Episode 21: First Test

The sound of the bedroom curtains was opened by someone who woke me up from my deep sleep last night. I rubbed my eyes and looked at a maid standing next to the window.

"Good morning miss" said the maid kindly

"Diamond... Pa... Morning" my murmurs narrowed both my eyes

"I'm Lina, I was assigned Mr. Steven specifically to serve the lady for a few days" Lina said with a bow

"Why? No need to bother" I murmured

"Miss doesn't bother me, this is already my responsibility" Lina muttered smiling

"Where's Steven?"

"Sir Steven's been on some important business for a few days so Mr. Steven doesn't have time to say goodbye to Miss"

"Hmmm alright" I exhorted to go to the bathroom

"Oh yeah. I'm going to college today and I'm going home a little late in the next few days for group work, so don't report to Steven ya" I muttered and then closed the bathroom door

"Well miss, I prepare breakfast" muttered Lina and exited my room

These few days I'm going to take a semester exam so inevitably I have to study at the college library so I can get good grades. I took a shower and put on my uniform because I didn't want to be late for college. After getting ready - ready I went downstairs for breakfast.

"Please miss, it's your breakfast" said Lina, handing over a plate of sandwiches with fresh cow's milk

"Thank you.." I muttered eating the sandwich greedily

"Miss came home late because she had to take a test?"

"Yes, I'll be testing in a few days. Why do you know?"

"Because I used to go to college, miss"

"You ever go to college?"

"Yes very right, miss"

"So why do you want to be Steven's maid? There are many other jobs" I murmured

"Yes, if other people see it, they will think like that, miss, but if they know Mr. Steven, it must be like working with Mr. Steven"

"Hmmm what's in it?" I muttered curiously

"eek... Mmm Miss is almost late, the driver is waiting for miss" said Lina tidied up my breakfast dishes and washed the dishes

"Alright, thank you Lina for breakfast" I muttered not understanding why the maid did not answer my question earlier.

I grabbed my bag and walked out of the house to get into the car that was waiting for me in front of the house

"Good morning, miss, are you ready?" said the driver who was a little old

"Yes I'm ready sir" I murmured and the car drove away from home to my campus

The long and boring journey made me always sleepy but I didn't want to fall asleep in class like that time anymore. I looked at the driver who was focusing on driving.

"What father's name?" much

"Oh yes, I'm sorry that the lady hasn't introduced herself. I'm Leo Mr. Steven's personal driver"

"I'm Sani sir"

"Yes Miss Sani, greetings" said the driver with a smile

"Have you worked with Steven for a long time?"

"Yes, I've been working since I worked in the Huan family"

"Huan's family?, isn't Huan's family Steven's family huh?"

"Yes very right, miss"

"Then, where are all the families?"

"His family is from Japan, miss"

"Japanese?" I was surprised

"Yes, miss"

"So why is Steven in China?"

"Our number has arrived" said the driver stopped the car in front of the campus which was still quiet

"Thank you sir, I'll pick you up around 10pm" I muttered and got off the car

"Well miss" said the driver and left me in front of the campus, I also walked into the campus

"Saaannii.." call Nana behind me.

"Oh hay Nana"

"Tumben very early in the morning you came and it looks like the car I've seen" muttered Nana looking at me confused

"Yes, you've seen it before" I murmured

"Whose car is that?"

"Let me know, and then the exam will start so we have to get inside" I muttered, switching the conversation

"Oh yeah, come on" Nana muttered as she stared at her watch

The two of us immediately sat at their respective desks and worked on the math exam questions given by the lecturer. Well, luckily I can do math so it doesn't make me have any trouble working on 50 math problems.

"Hush Sani, wait for me in the library later" whispered Nana behind me

"Alright" I urged and took all the maths exam seriously

Although I didn't learn about math last night, luckily math was a lesson I really liked and the easiest lesson compared to the others

An hour later I finished everything quickly and immediately gathered it to the lecturer and left the class to go to the library to find information about Steven's mafia, besides, I was also waiting for Nana who was working on a math test problem that was not too easy for my other friends
