Bitter Wedding

Bitter Wedding
Towards marriage

"What's wrong with you guys? Don't you have a TV at home? Your eyes are still working fine, right?! Such advertisements are already widely distributed!" Reino is dissatisfied with the current performance of the creative team.

Ana, the chairman of the creative team can only be quiet and down, after expressing the results of his team's performance which was rejected by his leader Reino.

"You don't want a raise, do you?" ask Reino then.

"No Sir!" answer all creative teams in unison.

"Do it right again. I'll give you until two o'clock in the afternoon, if you haven't found a good idea for our advertising project, then no one's going home today," reino said then stood up and walked out of the meeting room.

The creative team breathed a sigh of relief, after their boss had left.

"Isn't he getting married soon? I thought he would turn out to be more patient and gentle, it was the same," said one of the creative team.

Ana nudges the person, as Vinda notices them.

"Dragon's talking to you" whispered Ana. After that he and his team came out of the meeting room.

After the meeting room was quiet, Winda the last person who was there also left the place. He pursued Reino's steps, until he managed to align his legs next to the man. "They are shaking you down" whispered Winda as she watched Reino's facial reaction.

"Isn't it common?" sahut Reino was relaxed.

"Are you really going to marry that woman?" ask Winda who suddenly switched the conversation.

"Yes, why?"

"Do you love her?"

"I'll try it."

"I know she looks like your late wife, but they're still different people."

This time Reino stopped his steps and looked at Vinda. "Then? Can't I like a woman who looks like my late wife?" After saying that, Reino left Winda and entered his room.

While Winda could only be silent, looking at Reino's back which then disappeared behind the door. "Why has there never been a chance for me to enter your heart?" muttered Winda who was currently disappointed.

Winda is an Accout Executive at Reino. He was also a good friend of Reino during his college days. He even had feelings for the man, since they were in college until now.

And when Reino is married to Lyla, Winda still harbors that feeling herself. He thought, after Lyla's departure, he could slowly take Reino's heart. But it turns out that he has to accept the harsh reality again, when Reino decides to marry another woman he hasn't even known for a long time.

"Are you sure you want to marry Mr. Reino?" fahmi asked as if she was worried about her son. He thinks it's all because of him. If he is not sick, maybe Eliza does not have to owe Reino who is none other than her boss in the office.

"Eliza is sure Dad, she seems like a good person. I can see that, when he was willing to sacrifice to donate his kidney to Dad," Eliza replied trying to calm her father's heart.

"Let's hope you'll be happy with your marriage. If not, then you won't forgive yourself, Dad,"

Eliza hugged her father and smiled, so that her father would no longer worry about her. "Dad not to worry. Whatever happens, Eliza's gonna stay happy if you live longer."

"Dad also hopes that after Mr. Reino marries you, you can restore the kindly Mr. Reino as before," Fahmi's inner self, while stroking his favorite child's hair.

Meanwhile, at ten o'clock in the evening Reino was still in his meeting room with Winda and his creative team. He frowned, tired of today's work.

"You have to go home, aren't you getting married tomorrow?" whispered Winda brought her body closer to Reino who was sitting next to her.

"But it's not finished yet" replied Reino.

"Tomorrow we can go on again, after all they're all tired." Winda tried to persuade Reino to be a little more generous.

"Okay, we're done today. We continue tomorrow again" Reino said before everyone.

Suddenly the creative team who had previously limp had, could breathe a sigh of relief because they were finally allowed to go home.

"Would you like to come home with me?" reino asked as he passed Winda who was still waiting for a taxi in front of the office.

Winda replied with a smile and shook his head. "I can't be alone with a man who's getting married soon" she replied.

"All right, if that's what you want. I go first" said Reino.

"Oh yeah, congratulations on your wedding." The Winda's words managed to stop Reino's steps.

"You should say that tomorrow, right?"

"Sorry, but I can't come to your wedding tomorrow." Winda still tried to smile loudly in front of the man he had liked for a long time.

"About? My old marriage you couldn't come either. Why?"

"Because I can't see you with another woman" replied Winda inwardly.

Reino was still waiting for an answer from Winda who was still silent.

"Of course it's because I have other business" he replied lying. "Even if I can't come, but I still wish you all the best. Hope you can be happy with your choice, Reino."

"Thank you." Reino finally left Winda alone in front of the office. But actually he didn't really go from there. Reino waits in the car, until Winda gets a taxi to go home. Because he is actually a warm person. She could not leave her friend alone at night, let alone being a woman.

Reino watched Winda from a distance until she got into the taxi. After making sure that Winda returned home safely, Reino started his car and left.

Reino arrived at his house at eleven p.m. After he finished cleaning himself, he lay down on his bed. His eyes glared up at the ceiling of his room. Thinking about the wedding tomorrow. Can he make Eliza happy with him, who hasn't completely forgotten his late wife? Reino kept worrying about it. If only Eliza wasn't happy marrying him.

"Just..."

A woman's voice rang out in Reino's ears. He looked at his side of his body. He saw Lyla, his late wife lying next to him. "I'm glad you found another woman who could steal your heart. I'm fine Rei, you don't have to worry. I'd be happy if you found your happiness again."

Reino stroked Lyla's face gently. He hoped that tonight would be longer, so that he could be longer beside Lyla. He did not want to wake up from this beautiful dream, a dream he might no longer be able to get after he married another woman.
