Camelia Rahma: You are my soul mate
Camelia's Heartbeat

Hello everyone, sorry just up again. Lately I have a lot of activity in my real world. So, hopefully you guys understand. All right, without saying much more, enjoy this reading 🤗

...***...

"Uncle is funny," said Carissa smiled by displaying a row of milk teeth.

"You're funny too" Abra said as she pulled Carissa's nose.

"Uncle, when did you get married?" carissa's question suddenly made Abra choke on the macaroon.

Camelia reflexively gave the tea she had not had time to drink to Abra, whose face had turned red.

"Thank you" said Abra, making Camelia nod her head.

Camelia then turns to Carissa who suddenly feels guilty by biting her fingernails. Honestly, Carissa didn't mean to make Abra choke. Carissa is a child. What does he say if his words can make someone choke.

Carissa also kept bowing in fear of Camelia who might scold her. But Carissa's conjecture was wrong as she received a gentle elusan in her head. He looked up and saw Camelia smiling to calm him down.

"Sorry mother, Carissa was not intentional."

"It's okay, your uncle is better now, but next time don't act like that again. Because it's not polite."

"Carissa promise."

Abra, who was no longer choking, raised Carissa to sit on her lap. He wanted to calm Carissa down.

"Sorry uncle, Carissa's been disrespectful."

"Hem." Abra also stroked Carissa's head gently.

"Uncle descending," said Carissa.

"Where are you going?"

"You play basketball again."

"You want to accompany me?"

"No, uncle just look at Carissa from here."

"Accept ...."

Not even Abra finished his words, Carissa had already run away from them and went to pick up the basketball. Abra and Camelia stayed there.

Abra scratched his forehead because he did not know where to start again. After all Camelia must have been a little awkward to him after learning about his matchmaking problems. They were silent for a long time before Abra opened the conversation.

"Cam," call Abra.

Camelia who was playing her phone turned to Abra. "Yes, what's wrong?"

"Do you feel better?"

Camelia put her phone on her desk and answered questions she thought were strange from Abra.

"Alhamdulillah, yes. As you can see. Even as it almost happened when I wanted to teach Carissa to play basketball."

Abra nodded her head in pleasure. Then without her expecting it, Camelia congratulated him.

"Oh yes, congratulations. Sorry I just said it now."

"Well! Oh that, don't congratulate me, Cam. Because I don't agree to it" Abra said languidly.

As a short response, Camelia chuckled at Abra's words.

"You're stalking me?"

"50% yes, 50% no."

"You're teasing?"

"Ngga, it's just that your voice looks funny. Look, you can even be together now."

"But I wasn't expecting it."

"I wonder at you. You and Delia used to be so sticky. Now that it's been made close, you want to stay away. You're still Abra!"

"Yes. Think of me as a stupid man" said Abra who actually said he was stupid because he had made Camelia stay away.

"Eh, I didn't say that" Camelia said.

"I know, but the truth is. Sorry for ignoring you so long ago."

"It is over, from now on you must accept your condition."

"And you, would you like to come too?" abra asked Camelia.

"You mean?"

...***...

Inside the house, Papa Carel who just came home from the office, then went to the backyard to meet Carissa who said Mama Lia was learning to play basketball. All the way to the backyard, the smile on Papa Carel's face never faded.

How not? Carissa looks so adorable in Papa Carel's eyes. Moreover, Papa Carel also knows how the growth of Carissa since she knew her son, Camelia when Papa Carel often visited her in Turkey. For him, Carissa had been considered as his own grandson who made no difference later if starting a biological grandson from Camelia.

Papa then turned the doorknob and returned to his feet to the backyard. Papa Carel slightly stopped his footsteps when he saw Carissa was serious about playing basketball herself. But it was only for a moment because Papa Carel called out to him while stretching out his hand so that Carissa would immediately approach him. Carissa, who heard Papa Carel call her, just threw the ball in any direction and ran towards Papa Carel.

"Opah, Carissa misses" he said after being embraced by Papa Carel.

"Opah misses too."

"Opah, Carissa has started to be smart playing basketball! Does Opah want to see?" carissa said enthusiastically.

Carissa nodded in response. Then he pulled out Papa Carel's hand to join them. When Papa Carel arrived there, Abra stood up to Papa Carel to kiss his hand.

"Sore, um."

"Son Abra, been here a long time?"

"Yes pa, Abra has been here a long time. It's just coming home" Camelia chirps suddenly making papa switch to it.

Then without realizing Abra, Papa Carel gave Camelia an eye code as if to say that Camelia should not behave like that to their guests. Camelia immediately realized what she had said just now. Even though it was only a few minutes after what he had taught Carissa, he had forgotten because he wanted Abra to quickly go home to his own house because papa had come.

Camelia enters the house with Carissa. Now live Papa Carel and Abra who are still talking casually there.

"I heard you were fooled by Samuel's son" Papa Carel said after they sat down. Unwillingly, Abra was forced to nod her head in agreement.

"Good son."

"Yes, um."

"When is the date set?"

"Eh, that. Abra doesn't know."

"You can."

"Abra didn't come to the match, so Abra didn't know."

Lansung Papa Carel chuckled. "Young people today are still shy."

With a slight smile, Abra nodded her head. Then unexpectedly, the drizzle began to fall at an increasingly late afternoon. Inevitably, Papa Carel and Abra entered the house.

"Oh yes! Before going home to dinner here first yes," said Papa Carel after they were in the guest room.

"Neither do it. This is also Abra going home," Abra refused slowly. She was afraid that Camelia would refuse.

"Cong with nolak. No papa at all. This is also for Atha to come."

"Yes, follow my father. It's raining at the moment. I'm afraid that the other day's gonna happen again."

Papa turned to Camelia, then asked, "what kind of incident?"

"That's pa, which was Camelia's time to Jakarta but halfway home, Camelia's car broke down. Especially when it rains. Good thing there's Abra who's nolongin, Cam. But instead Abra became sick from Cam's nolongin."

Papa Carel nodded his head. While Abra smiles himself because he has become a hero to Camelia.

"Thank you Abra for helping my son."

"Om together."

Long time the two men of different ages spoke, a voice sounded from the mosque near the house that began to reverberate. Papa Carel then invited Abra to pray magrib congregate with them.

Yes, congregational prayer has become the main routine in the family Papa Carel if papa is at home. All family members also pray except for the woman in the family who gets her red light every month.

Inside the house of Papa Carel, there is a special room that they call the family musholla. Cold room was painted with beautiful green leaves, while the ceiling of the room was painted in such a way as the sky in general. To make anyone that person will feel at home there for a long time.

Arriving at the family musholla, Papa Carel asked Camelia to give her a cocoa shirt that had been bought for Abra to wear during prayer. Camelia rushed to Papa Carel's room. Open a new wardrobe and take it off one of the shelves.

After getting it, Camelia returned to the family's musholla and gave her buy-in cocoa clothes for Abra to wear in her family's congregational prayers. Only after, he also prepared for the congregational magrib prayer.

In the family musholla, Abra was singing the adhan when Camelia, Mama Lia and Carissa came there. Hearing the melodious voice of the Adhan made Camelia's heart instantly beat faster. Camelia held onto her chest suddenly.

"Astagfirullah, astagfirullah, astagfirullah" Camelia said in her heart.

Mama Lia who saw something strange with her daughter, then asked while holding Camelia's arm.

"Why son?"

"Ti .. is okay ma," said Camelia nervously as she held Mama Lia's hand back with her other hand. He just continued, "it looks like Cam is praying in the room."

"All right, there. Let Carisaa pray here with mama."

Camelia nodded. He went from there and rushed into his own room to perform his magrib prayer.

Some time has passed, all the families have completed their respective obligations. Camelia, who had just folded in a row, gasped in surprise when Carissa suddenly walked into her room.

"Mother," call Carissa as she runs towards her.

"Honey, where is everyone?"

"Opah and uncle are in the living room. If omah's in the kitchen, prepare food."

"Alright, let's go help omah," Camelia asked Carisaa while holding her hand.

Carissa nodded. They left the room and went to the kitchen to prepare a family dinner. Arriving at the stairs, Carisaa let go of Camelia's hand and ran down the stairs.

"Be careful, don't run around the stairs, son. Later ...."

"Yes ...."

Not even Camelia finished her words, Carissa had lost her balance making her almost slip if Camelia did not hold her hand immediately. But unfortunately, Carissa who managed to help him even made himself lose balance. Unexpectedly, Camelia's leg slipped along.

Camelia almost fell - landing her body on the uneven side of the house, when suddenly a strong, sturdy body held her body off balance. Camelia looked back. How surprised he was to see who had helped him.
