BLACK BIRDS IN MAHLA'S EYES

BLACK BIRDS IN MAHLA'S EYES
The Ravenna story

Ravenna saw a black painted farmhouse on the lips of the forest, and immediately decided to knock on her door. It was a middle-aged woman with a tall body and black hair that she always coiled. After her drunk husband kicked her out of the house, Ravenna spent a few days in his pocket. He had gone to many houses to ask for a job, but no one wanted to hire a seedy woman, with many traces of rinses on her body, and with no apparent origin in their home.

Ravenna had walked for more than four days after finally seeing the farmhouse on the forest's lips. The house was large and had open land, lined with clove trees with towering black trunks fenced around the house, instead of iron fences. From a distance, Ravenna could hear the moaning of cows in the

between the noisily of the hen, and several times he even heard the neighing of the horses.

It looks like the home of one of the wealthy nobles.

Ravenna sat there waiting for the door in front of her to open. Here and there Ravenna saw the busyness of the residents of the house in the open land that is located next to the house. Some people are seen starting to attack water, cut meat, and some make porridge/rice. Like a makeshift kitchen in a refugee camp. The woman also saw many people waiting in line with their food.

What is this place?

He remembers being confused. Never before had he seen such a big house with so many poor people in its courtyard. It even seems like the homeowner is providing endless food.

A woman with a rounded stomach opened the door of a house made of heavy wood. Ravenna saw the pair of female eyes tightly clenched, but it did not seem to block her movement at all. “Who?” Say hello to the girl is friendly. Ravenna will not forget the row of clean and neat teeth that were seen when the woman turned her smile on her face.

“Congratulations, noon, Mistress. I'm Ravenna, does Madam own the house?” Ravenna asked politely as she introduced herself. He saw that the woman who had never opened her eyes was nodding slowly. “Come in, Ravenna.” Invite him friendly, making Ravenna feel very moved by it. No one has ever welcomed this seramah before.

“Leave your luggage outside, someone will bring it to your room.” Said the friendly woman again when Ravenna was about to lift her luggage that only contained a few pieces of clothing in an old bag that had many seams released here and there.

“I mean, mistress I can work here?” Ask Ravenna in amazement. The woman nodded slowly, ”You see, here is a lot of work you can do, can you cook?” ask the hostess again. “Come, enter first, you must eat and clean yourself immediately.”

Like a puppy who has just met his new employer, Ravenna follows the kind-hearted woman into a mansion that will be his residence until the end of his life.

After a long stay in the mansion, Ravenna begins to realize that her mistress is often talking to herself on the empty walls of her room. He was always whispering indistinctly among murmurs that no one understood.

Later, her grim-faced male employer, often locked herself in the back room without anyone being allowed to enter. Ravenna thought there was something the rich couple was hiding, and they didn't want anyone to know about it.

“Mistress, I bring warm porridge.” Ravenna said one morning after knocking on her master's bedroom door. The woman nodded softly as she fumbled at the edge of the wall and sat back in her chair. “Rav, one day I will go.” Said the master with a haggard face, as if he had traveled far away.

At that time, Ravenna assumed, her female employer wanted to leave her life that seemed lonely and miserable. Although many people were in the house from morning until night, however, the female master was always alone. There was a strange aura that Ravenna felt every time she approached the female master.

It's like a corpse's foot.

Ravenna shuddered at a glance to feel the feet so cold and pale, she carefully then attached the blanket to the body of her master who began to fall asleep in her chair.

Ravenna repeats every incident that has happened to her in the house since her arrival. Most of them are strange and awkward, but he often ignores it as long as he can work and has a place to live there. In his hand was a silver tray with a small porcelain bowl containing meat soup for Magdalene. “Since long ago indeed this house is strange.” Mumbled slowly. He often found a pair of eyes with a flame peering between the shadows. Ravenna often ignored him, but the longer the presence of the eye the more often he met. However, although the eye was lit up, but the situation in the house was still dark and cold.

No matter how often they changed the lights brighter, the house was still gloomy.

The flame in the fireplace is never strong to drive away the cold that bites the skin. Ravenna walked slowly towards the back room that had been forbidden to them all along. He had heard stories from gardeners who did not improve what he felt. It is said that the house is inhabited by soul-eating old demons, what happened to the hostess was caused by the devil who preyed on her soul.

Meanwhile, her male employer found out about it and went mad for not being able to prevent it. That said, his mistress could not open her eyes because wherever she looked, the old demon would appear to prey on her, and, yes, yes, the demon managed to burn the soul of his beloved Madam to the point that only the body casings were not contained.

Ravenna shuddered to throw the horror stories out of her mind when she saw a pair of eyes with a flame that often appeared to peek back from the sidelines of gray curtains in the hallway-shaped room that connects middle room with back room.

“For Heaven!” Pekik Ravenna was shocked. Those pair of eyes were looking at him silently without any form. Ravenna felt her heartbeat rumble in her ears, was it the devil who preyed on her female master?

In the next seconds, Ravenna felt her body stiff and unable to move. “Please,” whispered Ravenna, “Go there, don't disturb us!” He said to vent. But a figure of the creature began to materialize slowly before him. Ravenna felt her voice disappear, the creature was huge, enormous. A black body with tears on its body, in which screamed voices that it would never forget.

Fire danced all over his body, and his head, oh! His head was a thousand scorpions with an angry hissing claw. His pair of eyes were empty, bottomless black holes. Ravenna felt sucked bit by bit into it. “Don't, don't disturb us!” Ravenna's fizzle last time. He fell down with

trays are scattered everywhere. The soup that had just boiled flushed against his body, he could not even feel the heat, for fear wrapped him up like a cocoon that locked his body.

He just wanted to close his eyes, and did not want to wake up again under the gaze of a sinister creature with fire crackles all over his body.
