Chapter 16 Stuck and Ended
The clock shows at 2 am, only the sound of typing from a laptop inside Rina's house. Not from Toni's laptop, but from Rina's laptop. Rina sat in front of the laptop reading the documents handed over by Mr. Barkah this afternoon. The project of building a shopping center on the edge of the city became the next project that must be researched by Rina after several months of not working. The work of Mr. Barkah is really grateful by Rina, at least he can earn income to support himself with Elijah. Rina opened the door when there was a knocking sound from Marni and Bambang standing in front of the door while carrying food wrappers. Lina was silent for a moment, trying to control her emotions. Lina cried in Marni's arms, feeling finally no need to hold back her emotions. Marnie could say nothing more. He realized that Helnina always comes at an important time in her family. The living room was suddenly quiet. Elijah glanced at the adults around him, trying to understand what they were fussing about. Before long, there was the sound of a car approaching Rina's house. The sound of a car with a diesel engine is no stranger to Rina's ears. He tried to remember when he saw the car parked in front of his house. Rina, Marni and Bambang got up from their seats. The scout, a snake ambushed quickly the solemn owner of the eyeball noticed Toni. The snake manages to ambush the female chameleon. Smaller male chameleons can do nothing while chameleons are already hiding in a safe place. The female chameleon fights with her body size. The bride's tear leaf fell because of the great battle between the chameleon and the snake. Finally the snake fell and left the courtyard of Lina's house. The female chameleon is bound lethargic among the bridal tears. Irregularly her stomach moves, I don't know how much longer the female chameleon will survive.
