Chapter 8 The Delivery

A quiet afternoon in the residential neighborhood of Rina and Toni. Seen some children go home to the basketball court while trading to one of his friends who still do not smoothly dribble basketball. Rina was distracted by something that moved quickly due to being hit by a splash of water. Rina followed the motion of the object and found that the fast moving was a chameleon. Rina cringed her forehead, before long another chameleon that was larger than the other side of the bush appeared and approached the chameleon that she had flush. Rina smiled slightly at the two chameleons who were the inhabitants of her plant. The two chameleons looked at each other, occasionally sipping a stream of water flowing on the leaves. Happy, life is assured with a decent place to live. Somehow Rina thought like that, maybe she thought that these two chameleons were a couple. Just like her with Toni.

On a whim, Rina walked slowly to shut off the flow of water then returned to the bride's tear plant. Thinking of something by Rina, it is possible that these two chameleons are in pairs and have been breeding as well. Rina slightly lowered her head, observing the ground under the bridal tears. Carefully, Rina surveyed the ground trying to find the eggs of the Chameleon Family. Rina's feet scavenged the part of the ground covered by the bride's tear leaf. Lina tried not to get too down or move her legs firmly so as not to make her and the baby in her stomach hurt. Rina's right foot moved a pile of leaves covering the basin on the ground. Rina scrunched her forehead looking at one white object shaped like an American Football sports ball with a more pointed tip located there. Lina did not know what kind of thing she had just seen. His premonition said that it was a chameleon egg but he had never seen what a chameleon egg looked like.

Rina took the HP from her negligee pouch and took a picture of the object she found to find out.

“Oooh, really it turns out,” said Rina slowly.

Rina smiled knowing that the two chameleons she had found were indeed a pair. Remembering Rina on Lisa who used to give the bride's tear plant as an engagement gift. He did not expect that the gift from his best friend to be a simple picture of the family he built with Toni. Finished getting an answer, Rina intended to put her HP back in the negligee bag while still looking at the chameleon eggs she found. Rina reflex lowered her head in fear of getting wet from the flush earlier and suddenly an unbearable pain attacked Lina's stomach. Rina held onto a thick canopy pole and tried to regulate her breathing.

“MAS!” rina shouted at Toni.

Rina regained her breathing.

Lina looked around. Sepi, children and traders who had passed by were not seen when they had not approached Maghrib. Rina tried to calm down, re-regulating her breathing to prepare to shout out to Toni. He does not want to expend a great energy, afraid of anything happening.

Toni takes the headset off her ear and turns off her laptop. This time, there were no cigarettes or ashtrays in Toni's office. Toni got up from her seat and stretched herself after a long period of sitting working on a scenario for her project with Helnina.

Toni opens the car door helping Rina sit in the front seat. Toni looked at the back seat, trying to make sure the suitcase and various other equipment were already in the car. Toni slowly closes the car door and walks towards the door to secure her home before heading to the Hospital. The chameleon family noticed from the bridal teardrops the busyness experienced by their neighbors. They peck, perhaps remembering that their turn will soon come.
