Camelia's Matchmaking Intent

When the time showed at five o'clock in the afternoon, Atha ended his meeting with his high school friend. After that, he went back to Abra's house to get Carissa clothes because of plans tonight Carissa will stay at Camelia's house.

As her footsteps stayed a little further up to the parking lot of her car, Bella who from inside the house ran over called out her name. Then Atha turned around, he approached Bella.

"What's the deck?"

"Mas, Bella wants help, can't you?"

"Can you ask for help, what?"

"It's mas, mas tau where to sell chicken geprek near sma nusa?"

"Yes know. Want to buy it?"

Bella nodded her head with a smile as she easily guessed the request. Then as a cousin, Atha was like a sibling to him and was no different from Abra.

"Well, go buyin first."

Atha passed by and bought Bella's order. Not long, Atha has arrived in front of the chicken seller who intended Bella. He went inside and started ordering a crowded chicken by visitors this afternoon.

While waiting for her order to be ready, Atha turned around and sat down on one of the waiting chairs while looking around her. Until his gaze was fixed on the figure of a woman in peach hijab across the street. Atha immediately stood up and walked quickly out of this place. But when he was about to reach the front, his name was called by the waiter where this pock was sold. He turned his face and waved at the maid to make her wait for a while.

When Atha looked across the street again, she was no longer there. Atha sighed, after all this time he had just seen her back. With a little unwillingness, Atha finally went inside again and took her order.

"Thank you" said Atha.

"Sama-sama," said the waiter of the food stall.

Atha passed from there with an unbecoming feeling. How not - after so many years, he just saw again a woman who until now is still stored in his special heart. A speck of tears fell, somehow - back to see it made his heart warm up.

Atha walks into her car and drives her back home to give Bella her order. Just as he stopped the car, Bella was near the car and knocked on the window.

"Thank you mas" said Bella after receiving her order.

"Sama-sama, if so go first. Assalamualaikum."

"Waalaikumsalam, be careful mas." Bella waved her hand, only after seeing that Atha's car was no longer visible did she enter her house.

On the way, Atha heard that Adzan magrib had reverberated. He then turned his car - into the mosque grounds. After Atha from the car, he rushed to the ablution.

Time passed quickly, Atha had prayed magrib with other worshippers. Before leaving the mosque, he shook hands with some of the fathers who were there. Later, he drove his car to Camelia's house.

When he got there, he knocked on Camelia's door. The open door displayed a figure that made Atha surprised.

"Abra."

"Oh, Atha. Come in" said Abra like the host.

"Assalamualaikum," he said as he stepped inside.

"Getishalight."

Just as Atha was about to sit on the sofa, he stood up straight again and put his feet into the house because he heard Carisaa's scream.

Camelia almost fell, landing her body in an uneven part of the house, when suddenly a strong body held her body that had lost its balance. Camelia looked back. How surprised he was to see who had helped him.

"Mas."

Atha made Camelia stand up again. Slowly, they went down to the ground floor. Carissa who saw it, slowly descended very carefully by holding on to the safety of the stairs. Arriving Carissa also on the ground floor, she then ran to hug her father. 

"Yee, good thing papa came in time," a cheerful shout from Carissa as her papa tau appeared in time.

"Yes pa, sorry Carissa wasn't on purpose."

Abra and Papa Carel, who saw Camelia almost fall, were relieved when Atha caught Camelia in time. But deep in Abra's heart, he felt unwilling to see the events that made his heart ache.

Suddenly their sight met. Camelia quickly moved away from Atha, saying she wanted to go to the kitchen. Atha nodded, they all went back to the guest room - waiting for the dinner call together.

Not long after, Carissa ran a little into the living room and said, "Opah, the food is ready."

Papa Carel nodded. Papa then invited the two men who were mating for dinner together. There, Carissa had already taken her seat. Semantara Mama Lia and Camelia just sat down after the three other men of age were sitting.

"Carissa read the prayer" said Papa Carel.

"Yes opah," said Carissa after she began to read the meal prayer followed by everyone there.

"Aamiin," Carissa continued, ending the prayer.

"Let's eat" said Papa Carel.

Among the six people who had dinner at Camelia's house, there was one who had eaten awkwardly. It was Camellia. Despite his own home, he ate so awkwardly. How not, he did not expect dinner by sitting next to Abra.

At first, he wanted to sit next to Carissa. But as he waited for all the men to sit down first, the place he had originally targeted was taken by Atha. Especially when you know, the only seat left is to stay beside Abra. Inevitably, Camelia had to turn around and sit next to the man who had to make her forget the past.

"Son, what's wrong with you?" mama Lia asked Camelia who was just busy stirring her food.

"Oh!" Camelia. "It's okay, ma," he continued.

Camelia also gradually spooned the food into her mouth. Among the others, resumed their dinner with voraciously and calmly.

"Mother," call Carissa to make Camelia look at her. "Not that you like to eat tofu omah cuisine, why not now?" carissa made Camelia choke.

Abra reflex gives Camelia a drink with herself holding Camelia by her glass - gently patting Camelia's shoulder to let her cough subside. All goes well until Abra accidentally turns to the house person whose gaze turns to her. It made Abra slowly pull her own hand. Camelia quickly took over the glass and drank the water.

Then far before, Camelia had originally seen her favorite food. Only, his favorite food was right in front of Abra and made himself have to undo his initial intention.

In a second, they resume dinner with Camelia who gets her favorite meal - because Abra took the food and put it on Camelia's dinner plate.

"Thank you" Camelia said.

After dinner, Papa Carel invited Atha to his office for a while. While Abra is invited by Carissa to the front of the tv, as well as Mama Lia and Camelia start cleaning their former dinner.

In Papa Carel's workroom, Papa Carel tells Atha to sit in front of him who is blocked by the desk. Atha passed by sitting down. After Papa Carel felt somewhat calm, he began to convey his intention of calling Atha to come to his study.

"Papa called you here on purpose regarding your parents' arrival."

Atha nodded slowly as she continued to hear Papa Carel's words to her.

"As you've heard, if both your parents will come to Bandung for family gathering."

"Yes pa."

Then, with Papa Carel slowly continuing his words, "Both families have agreed, from the arrival of your parents later - we intend to match you with Camelia."

Atha seemed not surprised by Papa Carel's words just now because he had expected it earlier - during his journey here. Unlike the person who was standing behind the wooden door. He did not expect a day like this would come sooner than he expected.
