this to Henry? Should she get divorced sooner?
Shezie looked around the room. Some days living in this house, she was getting used to the atmosphere of this room, but she had to be self-conscious this was only temporary because she had to leave Henry and marry Martin.
Shezie sat on the couch, waiting for Henry to finish his bath.
Not long after Henry came out of the bathroom. In this room walk in closet adjacent to the bathroom so no need to walk around the bed again, Henry can quickly finish his clothes. When he came out of the walk in closet he was shocked when he saw Sheze was already standing looking at him.
“What's up?” henry asked, looking back at the mirror and tidying his hair with both hands.
Shezie looked at the handsome man, maybe soon he would never see him again.
“There's something I want to talk about,” Shezie said.
“What's the problem?” henry asked, looking at Shezie.
Shezie was asked so.
“Is anything important?” henry asked because he saw Shezie was silent.
“I want a divorce from you,” Shezie replied.
“What? Divorce?” Henry was surprised.
“Yes, I want a divorce from you,” Shezie replied, staring at Henry, somehow he felt so hard to say.
“Why are you talking like that?” henry asked in shock, he walked closer and closer to Shezie.
“My mom wants me to get married to Martin,” Shezie replied.
Of course Henry was surprised that Shezie's mother did not answer his words to propose to Shezie, but with Shezie's attitude that asked him to divorce he already knew the answer from Shezie's mother, his proposal was rejected.
Their eyes meet. Henry looked at Shezie sharply, not a second did he take his eyes off, of course it made Shezie feel very wrong.
“You really want to divorce me? We haven't had the blessing of my parents to get a divorce,” Henry said.
“I also have not found a solution about my parents' desire to get you pregnant fast,” continued Henry.
“Sorry Henry, I can't continue this marriage, I have to marry Martin, please understand me,” Shezie said, he started to feel restless and unstable, seeing the disappointed look on Henry's face. Why does he feel guilty about all this?
“You're seriously getting married to that jerk guy?” ask Henry.
“There's nothing I can do anymore, I have to marry her, because that's what makes my mom happy. I want if it turns out that my mother can not survive long with her illness, I want I can already make my mother happy by doing her wish before leaving,” Shezie replied, he couldn't look into Henry's eyeballs either.
The man shook his head.
“Can't, I won't let you marry Martin, he's not a good man,” Henry said.
“But Henry, I can't think about my happiness right now, I want to see my mother smile in her last days,” Shezie said.
“Your mother doesn't know Martin's bad behavior, your mother should know so won't force you to marry Martin,“ Henry said.
Henry walked closer to Shezie.
“I'm serious about paying you 1M, you mean you want to marry me because you want to take your mom out of the country, right? I'll give you the 1M at the beginning if you want, tomorrow your mother can go abroad, if it turns out the cost of treatment is more expensive, I don't mind to give additional costs,” continued Henry.
Shezie smiled at her, for some reason she suddenly felt sad to hear Henry's attention.
“I can't be like this all the time let alone your parents want you to have children soon, marrying me will just be a waste of your time, you can marry another woman, have children soon, get married, that's the best way, and there'll be no more burden on you. Rather than us having to continue this charade,” Shezie said.
“My parents don't want us to divorce,” Henry replied.
“Tell me that I'm not really your wife, just tell me I'm your paid wife, your parents will approve our divorce,” Shezie said.
“No, no, I don't want you to be humbled, I don't want my parents to know about this,” Henry shook his head.
“Sorry, Henry, I can't continue this marriage. I don't care if you don't pay me, because I don't work professionally. I put too much burden on you, I'm sorry I wanted to get this job done,” Shezie said.
Hearing Shezie's words, there was a sense of disappointment in Henry's heart, had to in any way let alone him reject Shezie's divorce request, he felt hard to divorce her.
“You're really going to marry Martin?” ask Henry again.
Shezie nodded.
“But I don't want us to divorce,” Henry said.
“But I can't, my mother has already agreed to an expedited wedding, now Martin is preparing for our wedding,” Shezie said.
Henry took a long breath.
“Are you going to be happy to marry her?” ask Henry.
Shezie nodded.
“You sacrificed yourself,” said Henry.
“This is how I return my mother's affection, I just want my mother to be happy by following my mother's wishes,” Shezie said.
“But Martin is not a good man,” Henry said.
“My mother said I will be happy with Martin, I am sure my mother's judgment will not be wrong, maybe now Martin is very annoying, but maybe after we get married he will change and really love me, he said,” says Shezie.
Henry moved closer.
“So you've made a decision?” ask Henry.
“Yes, I'm sorry, I can't help you anymore, we have to get divorced quickly, I don't want this marriage to reach my mother and make things messy again, please understand my position, please,” reply Shezie.
Hearing Shezie's words makes Henry quiet, so does Shezie.
Suddenly Henry grabbed Shezie's hand.
“Do you not know that I proposed to your mother?” ask Henry.
“I know,” Shezie replied.
“You rejected me too?” ask Henry.
“All the answers are with my mother,” Shezie replied.
“You feel happier with Martin than with me?” ask Henry.
Shezie did not reply, he just nodded his head, though in his heart he wondered what his answer was in accordance with his heart? Is it true he's happier with Martin than Henry?
