BLACK BIRDS IN MAHLA'S EYES

BLACK BIRDS IN MAHLA'S EYES
Greetings Marya

Half blinded by the tears that continued to flood her cheeks, Marya walked heartily through the darkness of the night. He did not remember how he got out of the prayer room, and was on a street lit only by the moonlight. He also ignored the ugly bald creatures that inhabited the former room of the barn, holding him back as he rested on his little altar.

In fact, usually Marya is quite fierce to drive away the ugly creature so as not to disturb him while praying. That night all she thought about was her penance, she felt so filthy and despicable, while the voices of her late husband echoed constantly in her head.

Marya thought of only one place where she could confess her wrongdoings. He stepped in the middle of the blind night toward Father Samone's tiny house just behind the church.

*

Mahla is surprised that the bald creature just appeared to her. He remembers his childhood spent with fear due to the ignorant behavior of the warehouse guardian creature. The shape may not be too bad compared to other creatures he has met, but this one midget creature has

the ignorance is amazing, and it won't stop interrupting before it gets bored of itself.

“Polsie, where's mom?” Mahla asked the bald creature floating lightly before her. Mahla was forced to retreat a bit because Polsie brought her ugly face closer to Mahla until their noses almost touched if only the creature was solid. Polsie though not as transparent as other ghosts, still

it does not have a solid form like humans. It was more like a very irritating plume of smoke.

Marya's crazy…

Polsie murmured while holding it in a very discordant voice, making Mahla very upset to hear it, especially after capturing what the ghost was muttering, Mahla was getting furious.

“Hey! Watch what you say!” Snapped Mahla at Polsie who was giggling over her. The midget ghost was lying upside down in the air right above Mahla's head. He repeatedly demonstrated the position of the person urinating on Mahla's head.

“Stop, Polsie!” Mahla was angry. The ghost was indeed very ignorant and brash, he also always refused to leave the Mahla family's house despite being evicted many times. “Polsie, stop now!” Mahla could no longer hold back her anger. From inside his body immediately shot out a luminescent energy that instantly made Polsie thrown away from her place.

“I've warned you.” Mahla growled while staring at Polsie sharply. The midget ghost then grimaced to show off its fangs that looked very sharp even from a distance.

She was angry just like her mother. But he's not crazy, only Marya is crazy. Marya crazy…

Polsie's ejek was loud enough that his murmur was heard in Mahla's ear. “Not enough of my warning, Pols?” Mahla yells fiercely. He wanted to destroy the ugly ghost until it disappeared forever. He can do it. He'll do it.

Concentrated, Mahla imagines pure energy flowing from her body to her fingertips, the sixteen-year-old girl then points her index finger at Polsie who now looks very frightened to see the figure of Mahla.

Mahla let her power take over, the black wings filled her sight.

Don't insult my mother.

Mahla imagines that power radiating from every inch of her body surface.

“Goodbye, Pols.”

Not yet had that energy left his body, things had become colder and cooler. Four large wings spread out wide in front of Mahla. That figure was so beautiful that it was inhumane. An ice sword was clasped tightly in his left hand.

“Am I in danger?” Mahla asked was very surprised to realize the presence of the family. Barukh turns his head towards Mahla, while Polsie's ghost is only a charred trail on the floor of Mahla's house due to a sudden burst of Baruch energy.

The end is near.

Voices

Barukh clinks with great sweetness in Mahla's ears. What the hell does he mean? He had not yet asked, the protective spirit had evaporated into a cold air that blew Mahla's face.

Marya knocked on Father Samone's door in a great hurry. He could no longer bear all the feelings that were afflicting him that night. “Good father, please help me.” Mahla exclaimed in the middle of the night where there was only a moon shining brightly above them.

The atmosphere of the night was too quiet, not even the sound of the usually earthy night beast was heard.

It took some time for Father Samone to reach his door, for the godly man had already prepared for sleep after the evening prayer. The priest was already dressed in full clothes when he opened the door, and tried not to seem too surprised to see Marya, who looked fervently standing at his door.

Father Samone led Marya to the church, and led her into the not-so-great building together. After turning on the lights, he could clearly observe Marya's condition which looked very unfavorable. “What happened?” Ask Father Samone gently. He patted Marya's back and let her spill all the sadness that came from her eyes.

“Father, I am truly sinful. I'm a damned woman, Father! From my womb are born cursed children!” Marya was uncontrollable. The pastor did not at all expect that kind of speech he would receive in the middle of the night blind. “Don't talk like that, Marya, tell me what's bothering you.” Persuade Father Samone to be patient while Mahla's mother still sobbing loudly.

“Father, I should have listened to my husband's words, as well as my father's. I shouldn't have followed Nana, I don't want my kids to fall like Nana.” Bisik Marya kalut's. His mind was not in its current place, he only remembered the pain resulting from the strength that Nana had inherited. “Father, help me lift all this pain.” Pinta Marya suddenly knelt down.

The godly priest was aghast when he saw Marya who suddenly knelt down. “My child, your mind is filled with sadness, come pray with me.” Invite Father Samone as he invites Marya to stand. He led Marya's arm towards the altar where there were usually elaborate flower arrangements given by the people to beautify the table

that's. But that night, there was only a big cross of brass with no less tall candles left there.

Father Samone took Mary on her knees and began the Our Father and Hail Mary's prayer. The pastor will continue the rosary and hope that the people he loves will find peace in his heart again.

Right after the third Hail Mary prayer, she turned to Father Samone, with a trace of tears still on her cheek, her words shaking Father Samone into her bones.

“Father, I know Father realized something about my children, especially Mahla."

His voice was so deep and calm that there was never a manic episode

just showed it. No more hysterical cries or crazy talk that Marya constantly throws

like a few moments before. It was as if the woman who had just spoken was another very different figure.

“For that, I want to ask for your help to guide him.”
