Two CEOs

Returning home from the hospital, Mila is picked up by Regan. From a distance Regan was already smiling sweetly at him, not long after Mila saw aunt coming down with Matthew.

Mila then walked faster, half ran and approached them.

"We're leaving now?" said Mila while taking Matthew from aunt's sling.

They get in the car and will have dinner together at a restaurant. Regan made the reservation first. And when they got there they immediately sat in the empty space that had been provided.

Regan pulled out a chair and allowed Mila to sit down. They ordered food and happiness was evident on their faces.

"Had we been a family, we would have booked a hotel upstairs and stayed here" Regan whispered in Mila's ear.

While the aunt had finished eating and had a walk with Matthew she had a wide play.

"Hemmm," Mila just stared at Regan expressionlessly.

"I've often imagined we'd be a whole family and Matthew would be happy."

Regan looked at Mila and tried to knock her heart out.

"I'm sorry Regan, I'm still not sure I'm getting married again."

"I'll wait for you until you're sure I'm serious and won't play our wedding."

"Hemm, what if your family doesn't like me?" ask Mila suddenly.

"I will fight to convince them and I will still choose you."

"Marriage without parental consent is not easy."

"I know, but you're gonna marry me, not them, right?"

"Despite that, their blessing is very important. And I'm not sure they'll grant your request."

Mila looked at Regan and Regan clasped Mila's hand.

"Would you give me a chance to prove it?" regan looked straight at Mila.

Mila recalled to Matthew and finally nodded.

"Let's go over there....!" take Regan and hold Mila's hand.

At the same time Nadiya sees Regan walking hand in hand with Mila. And he stood looking at what Regan was doing with Mila's doctor.

"I thought they had a relationship" Nadiya said, joining her family who had sat first.

Nadiya has just arrived and accidentally sees Regan leaving the restaurant hand in hand with doctor Mila.

The next night, CEO Handoko invites Mila to dinner after the hospital. He also had the intention to propose to Mila after finding out that Mila was cured.

Regan keeps getting close to Mila and the CEO doesn't want to lose either. He would also ask once more to Mila. And if this time fails then, he will give up.

Mila sat down with a thump because the atmosphere was so romantic.

"Mila, you look beautiful today" Handoko's CEO said.

"Hem," Mila was silent and just stared at her top with a thump.

"Thank you.." said Mila, turning her eyes.

"I brought you here, because I can't wait any longer. Mila, will you be my wife?" ask the CEO directly without further ado.

Mila looked up shocked and stunned.

"What?"

"......"

Mila closed her lips with one of her hands.

Mila was silent and unable to say anything. He did not expect the CEO would also say the same thing once again.

Mila took a deep breath and finally said that she could not accept her proposal.

"I'm sorry sir, but Matthew is Regan's son, and ...."

"I know that. But if you're not with him, then I'll think of Matthew as my son and love him" Handoko's CEO said.

"You....." The CEO looked at Mila and his eyes became sad.

"Regan was actually my first love. And the reason I can't be with him is his family."

"You love him?"

"I'm sorry sir. But I don't want to keep making mistakes in marriage."

"Why are you....."

"I'm sorry for my confused attitude. You're so handsome, nice and well-established, you're gonna get a better girl than me."

"That's how you rejected me?" said the CEO staring intently and straightly right at Mila's face.

"I'm very sorry..not realizing from the beginning and making a mistake between you" said Mila and looked at CEO Handoko.

"Did Regan know how you felt?" ask CEO Handoko.

Mila shakes her head and won't tell her feelings until Regan can convince her family.

"You....."

The CEO then invites Mila to wake up and will take her home.

"I will go home alone" said Mila who had gone awry due to the stiffness that had just occurred.

"I'd better take you. Mila. If before that you come, then my heart remains open to you" the CEO said very sweetly reassuring Mila if she is earnest and not playful.

Mila smiled and nodded slowly.

The CEO then fixed Mila's hair a little messy because of the wind.

"You still wearing a wig?" ask CEO.

"Yes, my hair is still not growing, and this wig is very helpful."

"You're still beautiful with or without a wig" Handoko's CEO said.

Nadiya knocks on Regan's room, and she finds out that Regan isn't currently asleep.

"Regan, open the door, you want to talk" Nadiya said, and soon Regan opened the door.

"Yes mi."

"Yesterday mommy saw you eating with someone. My mom also ate there. Who's she?" nadiya asked pretending not to know if it was Doctor Mila.

"...."

Regan looks at her mom and Regan thinks it's her chance to talk to her mom about wanting to propose to Mila.

"That's doctor Mila. We're getting close and we're dating" Regan said slowly.

"What?! What did you just say? Didn't mom hear me wrong?" Nadiya.

"No mi, Mila is Regan's choice and we feel fit and are getting married."

"No Regan. You can't marry her" Nadiya stood up and looked at her son.

"Why mi? What reason?"

"But you can't marry her. You know she's Doctor Irwan's widow. Have you lost your mind? You're the CEO and you can find a single girl. Is the world so narrow for you that you can't find a single girl?"

Nadiya left Regan's room and turned to her once more.

"Mami doesn't agree that you're close to her and that you're in a relationship with the widow" Nadiya and Regan said, just silently looking at her mother's expression.

Regan was silent and sat back down weakly.

If she can't convince her family then, Mila won't want to marry her and they can't live together.

Regan lay down and looked at the ceiling of her room. She was sad and disappointed by her mother's attitude of not being able to understand her feelings.
