Bitter Wedding

Bitter Wedding
The Difficult Life

"Eliza, is that you?"

The voice of a middle-aged man distracts Eliza.

And that voice was the voice of his father who happened to be passing by there.

"Dad's been working? You're healthy, right?" eliza asked as she approached her father.

"Yes, my dad is very healthy. But what are you doing here? Are you here to see your husband?"

"Ah, no. I just happened to deliver a coffee order here. So I made it for Reino" replied Eliza.

"Sir Fahmi, where's the property I asked for?" said one of the production staff who happened to pass there.

"Ah yes, fine. I'll take it soon" replied Mr. Fahmi.

"Sorry El, I'm busy today. So we continue later yes talk," said Mr. Fahmi then ran to pick up the goods requested by the production team.

Instead of leaving, Eliza went after her father.

"What are you doing? I told you to go" said Mr. Fahmi, astonished to see his daughter follow him to the barn.

"I still have time, so I'll help you out for a bit. So what should we bring?" ask Eliza.

"Hmm, fine then. You can bring a box containing small balls that are there. And I'll bring these books" Mr. Fahmi said.

Eliza took the box her father meant.

Then they came out together to head for the production room.

"You don't mind taking him El?" ask Mr. Fahmi who is worried about his daughter.

"No father, Eliza is still young so she still has a lot of energy. It is precisely father who seems to be objecting," replied Eliza.

He looked at his father who seemed to be in trouble.

"No, I'm used to it" replied Mr. Fahmi.

"Is my father's job every day so hard?" ask Eliza suddenly.

"There is no easy job in this world. It all depends on how we live it. And I've enjoyed all of dad's work all this time,"

The answer from her father stifled Eliza.

For many years this time she found out what her father's job was in the company.

He thought all this time everyone who worked in an office must work comfortably.

But it turns out his mind was wrong all along.

His steps stopped, he looked at the back of his father who was still walking.

Why did he realize this time that his father was getting older?

Even before he was still working while enduring his chronic pain.

It is unimaginable how difficult it has been all this time.

"Why did you stop? The production room is still ahead,"

The voice of his father resuscitated Eliza's daydream.

He rushed to his father and resumed his journey to the production room.

"Till here. Because in addition to the staff should not enter," said Mr. Fahmi.

And Eliza just nodded according to what her father said.

But he didn't leave from there.

He still wants to see his father.

From the front of the slightly open door, Eliza looked with her own eyes.

His father kept pacing back and forth following the interruptions of the production staff.

They kept telling him to take this and that.

What a sight that makes him look at it.

"It's outrageous, Mr. Reino. Look, her father-in-law is still a lackey in the company of her daughter-in-law" said one of the female staff standing in front of Eliza.

"Yes you're right. Even worse, the men said his wife had come here to deliver a coffee order. Though she's the director's wife why she still works in a small coffee shop. It's just embarrassing" said the other woman.

Eliza was shocked to hear their conversation.

She did not expect that the people working here were busy gossiping about her husband and father.

Eliza's tears forced her to come out.

Unable to hear the insults from them Eliza came out of the office.

"Is this my job and dad's? Why do they look down on our work? What's our fault?" eliza murmur.

He looked at himself through the rearview mirror of the motor.

"Do I have to ask Reino to tell you to stop working? I could have paid for her life by still being a cafe worker. But I'd be sad if I suddenly had to lose my job,"

Having not found an answer to her concerns, Eliza decided to return to the cafe.

Reino looked at the interior of the cafe he was visiting.

Ever since he met Eliza a few months ago, he has kept on thinking about her.

I don't know what was on his mind, but when he accidentally saw the former cafe that was sold he immediately bought it.

And when Eliza accepted her proposal, she decided to give the cafe as a gift for the woman.

Today the cafe is finished in renovation.

The cafe is designed with a minimalist feel.

The interior is gray and white and the seats are maroon red.

And there are large glass windows on the four sides of the corner of the cafe.

A mini stage for live music.

Reino was very satisfied with the design of this cafe.

He couldn't wait to show it to Eliza.

So his wife no longer needed to work in a small cafe.

Soon he will have his own cafe.

Before leaving, Reino observed the signboard of the cafe outside the building.

Make sure there are no errors in the writing.

It was called La'liza Cafe.

Hopefully Eliza likes that name, Reino thought.

Now he just has to pick up Eliza at work.

He was impatiently waiting for the reaction from his wife when he saw the surprise gift from her.

Just as she arrived there, Eliza came straight out of the cafe where she worked.

He got into Reino's car.

Although Eliza had not completely forgotten about the incident this afternoon, but she did not want her husband to worry about her.

The problems he faced were enough to keep to himself.

"So where are we going?" eliza asked as Reino's car began to run.

"Just wait. You'll find out later" replied Reino.

He really is the type of person who is good at stringing sweet words.

Though it was not his desire to say cold things to Eliza.

He had sometimes practiced to talk more sweetly, but when he was in front of the woman suddenly everything he said was different from what he thought.

I don't know when he'll be this cold.

But he hopes Eliza will wait until she is ready to change into a better person.

Eliza frowned as Reino's car arrived at the cemetery courtyard.

"So he wants to bring me here? Hmm not my intention to refuse his invitation to visit his late wife. But because it turns out that this doesn't match my expectations," Eliza's inner self as she gets off Reino's car.

"Because it's through here, so we'll stop by here for a bit" Reino said.

Again he could tell what Eliza was thinking without having to ask her.

Eliza looked only at her husband who seemed to still love her late wife.

He didn't know until when he should be number two after the woman.
