Changing Fate: Monster Girl

Changing Fate: Monster Girl
Chapter 8 - His Own

The test! The test! The test!

The rainwater began to flow to the earth. Dampening the entire surface of the dry green planet.

High-speed winds sweep garbage, dust and leaves into the air. Mixed with raindrops that are increasingly heavy.

In March. The moon, which is usually colored by the scorching sun, is now completely dark because of the cumulonimbus that hangs on it. As if accompanying Kyara's gray heart.

Kyara is still sheltering under an overpass. Some street children seem to avoid it.

Indeed, his strange looks, anyone would have been reluctant to get close to him. Just like her lover before, who preferred her beautiful twin sister, compared to her ugly self.

"Huu... It's cold." Kyara wrapped her arms around her chest. The cold air that greeted his tiny body, could not be held back by the sheet of cloth that had been soaked.

But somehow Kyara felt grateful that it was raining so heavily. No one realizes that his tears are flowing. Heart's torn. But she is not a weak and weak woman.

"Patience, Kyara. You must be strong. Coconut trees alone must receive the wind, to grow tall and strong. I also have to get through it" Kyara told herself.

"Heh, padlock! Don't sleep here! This is my place!" A man with a small guitar on his back, floated his kick at Kyara's weak body.

"But this is a public place?" kyara.

"There is no such thing as a public place. Every place on earth has its owner. You go find somewhere else," hardik teen.

"But this also opens your place, sir. It belongs to the state. We're both hitchhiking here" Kyara replied, not to lose.

"I was here first. I've been in control of this place for a few months. You're the one who's suddenly coming right out of here!" hardik the man was rude.

"Then I'm the same. Today I came first. So this is my place. You who came later, immediately go and find another place" Kyara replied.

The man's irritated breath sounded clear. He clenched his hand, about to throw a fist prize at the ugly woman.

"After all, this place has been spontaneously identified by me. Do you still want to take it?" kyara again.

The man with the strong smell of cigarettes, looked at the woman before him carefully. His fist slowly opened. His angry look at the woman turned into a look of disdain, looking at the scars all over Kyara's body.

"Damn it! I'll have to sleep at the stop again" the man muttered as he passed away.

Kyara smiled cynically watching him leave, "I won't be so kind to cunning and geeky people like them anymore" she said in her heart.

Sruk up! Sruk up!

Kyara scavenged the place on her foot using a scrap metal bar. A few small animals were writhing near his feet. It felt very amused, but Kyara held all that back.

Sometimes his short legs are also wrong. Making a puddle of brown and foul-smelling water splashed everywhere.

This is Kyara's new place now. The mountain of garbage that is high and smells bad.

It had been a few days that Kyara was scavenging for sustenance in a place that this person had been avoiding so much. Along with dozens of others, Kyara searched for items that could be recycled and used again for sale.

This is the only job Kyara can do to get a bite of rice, after Kyara is expelled several times.

No one wants to accept Kyara to work. Kyara's different physical condition is the reason.

“See, there is a new garbage truck coming,” exclaim people. They were all in droves chasing the two garbage trucks that had just arrived.

Kyara, who has not yet recovered, cannot come running after him. The poor girl also only focused on the pile of trash around her.

Sreth! Inadvertently the iron used by Kyara got stuck in the zipper of a small suitcase.

“Oh! What is this?” Kyara pulled her findings to the surface.

The black suitcase looks still very good, even though it is dirty by garbage and mud on the outside.

Kyara's heart hesitated to open it. He remembered the news that often appeared in the media, about the murder that threw his body into a suitcase.

“About what is it, huh?” Kyara lifted the suitcase. Very light, not as he had expected.

His heart is beating fast. He ventured to open the sealed bag.

“Hopefully the contents are not that strange.” Kyara closed her eyes, while her fingers pulled the zipper.

Slowly the little girl opened her eyelids back, “Ah, shoes!” pekik Kyara was alone. No one listened to him. The other scavengers were still busy with that new garbage truck coming up.

In spirit, Kyara looked at the two pairs of shoes she had just found. His condition is still pretty good. There was only a slight tear on the side, but it could still be repaired. The color is also very brilliant.

"Why banished, huh? It's still good" the woman murmured.

Kyara remembered her sister. The first daughter of Evan and Rhea, also likes to throw things that are still good. The reason is bored. Not infrequently Kyara also received Maria's used goods.

"I never understood what their mindset was," Kyara murmured again.

Again, even though they are twins, but their attitude is very much different. If the sister lives a luxurious and feminine lifestyle. Kyara is more modest and likes to wear loose and covered shirts.

Kyara checked every crack in the suitcase. He found nothing more than one sheet of five thousand dollars, and several dimes worth eight thousand two hundred.

After the discovery, Kyara continued to scavenge the trash. Until the sun comes down from the contest, Kyara finds quite a lot of used goods for sale.

“You're a new person huh here?” ask the besieger who weighed Kyara's finds.

“Iya, Sir,” Kyara replied.

“Then you still can not be paid in full,” said the man with scars on his hands and face.

Kyara breathed a long breath. He knows, it's all just an excuse. They deliberately bought the findings of Kyara at a very cheap price.

“Ya. It's okay,” Kyara said moments later. So how much is it, sir?” ask Kyara.

“This is for you,” said the besieger while handing over three ten thousand bills and several two thousand bills.

“Thank you very much,” replied Kyara then about to pass away.

“Wait first! That's what you brought?” the fierce-looking man, held Kyara back from leaving.
