Changing the Love of the Past

Changing the Love of the Past

A week after Dino's departure to America. But in that week mas Dino always make video calls with family.

Our activities are still going as usual.

I went to the library after the first lesson was over because I had a history assignment to do. I asked Loly and Sasa to accompany me but said they wanted to buy snacks in the canteen first and would catch up with me later. In the library quite quiet maybe I can count with the fingers of students who are in there, they sit far apart. I took the card to the library manager's Naya's mom, then looked for a seat in the third aisle that was difficult to reach by Naya's mom. While the other students were in the first hallway, the distance of their seats was quite close so that if they were noisy, Ms. Naya would immediately reprimand them. This room is also quite spacious and is limited to very high book cabinets. The books inside are also diverse, there are novels, magazines, recipes, and so on. This is done to increase the literacy of the students. I chose the history book first and arranged a sitting position in the place I had marked.

I read every page and match the questions Denis gave me. It had been five minutes I waited, but Sita and Loly had not shown up yet either. Maybe they forgot because of the conversation in the cafeteria. I saw the clock on the wall break time was still 15 minutes away. I also finished working on history. I put the book back in place and decided to come out but when I was about to reach the door, my body suddenly hit someone hard. I fell down with that guy too. I immediately got up and cleaned my dirty skirt and stretched out my hand to help the person.

"He accepted my hand."

"Thank you, yeah..." A voice very familiar to me. When our faces met I immediately pulled my hand away so quickly that it made her jerk in surprise. That's because the person I'm helping right now is Alice. Husband's affair. The one who smiled in my last moments. Alice's face was still so innocent. He also wears his old glasses. Yeah, because Alice knew how to dress up when we were in second grade High School. It was because I said that she was not fit to wear glasses and would close her pretty eyes.

And so foolishly I bought her makeup supplies that she began to learn to beautify herself. Why did we meet so soon. Alice looked at me in confusion as I stepped back to get away from her because she didn't know who I was.

"Why you?" I stopped Alice's hand from touching me.

"I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry."

"Hey.wait." I don't care about his call.

Right now all I think about is getting away from him. I stopped at the park next to a quiet classroom building. Rarely do children come to this place. There was a long bench in the garden. I sat on that bench and now I'm crying. Seeing her face made me recall how she took Lex from me. And they betrayed me from High School, although sometimes I was jealous but I never suspected anything. I was stunned when someone thrust a handkerchief in front of my face. I raised my face to see who it was.

"Leo?"

"Why do you see me every time I see you cry." I took the handkerchief and cleaned my already very messed up face.

"You know if you keep crying people will come and crowd here to see you because your crying is so big."

"Why are you here? You must have followed me."

"What am I following you for. I should've asked you why you could come here and interrupt my break."

"I was sleeping, but your crying was bothering me."

I don't know why today Leo is talking more and nagging. He just said yes, no, what. If you don't speak, use the expression on your face.

I unconsciously laughed at him.

"So crying now he's laughing. Don't you go crazy."

"I'm not crazy, I'm just funny. Usually if I ask you your answer must be like, What. I said while exemplifying her.

" Like me. You crybaby."

The bell sign of the end of the first break rang I immediately got up and left Leo. But before that I cleaned my face properly so as not to look exhausted from crying. Friends turned out to be in all means me and Leo were last in. But like Leo has not come in.

"Where are you from?"

"I'm from the library." Said lying.

"We've been looking for you there but there's none."

"You guys are old, maybe when you go in I'm out."

"Then your job is done?" I hit my forehead remembering that I forgot my history book.

"I forgot it seemed like I was left behind in the library. I'll go get it first huh."

As I was about to stand Sita stopped me.

"Later we'll look for it together. Mother Flower at the door." I looked in front of the door and was right Sita said. I broke my intention and sat back down. Leo also entered along with the Flower maam and walked to her place. Our eyes meet each other. He moved his lips as if he were saying something. "Zinc."
