BLACK BIRDS IN MAHLA'S EYES

BLACK BIRDS IN MAHLA'S EYES
Melech's Vision

Sharai is everywhere. Melekh looked at his firelight every time he turned around. The first time he came into contact with the female demon was when he caught a flash of flame in Jerry's eyes. He suspected Sharai had broken himself into small parts that easily infiltrated. Like a spark of embers, Sharai will scorch the places he has stopped.

And now, Melekh was very restless to see the fire begin to glimmer in Mahla's eyes. Day in Maana her mother is back to how she was. Upright and stiff. The iron-tight hair tie was back at the top of his head.

No one would have thought that her mother a few weeks ago had returned to the realm of the soul in order to give help to the old man named David, who was suffering from the loss of Shoshana.

Even his own sister, Mahla, was apparently determined to forget the fact that her mother was just like them, ignoring that her mother was as indigent as her two children. However, both Mahla and her mother are seen avoiding the topic, in order to muffle the quarrel in the big house that always feels gloomy.

“Stop bitching mom with your questions, and start regretting your sins in the prayer room!” His mother exclaimed as Mahla showered him with questions in the morning as his mother returned. Melekh knows where his mother went. The church is another place besides the prayer room where her mother used to take shelter.

There are still many people coming and going to meet Mahla, but her mother just let it go, even though she is always upset whenever Mahla meets her guests on the porch. The atmosphere of their house almost feels normal if only that afternoon he did not realize the absence of Polsie, a ignorant ghost who usually bothers Arlou and himself.

Dragged, Melekh approached the pensive Mahla on the porch after meeting one of her guests who asked her to find her husband's gift pendant (my husband came to me every night knowing I lost it!), her sister seemed to be enjoying the summer sun shining down on her. His long hair looks shiny from a distance, giving a really awesome effect.

“Melekh.” Sapa Mahla when he finally managed to drag his limp feet to the veranda. “You sunbathe?” Follow her brother as he watches her approach. Arlou followed in his footsteps like an extremely fierce shadow. He hissed several times at Mahla's guests, and Melekh swore once that Arlou was ready to attack the other guests.

“Pppollsssiiiieee..” Melekh said with difficulty when the two faced each other. The young man was a little taller than his brother, but because of his deformed hands, his back was permanently curved and bent, making them both the same height now.

Mahla looked a little surprised at the question. “Why look for that ignorant ghost?” Ask Mahla curious. “Arrlloouu” Melekh said as he pointed at his sizzling cat loudly towards Mahla. A question just popped into Melekh's mind.

Since when was Arlou so fierce to Mahla?

Mahla completely forgets that the bald ghost has an odd bond with Melekh's cat. He often captures their strange togetherness in the corners of the house. With a feeling of extreme discomfort, he sends out a memory of Polsie being disbanded due to Baruch's presence.

It wasn't Baruch who destroyed Polsie!

Melekh was angry inside Mahla's head. The girl could even hear Arlou's pouting voice in her mind. “Wait, what do you mean Melekh?” Mahla asked in disbelief seeing the accusations in Melekh's eyes. Even Arlou was unceasingly baring fangs at him.

"Kkkaauuu destroyed P-p-polssiie!" Melekh loudly. Goggled wide, Mahla's eyes looked at Melekh furiously. He saw Arlou at his brother's feet and began to growl threateningly at him.

“Dear of your behavior, Arlou!” Tegur Mahla is getting upset. Since the events with Polsie, he has become more irritable to anyone. “And why are you accusing me?” Ask Mahla hard. His mother who was collecting dried clove flowers, which were not far from them even turned her head to him.

The only thing that never happened in the family was Mahla's quarrel with Melekh. Both of them always get along from the first day they are born. Mahla loves Melekh very much and will do anything to protect him. Vice versa. Seeing them screaming at each other like this inevitably provoked Marya's attention.

“What's up, why are you yelling at your sister?” His mother shouted as she rushed to them.

*You know, the devil easily possesses you when a little bit of your *hat contains spite.

Mahla sees Polsie burning in place. That night his mother disappeared, and Baruch said something like the end of all beginnings. What does the spirit want to tell him? That night Mahla was very upset because Barukh was always a riddle.

It is said that Baruch is the embodiment of the highest spirit that became the protector of his family during the generations, his energy power is infinite to the point of being able to disperse other spirits that are too close to him. But why couldn't he tell her what exactly he meant?

The girl fell asleep feeling very upset. He was angry at Father Samone who asked his mother about Melekh. He did not believe the pastor did not know what happened to his brother if he mixed with the honorable people.

He is also very angry at Jerry who seems to be under Sharai's control. The man was known to be very diligent to the church, the time of all that can not help him from the influence of the female devil?

Not to mention his mother's constantly changing attitude. Once upon a time she seemed like a great psychic lord of the soul realm, yet at other times she turned into a miserable woman who was tormented because of her past. Mahla felt her blood stir with anger. He was eager to vent it on something, and unconsciously, he grinned considering Polsie who was now only a remnant of dust in their home.

He fell asleep with a feeling of spite.

However, that night, his dream was no longer gloomy and gray. He dreamed the sun had come to him. So big and round right. With an orange color that gilded his dark and gray world, it became vivid and colorful.

He was glad to welcome her.

Mahla dances around her sun. Feeling so warm and happy. He touched everything in his dream, painted cheerful patterns. Orange-yellow-red, are the colors of the sun that fulfill his dream.

When things felt too bright and dazzling, Mahla gasped and woke up in her bed.

The flames started to enter his open pair of eyes.

I will live as I should.

In the third of the night, with the sweat flooding his forehead, and the shadow of the warm sun in his arms, Mahla promised, he would do whatever he wanted.

From the shadows of the night, the owner of the pointed head with a thousand scorpions on it scratched his black dagger into one of his exposed flesh.

By Mahla.

He left a trail of flames in his place. One by one part of him began to crawl a pair of eyes of the girl he had been after for so long.
