Chapter 19 - Knowing Zayn's Rottenness

Three months later...

Maudy prepared her husband's suit to wear to the office, and he walked into the kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch.

Since the last 2 months, Maudy routinely brought her husband lunch because she knew the man's schedule was so crowded that the two rarely met for lunch together.

Maudy trusts Zayn again if her husband has changed and focuses only on her and her future baby.

Finished with the kitchen, Maudy returned to the room where she put on her husband's tie.

"Today you don't have to bring me food?"

"Why?"

"The client invited me to lunch outside."

"You can bring your food and order a drink" Maudy suggested.

"It can't be."

"Tell me if you can't eat except wife's cooking" Maudy said.

Zayn laughed.

"You don't want to flatter and praise me in front of them?"

"Not not to, but ...."

"Well, I won't bring you supplies" Maudy was about to leave but her husband's hand prevented her from moving.

Zayn kissed his wife's lips.

Maudy pushed her husband slowly.

Zayn knelt down and kissed his wife. "My son, take care of Mama, yeah!"

Maudy again had to blush in shame because of the romantic attitude of her husband.

Zayn stood up, looked at his wife and kissed her forehead.

"Did you want to keep peeping all over my body all day?"

"If there's no work I'll be with you all day" Zayn replied with a warm smile.

"And the fact that during our marriage, you were with me all day on your vacation in Dubai." Maudy broke her husband's answer.

"Sorry!"

"Yes, I understand you. Come on, breakfast, you'll be late!"

"I'm the boss, there's no way they're scolding me."

"They won't scold you but Papa Tian will definitely dare to rebuke you and be the boss who can be the role model of the employees."

"Well, wife!" Zayn pulled Maudy's nose.

"It looks like you're happy with my nose always menoel," he said.

This afternoon, Maudy went shopping with Karen. Yeah, she's more comfortable going with her best friend and her mom.

They will shop for daily necessities in a supermarket.

"I think you're going shopping for the needs of a baby" Karen said.

"We don't know her gender yet, so next month we'll buy her. It's still six months, too" Maudy said.

"Oh, so."

"How are your sister and mother?"

"They're all healthy."

"Thank God" said Maudy.

"All because of you too, Dy."

"Me?"

"Yes, you always strengthen me and help with their medical expenses even if you also need a fee to pay your family's debts" Karen said, pushing a trolley.

"Even though I don't lend you that money, it will be less to pay off my father's debts and I'll still marry Zayn."

"I hope your marriage is okay, if she dares to fuck around I'm ready to help you!"

Maudy smiled faintly and said, "Thank you!"

After shopping, Maudy and Karen had lunch at the restaurant in the mall.

Fifteen minutes later, their order arrived. Maudy and Karen started to enjoy the dish casually and chatted with each other.

While eating lunch, Karen's eyes saw Zayn holding Milka's hand. "It looks like it's your husband!"

Maudy then turned her head, and her heart fell apart. Maudy got up from her seat. However, Karen prevented him and told him to stay calm.

"It's a public place, Dy. Don't because your screams surprise your baby-to-be" advises Karen.

"So long he's been lying to me, Ren. I want to part with him!"

"Gather the evidence first, don't be rash. Your in-laws will definitely defend and support you!"

"Yes, after this child is born I will leave it!"

"I agree whatever your decision is as long as it's good."

Maudy.

"I'll take a picture of them, wait here!"

"Yes" Maudy said as she held back her tears.

A few minutes later, Karen managed to take 2 photos of the two cheating partners and handed them to her best friend.

"Better now we go home!" take Karen.

Maudy was in her room enjoying a television broadcast, though her heart was not afraid to choose silence when her husband greeted her and gave a kiss on her forehead.

"Are you sick?" ask Zayn gently.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Do you want us to go to the doctor?"

"No."

"You have to go to the doctor because there is a potential child for us" Zayn said.

"I don't need a doctor to treat my pain" Maudy said.

"Oh, you want me to take care of you?"

"Not really," he answered.

"Why you?" Zayn stroked his wife's hair.

"Do you love her?"

"meaning?" Zayn pretended not to understand.

"Milk."

"You still think me and him have a relationship again?"

"Not thinking anymore, but it's true that you still have a relationship with him!" Maudy lifted her head.

"I have nothing to do with him!" Zayn tried to argue.

"Enough, I don't need an explanation from you!" Maudy turned off the television and got out of bed. "After this child is born let's end it all!" continue saying.

"No, Maudy. I don't want to part with you!" Zayn said firmly even though he wanted a farewell.

"I'm tired, Zayn!"

"I have nothing to do with him!" Zayn gave his reasons.

"Last lunch at the mall restaurant, wasn't that you?"

Zayn.

"You two go, this is why you refused my food!"

"No, Maudy!"

"You married me but loved another woman, what if you were in my position?" asked Maudy in a high tone.

"I love you, Maudy. The proof is our baby-to-be" Zayn replied as he touched his wife's stomach.

Maudy brushed off her husband's hand, "Don't touch me!"

"All right!"

"Since I was pregnant, you've never touched me!"

"You want us to do it?"

"No!" reject it firmly. "I would never want to be touched by a traitor like you!" he continued saying loudly.

"You misunderstood" said Zayn.

"Still in denial too," Maudy laughed cynically.

"Calm down, you're pregnant!" Zayn tried to restrain his wife's emotions.

Maudy managed to keep her breath calm even though she wanted to vent all her anger.

"Sit down!" Zayn grabbed a glass on the nightstand and gave it to his wife. "Drink!" said gently.

Maudy drank it.

From dinner to bedtime, Maudy remained silent.

Zayn tried to make his wife smile again. However, Maudy remained unmoved.

The woman chose to close her eyes because she was very lazy to talk or look at her husband.

Zayn also broke down his body and closed his eyes.

A few minutes later, Zayn's phone rang. The man woke up and answered the call.

Maudy who also woke up, pretended to close her eyes. She opened her eyes slightly when she heard her husband's footsteps.

Maudy then slowly pulled over the blanket. Carrying her cell phone, she followed her husband's steps secretly.

Luckily the door was not closed so Maudy did not have to open it again.

Zayn stepped into the back of the house away from his room and his housekeeper.

Unbeknownst to her husband, Maudy turns on her cell phone's video camera recording all of Zayn's conversations.

"When the child is born, then the land and company will be mine and we get married."

"I promise you because my parents only want grandchildren. After that, they'll dump him."

"Our marriage is just business and mutual benefit, she's paying off debt and I need company and land."

"I don't care about her, I just need a child in her womb to make our desires come true."

Maudy who heard it covered her mouth, her body trembling. He quickly left his hiding place and returned to the bed.

Upon hearing the sound of footsteps entering the room, Maudy pretended to close her eyes.

Maudy tried to hold back her tears, so as not to be discovered. He had to hurry out of this house.
